Cherry Blossom Park

Lee watched the man carefully and without letting his guard down. He made sure that Ashe was still in sight near him and was ready to even run if it meant that he kept his cover. He listened as Daiseisho spoke and all the anger or threat that was in the air disappeared. Lee gave a flat stare as he simply didn't know what to say as a reply as he let him walk away.

He slowly turned to the side to look back at Daiseisho and just simply watched him walk away, Lee himself was still without words.

Ashe felt a little less wary about the man as he smiled and spoke easily but when he walked past her she shivered and whipped her head around to watch him leave. Letting out a small breath she turned back to Lee who seemed like he felt just the same. As if the man might turn around at any moment and suddenly strike. She wasn't sure what to say. She knew the man's name and obviously they knew each other. So trying to relax and lighten the mood she tried to smile and mention abstractly, "I don't like the flute much, do you?"

Lee slowly let his attention turn itself toward Ashe as she spoke of his flute. He closed his eyes as he gave off a light laugh and nodded "I would have to agree with you on that, not something I would be caught playing myself." He placed his arms at his sides before he shook his head "So, where were we? Ah yes, a nice peaceful stroll I think"

Ashe beamed when she got Lee to laugh and immediately felt better. He had a nice laugh and she felt at ease enough to slip her hands back into her pockets, continuing walking by his side. "Hehehe, I wouldn't know what to do with one. Wish I did know how to play an instrument though...oh well. And yes I believe that we were taking one and so we shall again!" She declared, raising her arms high gesturing to the wonder of the park around them, smiling as a breeze blew sakura petals past them, getting a few on their clothes.
Then linking her fingers together behind her head she glanced at Lee and asked, "So what about you? What's your goal? What do you want to see accomplished before you leave this world and all others from this form?"

Lee slowly let himself continue down that walkway with Ashe at his side. So far, she was a very nice candidate and seemed to be fresh at that. He raised a hand up to his chin as he stroked it lightly and spoke "I am quite nice at the piano or so I am told. I will have to find one sometime and let you be the judge."

He fell silent as she then brought up his own goal. He slowly raised his hands up to his chest as he replied "I want to make the soul society strong. I want to make it a place where every soul in it will be just as happy as the next. I am willing to put everything on the line, even myself if I have too to make it a reality."

Ashe's sea green eyes shined when Lee mentioned he could play an instrument. "The piano really? That's always been my favorite one... Though the violin is pretty too. And I'd really like that." She beamed at the thought of those plans.

She watched with interest as the taller blond explained his goal. As he went on the girl's expression became more serious and pensive, staring at him with more intensity. Slowing her pace she then brought her hands down and looked up into Lee's crimson eyes as she asked seriously, "I want that too. But do you think you'll ever actually be able to do it? Hopes and dreams are nice and all and goodness knows I would never give mine up... But I realize I can only do so much." She shrugged before continuing.
"But you say that you're willing to put everything on the line for it... That sounds like you're at least a bit more sure of possible success." She searched Lee's face carefully.

Lee slowly listened as she seemed to like the idea of him playing and would have to make it a point to do that. He let himself come to a slow halt as she peered into his eyes, speaking of his dreams and the possibilities of them being reality. He was silent for a moment before he turned to face her and then placed his hands on her shoulders

"Ashe, you can't be sure of anything unless your willing to give it your all. Willing to put every ounce of power you can in that one thing that will shine the brightest and will make everything possible. I know I will achieve my goal, I will do it and I will be alive to see that day no matter what stands in my way. Ashe Ventus...you are just as strong as you believe. Find your limit, then break it and keep going."

He slowly withdrew his hands as he turned to the side and looked down the path of cherry blossoms, the wind blew and unsettled the trees as the blossoms fluttered by "And I'll make sure to be at the top waiting for you so we can look at our dreams as they become reality."

Ashe stopped as her walking partner did as well before stepping in front of her. She blinked as he put his hand on her shoulders but did not feel uncomfortable, simply looking back at him blankly as she waited for him to speak. When he did it felt rather like he was breathing life and strength into her. She suddenly had an urge to sprint 1000 meters and jump higher than anyone had ever imagined. That feeling stilled though when the man let go of her and turned, leaving her feeling want to know more.

As he spoke again she felt her heart skip a beat as she swallowed. She felt as if there was a door in front of her and everything just lay on the other side. There was no walking away. Clenching her fists she lowered her head before raising it with a determined expression. "And I'll be sure to help you every step of the way to catch up to you."

Lee let his attention fall back onto the blond girl as she stood there. He was wondering if all the speaking was either going to ring false or if she actually was going to take it as seriously as he made it sound. And with her words, it was set. He looked back toward the road and then moved his hand into his sleeve as her determination seemed more than fitting at this point.

He withdrew a badge that was attached to a dark blue cloth. He held it out toward her as he spoke "This is a Taka Badge, if you ever find yourself in need of someone to talk too or help in anyway, just pour a little spiritual power into it and I'll know."

Ashe blinked as Lee drew something out of his sleeve and took it without question as he explained what it was. Running a thumb over the interesting symbol she looked up at the taller man as he said what to do with it. She was rather impressed as she smiled and carefully wrapped the cloth around the badge before placing it inside her the chest folds of her hakama for safe keeping. "The Taka Badge eh? Sounds impressive. And I'll be sure to test it out sooner or later." She grinned as she crossed her arms before it faded slightly. "But what about you? You have a plan. I have skills...or at least some mediocre ones. How can I help you?"

Lee slowly withdrew his hand back and then slid them into his sleeves and listened to her as she then went on about what it was she could do. He slowly shook his head as he then replied "For now, there is nothing you have to do other than train yourself. Get better with your sword and know your limits, push to them and find ways of breaking them. I wont be far away so if your in trouble, don't hesitate to use the badge."

He turned around and started walking forward as he closed his eyes. The day was nice and it was only growing nicer by the moment.

Ashe placed a hand just under hear heart, where the badge was tucked away inside her hakama. Then crossing her arms over it she listened to Lee's reply and nodded seriously. She would need to train harder than ever before. Even harder than she had in the Academy to graduate so early. At his saying that he would be close and to call if she was in trouble she smiled. "I won't." Then she blinked as a hell butterfly fluttered toward her and she held out a finger for it to perch as it relayed it's message and she sighed. She apparently had a few extra errands to do before she could retire for the night. Sending her own message back the black butterfly took off and fluttered away again. Turning to Lee she smiled sadly before explaining. "I'm sorry, I have to go now. recruit duties and all. ..When will I see you again Lee?" She asked of the tall blond man with hope in her eyes.

Lee slowly let himself come to a stop as he heard her speaking about having to take her leave. He had glanced over his shoulder too see the now fleeting butterfly. He then looked back toward Ashe as he let his head tilt to the side and smiled slightly "I'm sure you'll be seeing me around, more often than not."

He raised his hand up lightly as he gave her a light wave goodbye as he flash stepped away, the pedals shifting in the wind where he once stood.

Ashe smiled at Lee's words and nodded, hoping it would be true. Then waving as he disappeared in a flash step she smiled wider, her cheeks rosy as she used shunpo to go back to Squad 6 and was in a good mood no matter what for the rest of the day. She would always treasure that badge now and keep it with her she decided.
