The Void : A different world (INVITE ONLY)

The darkness would lead to a different world, a world destroyed, a world abandoned. Only darkness existed from the skies, followed by several thunder strikes, the world crumbling to pieces.

The slime creature would fall somewhere on the ground, exploding like waterbaloon and throwing all it's content out, safe, but disgustingly smiley( as it is a slime creature after all)

This was the void of no return, a crumbling world with, and the key held by Claire.

Noctis looked around as the gargantuan boom of thunder surrounded him. What was this place of absolute darkness? Buildings were crumbling, enveloped in darkness. Noctis went through a mix of emotions. He felt fear at first until he realized that he wasn't in any imminent danger..... Yet.

''Claire! Where are you? What is this place?!

Slithering noises could be heard, small movements seen here and there. Then there was silence again, the world shaking, several buildings crashing against each other from Noctis's left, then from his right, then there was silence again.

A color of danger then shun over the darkness, a dim glow of red speeding it's way from the horizon of cloud and dust, it was headed towards Noctis and there was no sign of it stopping, several more beams came from all over the place, all aiming to hit Noctis with it. They were Cero.

''What the hell?! Noctis teleported out of the way, onto the building. He didn't stop running from the devastating beams that were now chasing him. They left nothing but destruction in their path. Noctis teleported towards the direction of the beams, leaving his fear behind him. This was the danger that came from the training. Fear could no longer be part of the equation. It had to be removed.

He picked up gargantuan slabs of concrete with his telekenesis and turned them into ginormous swords. He revolved them around his body at an incredible speed, creating a shield of metal around him that would hopefully stop a blast in case one had the pleasure of striking him..

The Cero hit the metal shield somewhat ricocheting into a different location. A small smile formed from Claire's lips a she watched from high above the horizon, she was still standing on her broom transport, watching in excitement. "Nice job." she complimented him, giving away her location.

She waved at him as 3 small but quick hollows jumped from the rubble, they encircled Noctis, one in front of him, two on both his right and left side. It seems that they're under Claire's command, and would move with her orders. The 3 hollows looked alike, they looked like large dogs in an armor of bone.

The one in front of him jumped him aiming to bite of his left arm. The other two held there grounds, there deep growl building up there lungs that it would almost seem like they dont like what they were doing. (Being ordered by Claire to train a human)

Noctis sneered as he received the compliment from Claire. He couldn't care too much for compliments at the moment. He had to focus. Three hollows surrounded him and stared at him. He stepped back and analyzed the deep situation he was in.

Noctis created three other blades out of concrete and threw them at the Hollow's faces with his telekenesis, piercing their bodies. He quickly jumped and sliced them in their masks as a quick finisher and continued to move toward Claire's location. Noctis moved as fast as he could. He rather face more Hollows than have to attempt to avoid another one of those terrible blasts.

The slithering noises moved agitatedly as the hollows were defeated that easily. "Not bad at all." Claire chuckled shooting Noctis with two quick bala shots coming from her right index finger. As her broom moved away with Noctis nearing Claire, it was as if the broom had a mind of it's own.

Her laughter echoed the area. "Use your techniques together." Claire suggested "It's such a waste."

Noctis teleported away from the blasts as he created walls of metal to defend him from the blasts. He was nearing her and she ran away. He wanted to catch up to her. He pushed harder. He moved faster. He took her compliments as a way to derail his concentration. He just forgot about them as he avoided the attacks that were thrown at him.

Noct could tell that she still had a few techniques up her sleeve. He'd be ready for them, whatever they were.

The world started crumbling again, the shake causing the ground to break in half, hot steam escaping the crust of the earth, if you look down, you could see hot streaming lava waiting erupt. Seeing this Claire held her palm wide and aimed it towards Noctis at first. She had a grin on her face, a victorious grin, but she moved her hand away and aimed it on the crack. "Gran Rey Cero..." a charge of blue light shot out from her palm, the range of the shot big enough to engulf the entire city, but it became smaller, merely missing Noctis to hit it's target.

The ground shook harder this time, several chunks of land falling into the pits, the place now looked like an emerging inferno, everything will soon be engulfed in flames and magma.

Izaya tried to hold his ground and stood watching Claire and Noctis. He tried to hide but if was futile. "Now what is this. This sure is intersting but I wish I could have just stayed away. Darn the curious human mind. I do hope I make it through this. "

Noctis teleported from building to building, desperately trying to find cover from the burning magma that would surely end him if he got close enough. He desperately looked for a building that would be able to keep him away from the flames, but it was futile. All were crumbling. Noctis, being the critical thinker he was, analyzed the situation. ''I wonder...." At those words Noctis created 5 blades: 4 thin, regular sized swords and 1 bigger than his body two times over. He landed on the sword and moved with the telekenesis. He too now had his own personal flying vehicle, even if it were a makeshift one.

Noctis eyed Claire. He could see her enjoying this. He sped towards her at a steady pace, launching his barrage of blades at her. The blades cut through the air. He figured the attack was too simple for her and she'd simply knock them away, but he thought it was well worth a shot.

On his way to Claire, Noctis eyed Izaya. He had no time to make a full stop for him. Instead, he extended out his arm as he passed by it, only hoping that he'd grab onto it. Noct didn't know him, but he didn't want him to burn in flames

Claire got what she wanted from Noctis, he finally got what she wanted to teach him, though her vision of what it should be was a bit different, he her theory spot on. 5 blades sped towards her, with land still intact over her position, the slithering noises continued, this time louder and building up to an explosion from underneath the ground, from far away, it would look like giant serpents coming out from the ground, reaching up to the horizon, but if studied closely, they were chains, chains formed from darkness swarming over Claire.

Without even moving a finger, the chains moved around her, forming a protective wall of chains to block the barrage of blades. All of the blades stuck out, making the scene look like a giant pincushion. It would only last a few second before the blades get pushed away, flying in different detections, the wall of protective chains were gone again, and only Claire was left, still on her broom transport.

She eyed Izaya shortly puzzled as to how he got there, she didn't notice him at all, maybe he saw through her plan, something which made her grin at them. "You're finally doing it." Claire said, obviously referring to Noctis. "But you're not quick enough."

By the end of the sentence she was already gone, an inch away from Noctis, breathing under his neck, a card sharp enough to cut even diamonds placed inches away from his skin. "And you, what are you doing here?" She questioned Izaya stepping away from Noctis quickly. "Well, since you're both here" she stated before kicking Izaya out of the way with her right leg, then spinning to trip Noctis from his new found transportation method. "We have no choice now... do we?" She laughed an innocent laugh right at the end of her last sentence, she was enjoying this far too much for her own good.

Claire kicked Izaya away. he luckily blocked it but was flown away to a different stand and he stood there rubbing his arms. "lemons, noticed. I really thought I could hide this whole time. My type of lady there. Laughing at the joys of life." He said smiling. "What is it you wish to do?"

Noctis was breathless. In a split second she had gone from yards away to under his chin, breathing down on him. She was so fast.... She was like lightning. He eyed the sharp card, only inches away from his cold-from-fear skin. How had she done it? He lost her from view for a second. She had just..... Appeared.... He had so much to learn from Claire.

''Thanks, Claire. I gotta ask, though. Were those blasts really necessary? You could have killed me, you know?" He quickly turned his attention away from Claire and to Izaya. He was concerned as to how he got there and why he even came.

Noctis smiled at Claire. What had she meant by that? Noctis was curious by her ideas for the rest of her training.

Izaya watched from.a far and kept his distance .Just here to watch! So don't mind me I'll be leaving soon enough after all! So go ahead and have your fun you two he said laughin and hiding away. He was a mysterious person with hidden intentions.

Claire shot a smile at Noctis, wondering if he really understood her idea of training. Danger always placed pressure strong enough to unlock hidden talents, and a near death experience wont be as bad if you learn a thing or two, but it seems the two of them wanted to talk more than do anything. The world shook again, lava flow came in irregular amounts, steam escaped the grounds, later followed by a magma shot, shooting out near where they stood. "Isn't that the idea?" she said a smile on her face inches away from the two of them.


Claire then turned to Izaya confused again. "You can't escape, there's no return." amused, she laughed. "Were no longer in the same world you see, or rather... should i say the same time span." She placed her index finger under her chin questioningly. "There is a door on top of that tower."

She pointed towards the direction of a tower made of cards, standing still even with the constant shakes. "The key is here." she pointed at her necklace, there hanging was the key out of this place.

"I will give it to Noctis if he improves enough to be quick enough to go par on par with an.... well, something like me." Claire jumped on her broom and sped away. "The tower of cards is slowly melting by the way, if your time runs out, and the cards are gone, you'll be trapped in here forever, well... not for so long, cause by then, you'd be dead."

Noctis glared at the now escaping Claire and began to chase after her. He ran at full speed as an idea slowly developed in his mind. What he was going to do might or might not work, but there was certainly no harm in trying; especially since his life was now at stake. He ran in her direction, picking up speed with each stride. Once he reached his max speed, he used the concrete floor to quickly push a huge, slanted piece of metal onto his foot, propelling him onto the air like a bullet. He could see that he was catching up to Claire, but he needed to go faster. He used concrete to create floating metal slabs held by his telekenesis that he could walk on. He could could cover distance quicker this way.

He teleported from slab to slab, slowly but gracefully catching up to Claire. She took it as a game, but his life was at stake here. He knew that she was doing what was best for his training but did the consequences have to be so grave?

Claire saw him picking up the speed, she throws several exploding cards at the slabs near her, eliminating them. "You cant rely on floating slabs, how long do you think you can hand them with the range difference and all that?" Claire asked poking her tongue out as she made it harder for him by throwing a rain of cards. "You can turn anything into metal right? think fast." she blew him a kiss speeding away again as a rain of cards neared him.

Noctis pushed her comments aside as he fell from his slabs. Her words clicked with him for a second. Why hadn't he thought about it? It was in his face the entire time! He turned the cards into metal slabs and used his telekenesis to hurl them back at Claire. He was close enough for this now.... He used pieces of the crumbling buildings and turned them into large swords. He used them to trap her in a sword-cage of sorts, hoping to stop her movement. He continued to run to her, teleporting whenever he could to cross large distances quicker.

Noctis had a will to be quicker. No, he could feel himself becoming faster. Was he imagining things or was his clinging to life helping him? This wasn't adrenaline. It was something else entirely. He felt as if he could retrieve that key. He had to.

Claire's chains manifested them selves on thin air to protect her from her own cards, he was wise to think of it, but that wasn't what she wanted him to do, but it wasnt a bad substitute either, a grin came back to her face. Claire jumped out of the way leaving her broom to take the damage, but it did stop her from progressing any further, she was standing mid air, defending her selves from the giant swords with just a single card, acting like a blade.

She was wondering about his speed, maybe she wasn't giving him the guidance he needed, she was a hollow a harsh creature who does things differently, following there instincts and all that, she gave him another hint. "You can move anything right?" she stepped back shattering one giant blade with her fist, and throwing exploding cards towards the rest. "Maybe if your feet moved a bit faster, it would make a difference."

Noctis was frozen. She had given him the answer to it. The answer was in his telekenesis. It wasn't in stopping her or distracting her. It was in catching up to her. She had told him everything. He smiled and chuckled, realizing that it was the push he needed. He'd never tried it before and there was no telling the mental damage it would have on his mind. He began to run towards her. He moved faster and faster, picking up speed with each stride. Then, with a last effort, he used his momentum to jump into the air. He had a split second to perform the action. He focused hard on his own body.

He had done it. He was there, levitating in mid air. He smiled and pushed himself forward. He was moving not with his body, but with his mind. It was a new experience. He was, after all, flying. It was a completely different experience from flying. It was exhilerating. He pushed himself and moved faster than he ever had before.

He got what she was telling him and was glad in a way, but the world was already crumbling, the tower of cards just a few more pillars from disappearing. "Let's end this now." Claire said dancing in the air her footwear a bit different from before, she kicked through the air, several wind blades headed towards Noctis, he could fly, but could he defend himself while doing so. She wanted to test that too. "You can do this human."

Noctis smiled at her willingness. It was now or never. The tower was almost gone. He pushed himself harder, moving faster. He got as close as humanly possible to the wind blades and teleported in front of her just in time. His chest was only a few inches in front of her now. ''You aren't getting slow on me, are you, Claire?" He surrounded himself with swords and began attacking her with them.

"Not at all." Claire breathed a whisper in his ear before crushing the card on her hand to turn it into a katana quick enough to block his coming attack. She held her blade, using the free one to punch him in the gut.

Noctis took the blow and fell back a few steps. He wouldn't be able to take it that close. She was too strong for him. He had a different idea. Using his telekenesis, he began to push the key on her towards him, trying to rip it off from Claire's own neck.
