The Great Splash

*A small dark orb could be seen forming in the sky, and from it appeared a tall dark figure, floating above the seas of the Pacific. His zanpakto had been released as he looked down upon the small island of a country. He pulled a small box out of his pocket and released it from his grip, it lightly floated in the air above him and the island.*

*Now holding his zanpakto horizontally in front of him, he grinned as he slashed it down towards the water, omitting a huge amount of reiatsu into the swing. As it made contact, a massive wave formed, rising high into the sky. He contiued this action a few times before sheathing his zanpakto completely.*

*The group of waves rose high above the island of Japan, soon to be hitting the islands shores. The water splashed down on the towns and its inhabitants, covering the masses and drowning the houses. People screamed and ran for higher ground but it would be futile. The waves merged and covered nearly the whole of Japan.*

*The dark figure stood above the island, and the little box emitted a slight glow, then returned to his grasp.*

Quick moving figures draped the streets in a quick single motion, like musical notes bouncing on top the roofs of the busy city. "Did you find it?" a voice spoke from the receiver already miles away from it's original owner. "Hey, you still there?"

Two figures dropped dead from the roofs, this time, they weren't moving like a smooth melody, but a tone of tragedy.


Two cloaked figure catching one that was ahead of them by several phases. The two dropped dead within an instant, and one was left, removing the cloak and standing atop the highest point, the ex-captain stood, gazing at ball of light headed towards it's destination, earth, or for now, Japan.

It was not later that a huge wave formed from the seas, it was something she anticipated, she heard the news from someone, but she didn't think it's true. "No... he cant be serious."

Noctis heard the loud surge of the waves nearing Japan. The ball of light that was now headed for his home made it clear that something was going on. He ran, teleporting through the streets of Japan to arrive near the shady looking figure that appeared to be a woman. She was clearly not human, yet had some human features.

Noct threw his gear into the air as it transformed into his gear-blade and caught it as it fell to the ground. ''Are you the one causing all of this?!" Noctis questioned. He wanted answers and he wanted them fast. He would do whatever was necessary to protect his home.

She shot the human a sharp look, she felt like she was being watch and instantly knew he was speaking to her, or rather is able to see here even in her soul form. She did not answer him, instead, ran on thin air. It should shock him to see her do so, it only proves that she is less human than he thinks she is.

She's headed towards the waves which was now reaching the shores humans were running away from the monstrosity headed there way, but she ran towards it as fast as she could.

He chuckled as she seemed to 'fly' away. He had seen a technique like this before and he knew how to keep up. He teleported a short ways and grabbed onto her back. As he hung there, he whispered into her ear a few words: ''You can't get rid of me that easily, love."

She had no time for games, which he obviously had time for, she stopped only to turn to him and say. "I have no time for this Human, you're obviously not normal, seeing as you could see me, but it would be wise to run away, cause being human means mortality." She knew she left him where he was, but how did he get that far that quickly, she didn't feel very pleased at all, she flash stepped this time, looking for the one who's causing all this.

Rage filled her soul, but her eyes with anguish. So she ran towards the wave "How could you..." with only that thought in her mind.

"Wait! I can help you! Noctis followed the woman as quickly as he could, teleporting to keep up. This was getting ridiculous. He needed to know what was going on and he would stop at nothing to figure it out.

The angry waves reached the buildings near the shore, people flooded the streets, this time running for there lives, it wont take long before the wave covers the entire district, Ruru kept her calm yelling with an angered tone. "SANBA!" She stopped to look around. "SHOW YOUR SELF!"

Noctis finally caught up to the strange woman. Panting, he got down on one knee and caught his breath. When he finally saw what was going on around him, his face was left with a blank expression. People were drowning, dying. These people had children, wives, and husbands... And they were all just dying...

Noctis was angered, but he needed to think properly. ''Hey, you! What's going on? Whatever it is, I know you can't do it alone! Think! You know I'm not a normal person. I can help you!"

"I cant put another life in danger, this sacrifice is already way too many... all because of my stupidity... this... this has to stop." she turned to look for the one she's looking for again, but this time acknowledging the presence of the person behind her. "You can die you know...." she warned him, but she thought it didn't matter any longer, how can you value your own life seeing others die in front of you, when you knew you couldv'e done something.

"It's starting... a revolt from hell." this would sound ridiculous to any human, and even to some shinigami's who very well know of the planes, but he needed to know at least. "And it's my fault." she sighed, her hands shaking with mixed agony and anger.

Izaya stod on top of a building loking down at two that seemed to have taken the situation better than the other citizens. "Well well than. This is sure interesting. How come the two of ya ain't running like stray cats?" He said smirking.

He laughed. ''A revolt from hell? Sounds right up my alley!" Noctis firmly gripped his blade and walked closer to the woman. ''You know, if I'm gonna help you out I'm gonna need a name to call you buy. Mine is Noctis. Call me Noct for short. I can manipulate metal, teleport, and move things with my mind." Noctis took some concrete and made them into 4 metal blades. He smiled at her while he juggled them with his telekenesis.

Noctis looked at the new stranger who had joined them. ''I could ask you the same thing...."

"I am..." She recalled being warned about giving her real name out, so she paused. "I'm Bucky" she forced a small smile then turned to look at him. "Bucky D. Rose, don't die." and then there was another one, a suicidal human special like Noctis who could manipulate an objects materiel structure and move them and himself as he showed earlier. "What's up with you humans, the first sign of danger and you run towards it." she was starting to wonder what they were, or rather, why they haven't asked her what she was yet, maybe they encountered her likes, she wasn't the only one anyway.

Izaya walked toward the two with his hands in his pockets. "Nice ta meet ya Mc. Bucky. Runnin towards danger means something ought to be going on right? If it's interesting I'll be there." He said with a smiled. "My name is Izaya. How come you calling us humans. Aren't you one yourseld? I mean for all you know I could be a ghost"

''Hey, Izaya has a point here. What exactly are you, Bucky?" Noctis dropped the blades and they reverted back into concrete slabs.

Izaya looked and sounded funny to her but he hit the nail on the head, but she think he meant it as a joke. "That's not important right now." she turned away from them and wondered when she's started working with humans, she was once a respectable captain, from a respectable clan and respected by many, and now here she was, a fugitive from her world. "All that you should know right now is that I'm here to stop this." She said very much feeling her great guilt the same moment. "The wave is here, but we can still save..." she paused feeling the weigh of what she was about to say. "We can still save a few." she almost forgot how to be a human, how to feel compassion over simple matters, to her, this scene was just a failed rescue mission, to them, this is reality.

Izaya smiled. "you seem to need help Ms. One lil lady can't do it all by herself. I like humans so i want to save them too. Well...for my enjoyment of course." Izaya said walking next to her and putting one arm around her shoulder. "Why don't you at least explain the situations to us? And why only you to stop it? At least fill us in so we can live."

''There's something you're not telling us, Bucky. We're here to help you. We want co cooperate with you. Stop holding back and tell us everything. We can't stop what we don't know." Noctis said this as he pointed his blade at her body, using it to point. He held the same stern look on his face that he had when he first met her.

"I'll tell you all you need, I'll give my word as a human...." She paused at the thought, then continued. "But first we must save the remaining..." In one swift motion she unsheathed Himo to cut something headed there way, it caught her blade, another blade. "What are you doing?" She asked her eyes on a girl half her size, she looked like someone fourteen with pale skin and long hair covering her face, she was wearing a long white tattered dress, her eyes drawing red.

"I can ask the same to you, Shinigami... Why are you destroying this world?" she jumped a few phases back, then pointed her blade towards them. "And humans are helping you to? How convenient."

She kept silent as the other girl accused her, she turned to them with alarm in her eyes. "What are you guys doing? Run, she wont spare you, save who you can, don't bother with the likes of me, we'll meet later, when im done with this."


She tossed a coin towards them. "I'll know where you are as long as you have that."

Se could only hope that they follow her words, there's not much time left.

Noctis nodded and took the coin in his palm. ''Izaya, follow me." Noct quickly teleported out of the scene, letting two words escape from his mouth before he disappeared. ''Keep safe, whoever you are...." He decided it was best to scout out the remaining people who were alive and escort them to safety. Taking them further east of the country was probably a good idea. He knew where he could hide them, and he could defend them if he needed to. He didn't know what would happen to the girl, but he hoped that she would stay alive long enough for them to find out. Things were about to get really messy in Japan.

Izaya took the coin and laughed. And looked at the little girl. "I'm not helpin anybody! Unless it's to my enjoyment. I guess she's a friend so I'll let you two ladies talk it out! I ugess I'll save the interesting lives that were important in my agenda! Bye bye!" He said waving to the others and disappeared

*Sanba shunpo'd a few yards from the trio, he had an expressionless look upon his face.*

"Chiruka....what seems to be troubling you?"

*He knew why she was upset, he also knew what his task was. The past had to be forgotten, he was no longer the boy she remembered.*

*The two people with her were intriguing as well, humans with zanpakto like powers. It confused him but he refused to dwell on it.*

"Sanba!" Ruru yelled the anger still heard from her tone, her full attention pulled away from Claire who was just as surprised as her upon his arrival.


Claire watched as she confronted the other shinigami. "I didn't want to believe him... A demon who claimed to know me, but.. how could you... And to do that to Haji." Ruru turned away not wanting to open up closed wounds.

"You know what's troubling me... For the last time, as your sister-in-law. Stop this." She said with serenity in her voice. "If not, i'll avenge him by stopping you, to save this world... I'll stop you even if i have to follow you in the depths of hell."

Noctis ran towards the far east side of Japan country until he realized what he had just done. He was there to help stop whatever it was that was causing this, yet he had left the woman alone. He stopped in his tracks, turned around, and became running to the position from where he came. ''I'm coming, Bucky.... Noct whispered to himself as he ran towards her, teleporting his way to the place where he had left her. He hoped that she had been able to take care of herself.

As Noctis ran, he convinced himself that he was doing the right thing. He came to the conclusion that no one would be spared if whoever was causing all of this was still alive. He must do everything he can to finish him....

Claire watched them, this time getting the picture, the one she attacked wasn't the enemy, but the one who only arrived then, Sanba as she called him. She wanted to help the female shingami now, but how? She thought of a way, but she sensed another trouble headed there way. The special humans were returning.

"He came back." Claire said, this time amused to see her reaction to her reminding the shinigami of her new found friends.

Ruru bared her teeth confirming Claire's theory, she knew he would comeback, but she can't use them as she's already have.

"Oi, Espada" Ruru addressed Claire, in a calm tone without even looking at her, but Claire corrected her. "Not anymore."

"What ever." Ruru responded quickly, she looked like she pondered over the thought repeatedly, but she was running out of time. "You're not my enemy here, are you?"

Claire giggled, her cute innocent laugh. "We are all enemies here."

Ruru couldn't agree more, but this wasn't the time to cut each others heads off. "You don't hurt humans..." Ruru recited as if she's known lots about Claire. "So you'll help him realize that Sanba is not an enemy he can defeat or even dream of facing."

Without even replying, Claire bounced off her stance headed towards Noctis. "Right ahead of yah." she stopped mid air to whisper something to Ruru thought. "But just so you know, I wont be calling you captain for anything, I'm just moving out of instinct."

Then Claire disappeared, not even her shadow left beside Ruru.
