Cherry Blossom Park

The Cherry Blossom Park appeared as if over night in the far reaches of the Rukongai. It was to the point out that the Seireitei could not take notice of it but was not too far gone out that it was an attention drawer.

The area itself is all but a myth and something one would think to be legend that is only something to drift about in the academy and is not something that is never plagued by the much assumed war-torn rivals around it.

They walk to be met by clear skies and a beautiful fountain that seems ever flowing and never changing. Benches are spotted every now and again to sit and relax if one wishes.=See spoiler 1

Following off in the only direction given will take someone down a elegant pathway with Sakura Trees on both sides of the walkway. The walk is something someone can make in peace and ease.=See spoiler 2

This pathway leads to a hilltop that overlooks a small lake that is spotted with trees here and there and a light breeze will put anyone to a calmer place in there mind. There is a pathway that leads down to the lake side. =See spoiler 3

Once at the bottom, there is a single bench that over looks the small lake with its silent flowing waters and gentle looking nature. =See spoiler 4

A man started to slowly walk into the cherry covered area. He held his hands into the sleeve of the other as he took his strides. There was not to be many other soul reapers here as there never seemed to be many that came to this park often.

He was taking deep breaths and trying to keep them calm and smooth. The fight itself took more than he had thought and the constant running was killer after a time. He would hope to catch his breath here. But he soon came to a stop as he noticed that he wasn't completely alone. He simply stood there and watched the female shinigami in hopes that nothing hostel would follow

Gendo sat upon one of the benches, reading something. It was a book he had recieved from the human world. With a sigh, he turned the page, his mint green eyes scanning the text upon the page. His mood was mostly calm and serene, but there was a hint of stress there. It was unknown why he was stressed, but it was nothing for others to worry about. Gendo heard footsteps and tensed up. Another pair as well. One was a little heavier than the other, meaning that person was closer. He placed his bookmark back into the book and turned his head to see two people, a male and a female, walking about. The female had stopped to see the other male and asked him who he was. Gendo stood up, stretching.

"Do you not know your manners?" he asked, "It's common curtosy to introduce yourself before you ask for someone else's name."

Gendo flashed a polite smile, placing his book in the front part of his shihakusho. He walked around the bench, breathing in the cool air. His silver hair shined in the light and his eyes flashed in amusement.

"Gendo Ishikawa," he introduced himself.

Lee listened as she finally caught glimpse of him and spoke of who he was. So far she didn't seem like much a threat but that had yet to be seen. He paused as he turned his attention to another's voice as it spoke out about educate. He nodded his head toward him as he held his hands where there were just below his chest

"Lee will do for me. Its a pleasure to meet you mister Gendo Ishikawa. And you as well miss..." He paused as he waited for her to fill in his sentence as he turned his attention back toward her.

Gendo gave a simple chuckle, knowing the female found his interruption to be rude. How did he know? He had gotten the same reaction before one time. Gendo nodded, remembering their names right away. Lee and Mei... Simple enough to remember. They were only three letters in length. Gendo fixed his collar, approaching the other two so they may discuss. He tilted his head, watching Mei give a bow. Was she trying to redeem herself? He simply smiled, closing his eyes halfway. He cleared his throat, running slender fingers through his silver locks.

"I am pleased to make your acquaintance, Mister Lee and Miss Mei," he said politely.

Lee nodded his head as he heard the girl give her name as Mei which was easy enough. And Gendo wasn't to tricky either so for the most part, it wasn't too big of a deal to be able to remember them. He started forward once more as he stopped just a few inches from the edge of the fountain as he glanced down into it "So, what brings you two wonderfully enthusiastic people out on this lovely day?"

He turned his attention to Mei first and then slowly let his gaze follow over toward Gendo with his smile still intact as he waited for an answer

Gendo gave a simple nod. It seemed the reasons he was here could go on and on. He thought long and hard on how to answer the question. Gendo laughed once, folding his arms over his chest in a calm manner. It was noticeable he was much more calm when others were around. He reached into his shihakusho, pulling his book out. It was one from the world of the living entitled 'The Divine Comedy'.

"I was taking some leisure time and reading," he said calmly.

Lee looked back toward Mei as she was the first to answer as she spoke about meeting with a soul reaper. This gave way to questionable thought. He quickly threw those thoughts out of his head as he would rather enjoy himself and re-group than be on worry the entire time.

He then looked over toward Dendo as he finally spoke about...a book. He tilted his head to the side as he glanced it over and then turned around and let himself sit on the fountain, raising one leg up and onto the other "So one who is waiting and one who is reading. Both good reasons I assume?"

Gendo gave a simple nod to Lee. It was a simple excuse. For the most part, he prefered the calm outdoors to the eighth barracks anyday. It was more tranquil out here than it was in there. Gendo's eyes widened as he heard Mei speak of the book. When she asked which part he was on, he cracked a smile, placing the book back into the front of his shihakusho.

"Unfortunately," he began, "The hero is still within the Inferno in my book."

Lee looked between the two as they began to speak over the book Gendo held. He nodded his head as he pointed to the book "Well then, I can only assume that it is a good read then?" He turned toward Mei and then back to the holder of the book as he leaned his posture forward and waited for another answer

Lee nodded his head as Mei seemed very fond of the book overall and suggested it to him if he ever went to the world of the living himself. He would have to make note to gander for it if ever he went. He laughed lightly as that actually wouldn't be too far away from his numerous little trips he had been making.

He raised his right hand up lightly and signaled for Mei to come to him as he looked into the water "Mei, would you come here for a moment."

Lee lowered his hand down to skim over the top of the water lightly before glancing over toward Mei as she approached him. When she spoke he looked back toward the water and then let his finger dip down into it as he started to swirl it around

"What do you think of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads? Or the Soul Society as a whole?"

Lee continued to move his fingers around in the water and looked up to her and smiled "That is good, its nice to know that the Soul Society is well liked. I was simply wondering, nothing more. Casual conversation Mei, nothing to get yourself to worried over or would you like to talk about the park here? Do you like it?"

He raised his hand out of the water and flicked his fingers to get most of the moisture off as he looked around at the cherry blossom tree's

Ashe walked idly into the Cherry Blossom park with a peaceful expression on her face. She hadn't any duties today and figured she would relax for a little bit before training or something. She had heard about this place from a friend in the Academy and decided to finally check it out. Now that she was here she certainly had to admit it was beautiful. She had no idea such a peaceful place existed within the Rukongai... If only the kids from her old district could see it. She would have to mention it in a letter to them and telling them of her recent promotion to an actual Squad.

Lee paused as he held his hand out that it had aimed itself in the direction of someone else. It seemed the park was usually active this day. He raised his hand up as he let it wave from one side to the other as he called out

"Hello there." He let his hand come down to rest on the fountain's stone ledge as he pulled his legs up and crossed them. He then slid his hands into his sleeves as he awaited a response.

Ashe caught a sakura petal that was falling and smiled. She remembered a little girl named Sakura from her old district. She would be surprised to see so much of her namesake if she ever visited here. Blinking the blond turned and saw a man sitting on the edge of a fountain a little ways away. She had sensed spiritual pressure of a people around there but hadn't really payed attention to it. She smiled and raised a hand in greeting before walking over in front of him. "Hey. I'm Ashe Ventus." She offered her hand politely to the blond haired man.

Lee watched as the woman seemed rather nice enough, if not simple. He watched as she made her way over to him and cheerfully gave her name and offered him her hand. He nodded his head and moved one of his hands out to take her own as he shook it lightly "It is wonderful to meet you miss Ashe Ventus. I am Lee, the pleasure is all mine."

He slowly withdrew his hand and placed it back into his sleeve as he continued "Out for a nice stroll?"
