He is the type of person who looks for strong opponents to fight even within his own organization; this was especially true when he was a part of Soul Society. When in his resurrection, Thasti turns into a real sadist and plays and tortures his opponents until they beg for mercy, yet he usually doesn’t grant them their wish, and just lets them bleed to death. Because of the betrayal of his fellow division members and other shinigami from SS. He has a natural hatred for arrcanar because Thasti seems them as creatures that kill innocent people for food and use them as livestock. Thasti could care less about humans, Quincies.

Thasti Col was born in the 80th District of the Rukongai. A rough place, that much was known from the time of his birth. And of course with no real family to turn to, he resorted to just being a loner. He didn't like how the other kids and even some adults acted. They ran around like they owned the place and forced people to bend to their will. Thasti was better than that though. He saw something wrong, and he didn't really go out of his way to help it, but he sent a message not to Duck with him anytime they rolled around in his area. Thasti would stand up to them when they demanded money and end up taking theirs instead. He'd fight them off until either he could no longer fight or they quit. It was against these types of people that Thasti developed his cruel and tortuous behavior He refused to take that kind of treatment from anyone, and was eventually left alone by everyone in the district unless he confronted them first. It was when he was coming out a local hut that he heard about the Gotei 13 and its Shinigami Academy, and wondered if there were any strong people there, because nobody in the 80th Rukon would even pick a fight with him anymore. From his fights in his early life, Thasti had become a master of street fighting.
Academy
It took him two tries to finally enter the academy. The first time at the age of 400 he was rejected due to lack of physical performance. So he worked on that for a eight decades and returned, which forced hin to move to a different district where nobody knew his name. He would do this about five times over the eighty years. During these years Thasti became a lot cruel and had left victims that had scars develop over their bodies as well as mental scars. Upon his second coming at the age of 480 he passed and was allowed in. People were glad to see him leave the districts for they no longer had to live in fear of him. He knew that know that he had entered the academy he would have to learn to restrain himself.
Thasti didn't care about not being missed, and just looked forward to meeting people stronger than him. Thasti quickly picked up Zanjutsu. He was complimented on his natural affinity for the blade. It was rare not to see the boy in the sparing area practicing his forms. This caught the eye of some Divisions already. After Zanjutsu, his best class was Kido. He picked up on spells easy enough, and performed them with ease after learning them. While there wasn't an affinity for it, there was an unnatural talent. Following that was Hakuda. It was here that Thasti met most of the strong opponents he was waiting for. He got bruised to no end in both Hakuda and Zanjutsu, but it never brought him down, instead it added fuel to the fire, and forced him to train harder. His worst (note HE is not shitty in it, it just wasn't his best class) class was Shunpo. He wasn't bad in it by any means. But compared to his other classes he could improve quite a bit.

Thasti found comfort and friendship within the dragon spirit of his Zanpakuto, which was quite rare considering he never trusted anybody, yet this person seemed closer than a friend. With him in his hands Thasti would practice zanjutsu every day and every night until his arms were tired. When not practicing the two of them would think of ways to prolong the death of their victims. On his fourth year at the academy, Thasti heard his Spirit speak his name. The male grinned at this and upon proving he was fit for graduation, left the Academy.

After finally graduating from the Academy, he was quickly picked up by the 11th Division. It seemed there was some interest in the male across the board, but the other divisions had heard rumours of his personality so stayed away from him, which allowed for Thasti an easy entrance into the 11th division. His love of battle showed every time he was sent out on missions with his group, and every time the others came back with minor injuries while Thasti came back covered in blood and smiles on his face. He made no friends in that Division, although bonds based upon a love of battle are very fragile as Thasti found out later on in life, when his so called friends left him to die on a mission.
He ran with the 11th Division for a couple hundred years and as he did he grew more and more battle hungry. The more he hungered for battle, the more he thought that the current captain was not fit to lead the division. It took Thasti a good 400 years to reach Lt, the Captian's right hand and most trusted fighter. By this time, Thasti had learned how to activate his Bankai, even if it was at a beginners level. Thasti waited another 320 years before challenging the current captain to a fight. Thasti waited this long for he wanted to learn how the captain fought, his weaknesses, his strong points; everything just to win the fight. With the right number of witness gathered, Thasti initiated the fight. The fight lasted only half an hour with the former captain dead at Thasti's feet, dismembered and with blood everywhere. With the fight over, Thasti had become the head of the 11th Division.

Now that Thasti was the head of the 11th division, everything became more ruthless and deadly. Recruits were pitted against each other to the death if they wanted to join. He made sure his members where strong both physically and mentally. Yet what he did not know but should have seen coming was his eventual demise. Members of the 11th division were not happy with Thasti as their head or the way he did things. It took members of the division 36 years to find someone in the other divisions to help them stage a coup, and the division that would help them was the 12th division. Throughout the 36 years, the 12th division secretly tampered with hollow DNA and Thasti’s DNA that was acquired when he wasn’t paying attention. The experiment went wrong many times, and none that were every discussed again. Just before the anniversary of Thasti’s captainship, Thasti’s vice-captain, the head of the coup empty the veil containing a mix of hollow and the captain’s DNA into his cup of tea. While Thasti was drinking the tea, he was told by his vice that there was a hollow siting in the world of the living. Eager to leave, he grabbed his zanpakuto, and asked the vice-captain to come with him.
Arriving in the world of the living, Thasti saw no hollow. Asking where his vice-captain where the hollow was, Thasti was answered with the VC’s sword tip near his face and said “closer than you think Captain.” It was seconds after that statement that Thasti began to transform into a hollow. The first part to appear was the mask, but the 11th division members that had appeared to strike their captain down didn’t care, which would be their downfall. The crazy Thasti grabbed the hilt of his sword and sliced in half two of his attackers. While the body was defending itself, Thasti’s soul had gone to the world of his zanpakuto. The throne room was covered in slashes, and Joker was hiding behind the throne. Sitting on the throne was a white version of Thasti, yet something was off. When the white one stood up, Thasti saw what it was. The arms and legs were longer, like the joints connecting them were dislocated. The hollow side attacked first, putting Thasti on the defensive.

The fight lasted for what seemed like hours, with the two of them trading blows, yet very few of those strikes hit their target. Taking a risk, Thasti used a kido spell to distract his hollow side to catch it off guard, yet when he finished his incantation his hollow side finished one as well, causing an explosion. Lifting his head up, he saw a white arm through the smoke. He had used the smoke as a cover, while Thasti was enjoying his laugh of finding a worthy opponent. Feeling weak in the knees, Thasti fell, and watched as his hollow side walked up to him with a smile of pleasure, the same one Thasti gave when he was about to kill his opponent. Gritting his teeth, Thasti raised his right hand and stabbed the hollow side on his left side. With that the fight would have been over, but Thasti’s hollow side had one last trick up his sleeve. While Thasti was inhaling, Thasti’s hollow jabbed his hand into Thasti’s mouth and pried his mouth open to its limit. Cutting himself up with his free hand, the hollow, feed Thasti the individual cut up parts until all was left as the hand that held open the mouth, which slid into the gabbing mouth and down Thasti’s throat.
With the fight now over, Thasti’s soul returned to his body, felt the skin of a hollow fall off of his body. Using some of his remaining strength, Thasti caught the mask that fell of his face. Turning it over he saw a hole the size of a small tear on the left check, raising his left hand to the same cheek, he felt a smooth surface. Tracing the smooth surface, he noticed that it was the same shape as the gape in the mask. Thasti wasn’t sure what this meant, but within the coming years he would find out. Another thing that he would eventually find out is that he no longer could use Bankai.
Thasti now wonders the world of the living, killing shinigami and arrcanar alike. He has been doing this for the past 100 years while learning how to control his resurrection.
RP Sample:
Thasti had been walking for about three days when he had been ambushed by a group of 10 arrancar. It looks like it was his lucky day, it had been awhile killed something, and Thasti was overdue for some blood. Slowly removing his sword from its sheath, Thasti watched the group carefully with a smile on his face. Time felt like it was standing still, and there was nothing that could happen to make it speed up, but then again someone always had to start the fight. Jumping backwards, Thasti spins his body, taking the arrancar behind him by surprise and easily cuts him down. As soon as they saw that one of them went down, they all pounced on Thasti. Jumping out of the all at once attack, he lands behind another one and stabs him through the chest. Pulling his sword out Thasti felt the warm blood of his opponent spray onto his face. Sliding his tongue across his lips Thasti tasted the nutrient rich blood. Now this is what Thasti lived for. He didn’t have time to watch the corpse to fall to the ground, and brought up his sword just quick enough to stop a row of three claws from hitting his face. Jumping away from his attackers, Thasti backed into another group of three arrcanars. It looked like they had him surrounded again. Well let’s see how they like this he thought “It’s time to entertain Joker,” The card on top of the hilt popped off, while the one imprinted on his sheath peeled off and started to float around, while two rectangles appeared on the blade of his sword. Grabbing the black joker from his right side and placed it in the rectangle near the hilt. “Black wave” His blade started to pulse black. Swinging the sword vertically, the black pulse slides of the sword and hits the small group of arrcanars in front of him, blowing their bodies to individual pieces. Thasti would marvel at the destruction of his foes, but first he needed to finish the reminder of these pitiful arrcanar.
Seeing two arrcanar attack him on his right side, thinking his hardened ability would protect him, Thasti holds out his left arm to block the attack, but instead the claws of the arrcanar dig into his skin. Pulling away from the two, Thasti sees the other four arrcanars gather behind the first two. “Let’s finish this. Let’s show them true entertainment” When Thasti spoke the bankai release phrase what happened next he wasn’t expecting, instead of his bankai appearing, Thasti’s joints had been dislocated and his clothes now hugged his body. But the strangest part was that his field of vision was slightly reduced and he could hear his own breathing. Thasti stumbled around as he tried to take a step forward. Was this a side-affect when his hollow side forced Thasti to swallow him? Trying to swing his right arm, he saw it fly right in front of him and stab the arrcanar in the head. Liking the attack speed of this form, Thasti decided to give into his urges and finish the fight by going on his usually rampage.
Hollowfication: Thasti won against his hollow, but with his last bit of energy, the hollow forced Thasti to eat him and fused with the inner soul of Thasti

Sealed Appearance:The blade of the katana is blood red, the hilt is black, and on the very top of the hilt is the red joker from a deck of playing cards. On the sheath is an imprint of the black joker. The blade is 16 inches long
Zanpakuto Spirit Description: The spirit of the zanpakuto is a court Joker that has gone a little crazy. He is dressed in loose clothing, with the clothing in a variety of colours, which range from blue to red and all shades in between. He has a really wide smile that stretches from one side of his face to the other. He laughs constantly like he keeps telling himself a really funny joke. He holds in one hand a deck of cards full of Jokers and in the other hand three throwing knifes. Most people’s first judgment is that he is insane.

Released Appearance: The joker card from the top of the hilt pops off and the joker card from the sheath peels off and float around Thasti. The sword now has two empty rectangles on each side of the blade one near the hilt and the other just above the tip of the blade. These rectangles are just big and deep enough for playing cards. Each rectangle can only hold one joker at a time. The colour of the blade remains the same.

The tips of these knifes are tipped in a liquid that causes the opponent to hallucinate. Thasti’s joints dislocate and are only attached by his muscles. This doubles his reach, and his speed. The only joints that aren’t dislocated are the shoulder joints and the joints connected to the femur. His head also hangs low, almost to where his collarbone is. His head moves from side to side. Thasti is also always smiling while in resurrection, just like he has gone insane.

Released Appearance:The white tear on Thasti’s face grows into a white mask and under both eyes are red outlines in the shape of tears that trail down to the middle of his cheek. His pants turn white and hug his skin tightly and there are red stripes on the left leg and black stripes on the right leg. The torso part of Thasti’s shirt tightens and turns white, while the sleeves also turn black and red. Terms of Usage: The red joker is inserted into one of the two rectangles
Description: A red mist seeps out of the sword and anything else that is cut by the sword. This mist causes anybody who breathes it in to hallucinate. The effects are different for everybody. Thasti is immune to the mist.
A downside is that the wider the mist has to spread from a single source the less effective it is. The hallucinations only last for about four posts if Captain, 5 if Vice-captain, and 6 posts if of lower rank.

Description: The blade beats like a heart, and with a swing of the sword a red arc slides off the blade and slowly dissolves as it makes its way to the target. The full red arc has the cutting force is enough to cut through three diamonds each right behind the other.
The arc itself cannot follow the target, and the particles only last for four posts. The particles do not cause hallucinations.

Description: One of the throwing knifes split into four, which are thrown at the opponent. These knifes will seek out their target until caught. When the target is caught the four knifes split and clasp onto the wrist and ankles, holding the person still in midair. The opponent then starts to rotate clockwise, and continues to spin faster and faster. While spinning the other dagger now splits into four. Thasti then throws the four daggers at the target, aiming for the head. (This is not a one shot kill, considering it is very hard to hit a small target on a rotating body.) The tech ends when all four daggers are thrown. If the target has breathed in the parlaying gas it is easier to capture them. If hit, the target takes in the hallucination liquid, they will start to hallucinate.

Cutting himself up with his free hand, the hollow, feed Thasti the individual cut up parts until all was left as the hand that held open the mouth, which slid into the gabbing mouth and down Thasti’s throat.
With the fight now over, Thasti’s soul returned to his body, felt the skin of a hollow fall off of his body. Using some of his remaining strength, Thasti caught the mask that fell of his face. Turning it over he saw a hole the size of a small tear on the left check, raising his left hand to the same cheek, he felt a smooth surface. Tracing the smooth surface, he noticed that it was the same shape as the gape in the mask. Thasti wasn’t sure what this meant, but within the coming years he would find out. Another thing that he would eventually find out is that he no longer could use Bankai.
Thasti now wonders the world of the living, killing shinigami and arrcanar alike. He has been doing this for the past 100 years while learning how to control his resurrection.
RP Sample:
Thasti had been walking for about three days when he had been ambushed by a group of 10 arrancar. It looks like it was his lucky day, it had been awhile killed something, and Thasti was overdue for some blood. Slowly removing his sword from its sheath, Thasti watched the group carefully with a smile on his face. Time felt like it was standing still, and there was nothing that could happen to make it speed up, but then again someone always had to start the fight. Jumping backwards, Thasti spins his body, taking the arrancar behind him by surprise and easily cuts him down. As soon as they saw that one of them went down, they all pounced on Thasti. Jumping out of the all at once attack, he lands behind another one and stabs him through the chest. Pulling his sword out Thasti felt the warm blood of his opponent spray onto his face. Sliding his tongue across his lips Thasti tasted the nutrient rich blood. Now this is what Thasti lived for. He didn’t have time to watch the corpse to fall to the ground, and brought up his sword just quick enough to stop a row of three claws from hitting his face. Jumping away from his attackers, Thasti backed into another group of three arrcanars. It looked like they had him surrounded again. Well let’s see how they like this he thought “It’s time to entertain Joker,” The card on top of the hilt popped off, while the one imprinted on his sheath peeled off and started to float around, while two rectangles appeared on the blade of his sword. Grabbing the black joker from his right side and placed it in the rectangle near the hilt. “Black wave” His blade started to pulse black. Swinging the sword vertically, the black pulse slides of the sword and hits the small group of arrcanars in front of him, blowing their bodies to individual pieces. Thasti would marvel at the destruction of his foes, but first he needed to finish the reminder of these pitiful arrcanar.
Seeing two arrcanar attack him on his right side, thinking his hardened ability would protect him, Thasti holds out his left arm to block the attack, but instead the claws of the arrcanar dig into his skin. Pulling away from the two, Thasti sees the other four arrcanars gather behind the first two. “Let’s finish this. Let’s show them true entertainment” When Thasti spoke the bankai release phrase what happened next he wasn’t expecting, instead of his bankai appearing, Thasti’s joints had been dislocated and his clothes now hugged his body. But the strangest part was that his field of vision was slightly reduced and he could hear his own breathing. Thasti stumbled around as he tried to take a step forward. Was this a side-affect when his hollow side forced Thasti to swallow him? Trying to swing his right arm, he saw it fly right in front of him and stab the arrcanar in the head. Liking the attack speed of this form, Thasti decided to give into his urges and finish the fight by going on his usually rampage.
Hollowfication: Thasti won against his hollow, but with his last bit of energy, the hollow forced Thasti to eat him and fused with the inner soul of Thasti
Hollow Manifestation: Same as released appearance, but the torso of the shirt is now blood red.
Your Zanpakuto:
Zanpakuto Name: Joker
Sealed Appearance:The blade of the katana is blood red, the hilt is black, and on the very top of the hilt is the red joker from a deck of playing cards. On the sheath is an imprint of the black joker. The blade is 16 inches long
Zanpakuto Spirit Description: The spirit of the zanpakuto is a court Joker that has gone a little crazy. He is dressed in loose clothing, with the clothing in a variety of colours, which range from blue to red and all shades in between. He has a really wide smile that stretches from one side of his face to the other. He laughs constantly like he keeps telling himself a really funny joke. He holds in one hand a deck of cards full of Jokers and in the other hand three throwing knifes. Most people’s first judgment is that he is insane.

Shikai Release Phrase: It’s time to entertain Joker
Released Appearance: The joker card from the top of the hilt pops off and the joker card from the sheath peels off and float around Thasti. The sword now has two empty rectangles on each side of the blade one near the hilt and the other just above the tip of the blade. These rectangles are just big and deep enough for playing cards. Each rectangle can only hold one joker at a time. The colour of the blade remains the same.

Descriptions:A small stream of yellow gas seeps out of the mouth gap. This gas has a parlaying effect on anybody who breaths it in. The body is parlayed but the nervous system is still functional allowing people to still feel pain. In both hands, Thasti holds a throwing knife with a very pointy tip. The tips of these knifes are tipped in a liquid that causes the opponent to hallucinate. Thasti’s joints dislocate and are only attached by his muscles. This doubles his reach, and his speed. The only joints that aren’t dislocated are the shoulder joints and the joints connected to the femur. His head also hangs low, almost to where his collarbone is. His head moves from side to side. Thasti is also always smiling while in resurrection, just like he has gone insane.

Released Appearance:The white tear on Thasti’s face grows into a white mask and under both eyes are red outlines in the shape of tears that trail down to the middle of his cheek. His pants turn white and hug his skin tightly and there are red stripes on the left leg and black stripes on the right leg. The torso part of Thasti’s shirt tightens and turns white, while the sleeves also turn black and red. The right arm has red spots, while the left arm has black horizontal lines.Other Changes: {Environment wise, changes that has nothing to do with your characters appearance}

Terms of Usage:The black joker is inserted into one of the two rectangles
Description: The blade glows black and when swung slides of the sword and flies towards the opponent in the shape of an arc. After flying for a few feet, splits into three black blades of energy. When they hit something the explosion is as big and powerful as one C4 bomb.
These blades cannot follow their target.
Name: Red Mist
State: Shiaki
Terms of Usage: The red joker is inserted into one of the two rectangles
Description: A red mist seeps out of the sword and anything else that is cut by the sword. This mist causes anybody who breathes it in to hallucinate. The effects are different for everybody. Thasti is immune to the mist.
A downside is that the wider the mist has to spread from a single source the less effective it is. The hallucinations only last for about four posts if Captain, 5 if Vice-captain, and 6 posts if of lower rank.

Terms of Usage: Both jokers are inserted into either rectangle, so that both rectangles are occupied
Description: The blade beats like a heart, and with a swing of the sword a red arc slides off the blade and slowly dissolves as it makes its way to the target. The individual particles are sharp and when someone touches them, feel like they have been pricked by a threading needle. The full red arc has the cutting force is enough to cut through three diamonds each right behind the other.
The arc itself cannot follow the target, and the particles only last for four posts. The particles do not cause hallucinations.

Description: A red blast of reaitsu that splits into four and homes in on the target.

Terms of Usage: Thasti has to wave a finger for the person to start rotating
Description: One of the throwing knifes split into four, which are thrown at the opponent. These knifes will seek out their target until caught. When the target is caught the four knifes split and clasp onto the wrist and ankles, holding the person still in midair. The opponent then starts to rotate clockwise, and continues to spin faster and faster. While spinning the other dagger now splits into four. Thasti then throws the four daggers at the target, aiming for the head. (This is not a one shot kill, considering it is very hard to hit a small target on a rotating body.) The tech ends when all four daggers are thrown. If the target has breathed in the parlaying gas it is easier to capture them. If hit, the target takes in the hallucination liquid, they will start to hallucinate.
Only one person can be caught per use.
