He has long Blond hair which he keeps pulled back in a ponytail, tied with a black band, and piercing blue eyes.
Personality: Hajime is a tactician. He has been schooled in the ways of war since youth, and he is very calm in the face of pressure. As the heir of a noble family his demeanor often comes across stoic, yet he is a man of deep thought and introspection. Having survived the greatest war the world has ever seen, Hajime is battle-hardened and ruthless in battle; yet he has a deep reverence for life that shows itself in his kind nature. he is a man with no fear of conflict, but is equally willing to solve problems with his mind instead.

Character Story: Hajime's story is one which begins before the time of the Gotei. Born into the noble family of the Yukimura, Hajime was the oldest of five sons born to the Daimyo, Takehiko Yukimura. From his early youth he was schooled and crafted to be the heir to the Daimyo, and Hajime proved to be adept for it.
He spent time serving in the army of Heaven, gaining practical and valuable experience in combat over many years.
He eventually took a wife from another noble family, the Minamoto, a beautiful young woman named Chiruka, who herself was heir. Together they had a daughter, Hinamori, which Hajime took under his wing to mold as his own heir.
The years passed with relative ease, as his daughter grew into a powerful woman in her own right. Together the two were inseparable. She looked up to him, and he loved her greatly.
When the word came of the great march of the hollows, and war was upon them, Hajime was one of the Yukimura, along with his brother Tadakatsu, his father and his daughter, that answered the call of heaven.
Forced to leave behind his wife and newborn son, Hajime marched off to war and the greatest pain anyone could know.
The war was long and brutal, with heavy losses on both sides. The end only came with the sealing away of the battle, by the Illumination, but not before seeing his brother, father and daughter all die in battle. his fury was inconsolable, and he fought with the fire of a man possessed, cutting through the enemy lines like a Tsunami, wielding the great power of his zanpakuto, makurayami, to crush all that lay before him. Taking pity on him, the spirit king persuaded Illumination to release Hajime from the seal and return him home.
Upon returning to the Yukimura, Hajime was elevated to the status of Shogun, and given charge over preparing the armies of heaven, organizing them into what is now known as the Gotei 13. he has been guiding them ever since, preparing them for war, and appointing Commanders to lead over them.

Terms of Usage: Passive (always active)
Description: Shadow breeze refers to the ability of the aura swirling around the blade. with ever strike, the spirit pressure is forced off of the blade in force, like a wave blast, which strikes like the force of a great war hammer, when it makes contact. Against weaker opponents, it can be crushing, against others, damaging. The power remains active, as makurayami draws energy from the surrounding world and redirects it.
Downside: Can be blocked by stronger opponents with minimal damage, or dodged.
Name: "Shimerumon" (Closing Gate)
State: Shikai
Terms of Usage: Each aspect is activated individually.
Description: While it is only one ability, there are different ways the ability can be used. As aforementioned, Makurayami has the ability to control spirit energy, and as such, he can take energy and redirect it. Each of these aspects do that: Each one takes the unique energy of a skill, and in a manner redirects it, by dispersing it into the environment, blocking an opponets ability to use that ability.
1.) Yurumeru (to slow down) - This aspect blocks an opponents ability to use any type of flash step, regardless of the species. While in effect, the opponent can only move at normal speed.
2.) Seijaku (silence) - This aspect blocks an opponents ability to use magic, be it Kido, cero, etc... While in effect the opponent can not use this ability.
3.) Nurikomere (seal) - This aspects blocks an opponents initial release, restricting them to the use of a sealed form of their weapon, or to go all out and release their full power, which can quickly drain an opponents reiatsu, regardless of species.
4.) Tatakikowase (shatter) - This aspect is a greater version of the previous ability. It blocks an opponents ability to use banki/release form, and returns the opponent to sealed form. The opponent can re-release shikai if they have power left, but full release is impossible.
Downside: Only one ability can be used at a time in this form. Once a new one is activated, the old one is opened back up.

Name: Kontenhashira
State: Bankai
Terms of Usage: Activated with Bankai Command.
Description: This ability is a combination of all the shikai aspects in one. It shows the true raw power of makurayami.
Once activated the battlefield is enclosed in a seal, formed by four pillars with rise to the heavens. These four pillars control the seal, and are connected to Hajime.
Upone release, all abilities other than sealed form of weapon are blocked, for both opponents and Hajime. Makurayami is then released, and sinks into the ground, shattering into ten different blades which rise from the ground. These blades appear all over the battlefield, and can only be pulled from the ground by Hajime, as they are connected to him.
each blade equals a 10 percent boost to Hajime's power, and as a blade breaks during combat, the power is absorbed into the others.
In effect, if 9 blades break, down to the last one, it would be a 100% boost, causing an opponent to face the equivalent of two of Hajime.
Now, on the fair side, even though an opponent must move at normal speed, and can only fight with a sealed weapon, the opponents still has access to their own power levels; however as the battle grows on, and opponents tire, Hajime gets stronger.
Downside: this ability is relative. Weaker opponents will not face the strongest hajime, as they cannot break the blades, while stronger must face more challenge. Should the Bankai break the abilities will bne released, but to do so, hajime and the pillars must fall.
::Compressed Bankai::
Only the strongest of Shinigami possess this control over their bankai.
The compressed form is a devastating attack which can bring even a Vasto Lorde to one knee.
The form can be activated anytime after the blades have been broken, to the last one.
channeling in all his power to one blade, hajime can stab the blade into the ground, and step back from the seal, being released from it to the outside world, while the opponent is still trapped within.
Slowly the area of the seal begins to shrink until finally it is compressed into the form of the opponent, at which time, it explodes with the violent force of all of Hajime's doubled power.
There is no downside, as if you make it this far, you are powerful enough that you will either die, or be brought down, severely weakened.
Once the explsion has subsided, Makurayami is returned to sealed form to sleep.
