Secrets (Lancer VS Sniper)

Sniper stood still as everything went into plan, but the arrival of the masked men surprised her, this was not planned, she tried looking for Soren, but she could not find him. She couldn't find anyone at all.


And when she couldn't find them, someone found her, someone out of her range, someone who could as easily kill her.

Her instincts told her to stay alert, she stood still searching for this unseen enemy.

She waited, and when the right time came, she will open fire.

The wind blew past Sniper it wasn't a sharp or powerful wind but instead a gentle breeze across the place high on top a building lancer stood there his arms crossed it seemed the time had come. The time to pass judgement on this world well his judgement he sighed and noticed something far across a intriguing girl he remained calm and utilized his shunpo to reach her position standing close by her he didn't waste time with idle banter he wanted to get straight to point. You... Is there something you hold precious to you?

Lancer stood there calmly he had a lack caring he just wanted his questions answered not that it really changed his fate.

Sniper held out her hand gun towards this armored creature. She's never seen anything like him before, but out of fear she could not speak, nor respond, she can only follow her instincts, and in one defining moment, pulled the trigger and opened fire aiming for his head.

She steps back, pulls two more pistols and opens fire...

They only bounced off his armor, it was insane, but her guns were of no use against this creature. "Wh...." she mumbled... "What are you?"

Lancer felt the bullets bouncing off his armor he could understand this girls fear it came from not understanding him. However that would not save her from her because she was the enemy alas nothing he could do but follow orders it was not his choice anymore. Speaking out to the girl again he wished nothing more but then a answer from her You never answered me... Is there something precious to you that you wish to protect?

Lancer slowly started walking towards her as if to appear intimidating he stared straight at her knowing his duty still awaited him and that his so called allies were nearby each with a similar duty.

She did not answer, nor could she find the voice she lost, she's scared to hell, if there was anyone she cared about, she wouldnt tell it to him. She believed it was a trick, she would not tell him, not matter what happens, she would not tell him.

"STAY BACK!" she warned him, shooting bullets that only bounced off from his armor. "STAY BACK IM WARNING YOU!" she cried and begged.

Lancer stopped before her looking down her he raised his hand and touched her forehead. He could feel it something he had not felt in a long time he had finally received his answer placing his arm back down at his side and glared at her seeming menacing he spoke still sounding calm to the very frightened girl. You had better cherish those you have they give you strength to overcome great obstacles.

Lancer shunpoed back from her now that he knew she had the power to overcome him he wanted to test it could she be the freedom he's been longer for to free him from his binds? he watched her and shouted at her becoming a bit more aggressive. Now come at me I wish to witness your power the power they give you!

Sniper kept the gun aimed at him, tears falling from her eyes out of fear, she could not breath properly, she could not think. The first thought the popped into her head was Run.


RUN. She thought... RUN NOW...

She followed her instincts and ran away from the creature.

Lancer sighed and watched her run away it was a shame he hated having to see wasted potential run away like that he lifted his hand and pointed his finger right at sniperHadou number 33. Sōkatsui. A blue light emitted from his finger tips as he fired the kidou directly at Sniper it was only a matter of time before this match was over.

Sniper could only remember running, and feeling great pain as she fell to the ground, face first, she was still alive, coughing spots of blood as she tried to crawl her way through.

Her heart started to beat faster and faster, then it stopped. She was dead for a second... then her heart started beating differently, like there were two heart beats.


thud-thud-thud-thud

She went to her knees, shaking, trembling, fragile and broken, she knelt only long enough for blue light to escape the center of her chest, then fall right down back, this light took shape of a small girl catching her broken body.


Sniper opened her eyes and saw a familiar figure, she already knew it's name.... She smiled at it, for its the last thing she remembers before loosing all of her memories. "Claire..." she mumbles before falling unconscious.

Claire looked down to her with worried eyes, she sighed then turned to the being in front of them, silently watching as events unfold before his eyes.

"My my, youu've caused such a mess with my human..." she lies her down on the floor and stood up seemingly stretching from a long slumber.

"That felt bad... being... asleep for so long.." she complains sighing again. "Now then, where were we?" she asked the being infront of her.

Lancer turned walking away disappointed in the match but he another one planned in mind one that could stop him. He remained silent walking on as if nothing never happened but then stopped feeling a immense reiastu somewhere nearby actually behind him and he sighed once again turning around looking at the girl lying there crossing his arms.

A rain of giant cards shuffled through the skies and with a gesture from her hand it fell on by one aiming to cut the creature in half.

"You're in luck, im in a pretty bad mood." Claire says, it was not the best of days, she had no idea what was going on, who this creature was or why she was here to begin with. The only thing she knew was that this creature, tried to kill sniper, and in doing so, deactivated the possession spell that kept her hidden inside her humans body.

"Die."

Lancer began to laugh at the girl Yes...use the power to kill me protect this world that you all are fighting for...let's begin. He drew out his zanpaktou and wind begin to flow around him and his released his spiritual pressure waiting for his opponent to move this was in fact the most exciting battle he had in a long time he looked forward to seeing it.

There was no doubt he would hope she would overcome him. He had lingering feelings and this punishment was far worse then cycle in hell. But that did not mean he would lay down his life even if he had a choice. Lancer watched as the cards went for him he utilized his shunpo to move right to avoid the cards and towards Claire preparing to thrust at her.

Claire was only getting used to having her body back therefore moved a little slower than usual, she stepped to the side having her shoulder cut lightly, she blocked his weapon with the same card which transformed its self into a giant gun attaching it's self to her arm. She aimed it at Lancer and fired a blue colored cero like energy.

Lancer watched as the blue beam launched towards him behind his mask he smiled muttered Griffin's wing. a white light and wind began to converge around him as the beam consumed him. Within the beam a roar no a screech had erupted from as it was blown apart leaving a very large smoke could one could see that there was a very large creature within it.

The earth shook beneath the Griffin within the cloud as flapped it wings clearing away the smoke with a huge gust of wind stopping and the winds settling down the Griffin stared at Claire with the his amber eyes it's golden colored fur and feathers stood out having a glow around the Griffin. It took a deep breath and unleashed a scream that could pierce the heavens as it launched for Claire it's razor sharp claws aiming to tear her to shreds.

Claire allowed the griffin to get as near to her as possible she timed her movements to get the results she needs she drops the gun and jumps over it's head landing over it's body and stabbing it's back with two cards. She immediately jumps of and lands over a stand just inches away from her.

The Griffin felt a sting from the cards entering into his back and jumped into the air flying high into the sky far enough out of eyes reach. In the air Lancer thought to himself this form is only to over power her with force there is nothing her cards could do but feel like tiny bee stings hmph so now she's nothing more then a bug? ...Lets finish this then I have no more time to waste. The Griffin began to rapidly descend to the earth below he was going to use his body to destroy the surrounding area and Claire if possible perhaps this would set the stage. Speeding down to the ground he used his body as a bomb to slam down on Claire.

The griffin moved fast, she was looking for it, but couldn't find it, she turned... left right... but it was up, it was already too late when she saw it, she crossed her arms over her head to protect her self, but it made contact forcing her down to the ground creating a large crater around them both.

The Griffin stood back up and turned quickly swiping it tail at Claire utilizing it as a high speed whip and sucking in a great majority air holding it within it's body and firing out in a condensed state as a so called air bullet at Claire hoping to destroy her quickly thinking he might have resort to his bankai form the Griffin prepared to revert back into it's normal form. It kept a close eye to make sure Claire wasn't trying anything funny he didn't need to be caught up in a trap.

Claire was halfway crouched on the floor, bleeding all over the place, she spat a blood and was panting. The griffin had gotten her good. She spat a few more blood before she felt the darkness taking over her. The winds shift suddenly, even if the one she was facing had some control over the winds, she took control of part of it, or maybe the elements just had no choice.

Extreme pain burned through her in the form of purple flames, she screamed tormenting screeches before purple smoke covered the entire area. As it diminished a figure jumped from where she was throwing a giant sword at the griffin. It was Claire, but something was not quite right.

Lancer reverted back to his normal form he was breathing heavily his body was battered up inside the armor he couldn't give up just yet he saw what he had done to Claire and forced her to show her real power now he was ready to show his reaching out the winds began to swirl around him as he flared his reitasu muttering Slice and Dice, Kaze. Winding began to wrap around him like another set of armor becoming visible and spear with the blades in the shape of a cross formed in his hand he was holding out and he began twirl it around himself he stopped getting in stance.

So here we are in our unleashed forms With this I will slice you down to pieces but before that tell me. Lancer looked at her she had great power but the feeling he felt at the beginning of the match it had vanished the feeling he hadn't felt in forever he wanted to know why it had vanished. You in that other frail girls body I sensed a feeling I hadn't felt in a eternity. What was it and why did it disappear? Lancer hadn't the slightly clue why he was asking this question but if he was going to vanish he had to know why.

There was nothing insider her, she was hollow, and only knew of nothingness, but she had a soul, but soul there was not where Ave Maria took place.


But she knew what it was, a human emotion foreign to her knowledge. 5 long years she lived as human, she forgot, she forgot how to be hollow. But she could not answer this creatures question, she had control over where Ave Maria took place.

She was there, and she wasnt, and the only thing Ave Maria knew was. "Blood." she spoke. "You will bleed."

In a world of black and white, Claire stood pretty much aware of what was going on in and out of her body. She was taken here by Ave Maria, the one other dominant soul that takes over when she felt like it.

"COMEOUT!" Claire fired to her side instantly diminishing a block of stone into nothing.

HA HA HA HA HA HA There was moving laughter echoing the corners of the dilapidated black and white room.

A few more times.. it repeated it's self.

Before appearing miles away from Claire.

"Come at me" she said. Claire fired her gun at the creature and it made contact, but it did nothing. She ran towards Ave Maria and was greeted by it's blade. She blocked the attack but was pushed several meters away from her.


"You're too proud, Claire. You cant defeat me, not now, not before, not ever."

Lancer sighed slightly disappointed he felt as if another entity had taken her place and she having nothing but blood lust and murderous intent. Lancer launched at her manipulating the wind to levitate him and launch him forward he thrusted his spear aiming for her stomach nothing coming close he instead launched a condense blast of wind not to cut her but to send her flying back.

He was devising a plan as he worked he needed to end this quickly and nothing else was important it had seemed to be a lost cause now.

Ave Maria was sent flying back but chains exploded out control from her back fast moving, expanding into what look like four additional limbs that looked like arms. It buried it's self on the walls putter her to a full stop. She bent her neck only to scream a wave of cero from her mouth aimed at Lancer.

Ave Maria used her chains to trap Claire, but she broke free easily, Claire then threw cards at her, they exploded upon contact. But Ave Maria emerges unscratched, she's now above Claire aiming to cut down over her head, Claire aimed her giant gun at Ave Maria, but it was too late, It was a mirror image, Ave Maria was just infront of her, she stabbed Claire laughing like sobbing. "It's over for you..."

Soren laid there waiting for the spell to weaken most of his reiatsu had recovered as well he thought about his match he lost but he wasn't dead perhaps he had convinced the lieutenant to change his ways or well what he was fighting for he could do nothing but wait lying there he sighed and closed his eyes. A voice began to speak inside his head and he opened his eyes to find himself in his zanpaktou's spirit realm. Good of you to come Soren Kiyomeru...I have brought you here bearing bad news... Soren raised his eyebrow and sighed replying back Alright good ahead and tell me.

The Lung dragon floated in the air his red eyes piercing into Soren's heart and Soren felt nervous even though his zanpaktou was usually serious and mysterious he was never on this level. The girl you care for she's in grave danger what is this danger? I have no clue but you need to head there. Soren's eyes widened at this news he felt worried and yet he clenched his fist and grinding his teeth he looked up at the Zanpaktou Come my friend we're going to protect her. Soren closed his eyes and turned around his resolve unstaggering while the spirit closed it eyes and nodded.

Soren awoke from the trance and got up his reiatsu already flaring because of his anger he won't hold back this time no matter what. He hadn't noticed but the spell had been weaken and broke because got out if it and heading to the site where the highest spiritual pressure was. he began to flash step arriving there shortly seeing a woman that looked like Sniper somewhat and another seemed to just be a suit of armor with wind wrapping around him and holding a lance with a cross on the end. Holding up his zanpaktou reiastu began condense around the edge and tip of his blade a aura coming off his right arm. Sniper is that you down there... either way. He launched down at the site aiming for Lancer thrusting out his blade aiming to disable him.

Lancer watched as the was caught by the chains and fired a cero in return Lancer whom didn't have time to dodge was enveloped by the cero and exploded on him and he coughed his body feeling somewhat batted by the explosion and he realized there was now another reiatsu and looked over his eyes widening and grabbing the incoming boy before he reached him and using the momentum slinging the boy into a area by Claire. ....Hmm so now there is more of you?

Winds began to stir around Lancer as he began to twirl his zanpaktou above his head faster and faster. The winds becoming much stronger and eventually his zanpaktou began twirling on it's own and a tornado formed in the area with lancer in the middle of it. crossing his arms he began to wait.
