Cherry Blossom Park

Lee heard about what a crazy life he used to have as a child. He figured something like that would have stuck with him but then again with the way his life was aimed, he didn't have that kind of time. He then looked over slightly toward her as she spoke of him leaving her alone. This is where he didn't know what it is he should do. It wasn't like it was back then, even if he did remember, they had grow and things changed. He did, he slowly rose his right hand out and placed it onto her head and rubbed it.

Dawn smiled a little...

"You use to do that a lot too. It would always cheer me up." Dawn suddenly felt a little more shy and nervous so she looked down at her notebook again.

Lee was actually very surprised at his actions and what he chose to do. And when he heard that this was something he actually used to do for this exact reason, it made it all the more shocking. It was like he had gotten hit in the head and was trying to think about his past life again. He was actually enjoying himself

Dawn kept looking at her notebook, thinking about the past she had with Lee. It was good to see him.

Lee slowly started to feel something. It wasn't that he didn't know what it was, it was just he didn't know how he should feel about what ever it was. He slowly leaned forward and took hold of his book in his left hand and stood up as he put the book into his back pocket and stopped petting her and looked off to the side as he held his hand down toward her and spoke
"Come on, were going to go for a walk."

Dawn felt Lee withdrawn his hand from her hand she looked up at him and took his hand.

"Um okay." she said nervously as she took his hand.

When he felt her hand in his, he held onto it as he waited little time for much else. He started walking past the fountain and looked to it and then shook his head. He decided that a larger body of water would be needed for what ever it was that he might need it for. The small little hint's his head was giving were becoming more problems then solutions

Dawn was totally distracted by all the pretty cherry blossom she wasn't paying attention to where Lee was taking her to.

Lee continued forward along the side of a railing and that was when he looked off to the right side and saw it. It was in plan sight but his mind was going through a mental blender so it was okay to have not noticed. He continued to walk with Dawn being pulled behind him as he started toward the pond/lake

Dawn finally started paying attention and caught up with Lee.

"Where are we going?" Dawn asked

Lee continued to have himself going at a steady pace and with Dawn still behind . He made no motion to shot that he was listening to her, he knew that if he started talking he would end up forgetting what it was he had already forgotten. He quickly came to a stop in front of the lake and then crossed his arms as he looked over the water and then spoke
"Something....about water....something you did.....I remember something you did to me."

Dawn tilted her head to the left slightly a little confused.

She shook her head no, she didn't know what she was talking about.

Lee looked to Dawn and then back to the water and then back to her and moved his left hand up and took off his glasses and then looked down at them. He then looked back to Dawn and then back to the water and then finally back to the glasses. He then threw them to the ground and took hold of Dawn by the shoulders and took a step back toward the water and stopped as he looked back and then took a hold of her hands and quickly pushed them toward himself as if she did it herself and let her go and he feel back to smack into the water

"LEE!" Dawn helps him out of the water.

"I wasn't that mean as a child...was I?" Dawn questions and helps Lee.

Lee slowly was rose out of the water as he took hold of Dawn's grip on him. He shook his head as he coughed out the water and took in a deep breath of air and then exhaled as he stood up and leaned forward as he placed his hands on his knees and then shook his head and rose his hand to tell her to wait. He then spoke
"N-No...not you. I remembered being in the water....becuase you'd help me."
He coughed a little more as he still didn't think the entire process through

Dawn smiled and remember little moments of the past she had with Lee.

"You okay?" Dawn asked concerned

Lee moved his right hand to his chest and let out another deep breath as he heard Dawn speak of if he was alright. He shook his head and answered
"No...I think I drank my own body weight in water."
After a few more coughs he straightened his posture and looked down at himself and patted his chest and then walked over to where he had threw his glasses and knelt down to pick them up and looked back to Dawn as he was now soaked and replied
"I did remember so it was a successful venture though. I will not have to worry about that part anymore."

Dawn looked through her bag and pulled out a purple towel, she wrapped it around Lee.

"Just keep breathing, you'll be fine." Dawn smiled still a little worried.

Lee rose his left hand up to his right shoulder and took his right hand and held onto his right shoulder as a towel was placed over him. He took in a deep breath and then exhaled slowly as he looked over toward Dawn
"Oh, this is nothing. I've had to go through so much worse a few days ago."
He shook his head once more as he let the water drip down to the ground as he continued
"It's nice to know I have a childhood. I figured it was all the same blurred gray mess."

Dawn sits down next to Lee.

"What's really been going on?" She asks Lee wanting to know more.

Lee looked down at Dawn as she spoke about what all was happening in his life. He then paused as he quickly turned to the side and looked behind himself. If it was it would be floating so that was a good thing. He then felt his back pocket as it was also empty. He then turned around and let out a deep breath, he must have lost it on the way here. He slowly crouched down as he spoke
"It's complicated. I'm a vice captain and that comes with a lot of things. All the missions blur together and look all the same. I don't even talk to my little brother much anymore. It's more than likely becuase of that fact that I'm under him."

"I've been a Vice Captain before too...So I know what your talking about. I probably didn't have it as hard though. But your little brother...maybe you can make an effort to talk to him." Dawn smiled a little bit trying to make Lee feel better.

Lee slowly let himself lower down into a crouched position and moved his arms around his knees as he placed his chin onto his knees and replied back to the comment of speaking with his brother
"No, I'm to far passed that point. I've spent my life doing everything for the soul society. To try and turn around like that would only make things worse."
He slowly moved his left hand out and looked down at it and spoke
"I plan on doing great things for myself away from the soul society."

Dawn hugged Lee.

"Taking stuff one step at a time seems best. Why don't you stay here in the Soul Society?" Dawn asked

Lee slowly rose his hands up and moved them to the back of his head as he thought about what she said. He then thought about the book and then thought about the soul society and then looked over to her and replied
"It's not the easy. I already have plans for the soul society, big ones that will makes everything better."
