Personality: Thasti is a calm and cold-hearted individual. Being raised in the 80th Rukon district on the West side did this to most people, Col was no exception. He wanted to live so he discarded most of his emotions, except for anger, hate, and a love for money. If anybody pissed of Thasti, they had just bought a one way ticket to an early death. Even though he is a cold-hearted individual, does not mean he doesn't think things through. Just the opposite. He will kill certain people just to install fear in others. His love for fights and money is what keeps him wanting to see each day. There is only one person that Thasti will put his trust in and that is the spirit of his Zanpkatou.

Story:

Childhood

Thasti Col was born in the 80th District of the Rukongai. A rough place, that much was known from the time of his birth. And of course with no real family to turn to, he resorted to just being a loner. He didn't like how the other kids and even some adults acted. They ran around like they owned the place and forced people to bend to their will. Thasti was better than that though. He saw something wrong, and he didn't really go out of his way to help it, but he sent a message not to Duck with him anytime they rolled around in his area. Thasti would stand up to them when they demanded money and end up taking theirs instead. He'd fight them off until either he could no longer fight or they quit. He refused to take that kind of treatment from anyone, and was eventually left alone by everyone in the district unless he confronted them first. It was when he was coming out a local hut that he heard about the Gotei 13 and its Shinigami Academy, and wondered if there were any strong people there, because nobody in the 80th Rukon would even pick a fight with him anymore. From his fights in his early life, Thasti had become a master of street fighting.

Academy
It took him two tries to finally enter the academy. The first time at the age of 400 he was rejected due to lack of physical performance. So he worked on that for a eight decades and returned, which forced hin to move to a different district where nobody knew his name. he would do this about five times over the eighty years. Upon his second coming at the age of 480 he passed and was allowed in. People were glad to see him leave the districts for they no longer had to live in fear of him.

Thasti didn't care about not being missed, and just looked forward to meeting people stronger than him. Thasti quickly picked up Zanjutsu. He was complimented on his natural affinity for the blade. It was rare not to see the boy in the sparing area practicing his forms. This caught the eye of some Divisions already. After Zanjutsu, his best class was Kido. He picked up on spells easy enough, and performed them with ease after learning them. While there wasn't an affinity for it, there was an unnatural talent. Following that was Hakuda. It was here that Thasti met most of the strong opponents he was waiting for. He got bruised to no end in both Hakuda and Zanjutsu, but it never brought him down, instead it added fuel to the fire, and forced him to train harder. His worst (note HE is not shitty in it, it just wasn't his best class) class was Shunpo. He wasn't bad in it by any means. But compared to his other classes he could improve quite a bit.

Thasti's Zanpakuto Spirit came to him half way through his first year at the Academy. While he could hear his voice, his name was lost to him. He spoke to him every night though regardless. Thasti found comfort and friendship within the dragon spirit of his Zanpakuto, which was quite rare considering he never trusted anybody, yet this person seemed closer than a friend. With him in his hands Thasti would practice zanjutsu every day and every night until his arms were tired. On his fourth year at the academy, Thasti heard his Spirit speak his name. The male grinned at this and upon proving he was fit for graduation, left the Academy.

Division

After finally graduating from the Academy, he was quickly picked up by the 11th Division. It seemed there was some interest in the male across the board. Of course his abnormally high marks in Zanjutsu caused the 11th Division to fight, and win, for him tooth and nail. Finally though they had him, and his love of battle showed every time he was sent out on missions with his group. He made a few friends in that Division, although bonds based upon a love of battle are very fragile as Thasti found out later on in life, when his so called friends left him to die on a mission.

He ran with the 11th Division for a couple hundred years and as he did he grew more and more battle hungry. The more he hungered for battle, the more he thought that the current captain was not fit to lead the division. Sure this division was about fighting, but what if they could make some money while doing it. It took Thasti a good 600 years to reach Lt, the Captian's right hand and most trusted fighter. By this time, Thasti had learned how to activate his Bankai, even if it was at a beginners level. Thasti waited another 320 years before challenging the current captain to a fight. Thasti waited this long for he wanted to learn how the captain fighted, his weakness, his strong points. Everything just to win the fight. Witht the right number of witness gathered, Thasti initiated the fight. The fight lasted only half an hour with the former captain dead at Thasti's feet. With the fight over, Thasti had become the head of the 11th Division

Reform

Now as head of the 11th Division, Thasti could change the division to how he thought it should be ran. All members were to stay within the division barracks unless assigned a mission, with their pay revolving around how well they performed and the difficulty of the mission. There was to be no loyalty to the other divisions, and rarely to the members of the same division. If there was even a whisper heard about moving to another division or giving another division their loyalty, the person was threatened with death, and usually didn't last to see the sun rise the next morning. Thasti had made the 11th division of ruthless mercenaries. With this, Shinigami and other races who didn't want to fight could hire them for a certain price, which by no means was low. It has been rumoured that Thasti himself kills off the members who still hold onto the bond of loyalty. Thasti also allowed his division members to use kido, which had been forbidden in the division for so long This reform took a hundred years to complete.

RP Sample:

Thasti smiled when he heard his Captain say that all the required 200 witness were here to watch the fight between their Lt and Captain. "Do you agree that this fight will only end when there is only one of us left standing?" Thasti yelled across the makeshift arena. The Captain yelled back the answer Col wanted to hear. He didn't have to ask his second question about interfernce for anybody who did knew that they would be cut down by either of them for doing so. Both of them smiled as someone in the crowd yelled start.

Their blades clashed in the centre of the arena, both of them not giving their opponent an inch from where they were standing. Pushing back from his captain, Thasti fired off a red cannon, which he used as a distraction to get behind the captain. The Captain sensed Thasti behind him, and blocked his swing, what he didn't see what Thasti's fingers pointing at him, and the sudden release of White lightning that pierced his right shoulder. Moving away from his Captain, he watched as he held his wounded shoulder. Weak and Pathetic was all Thasti thought, before speaking his release phrase. "Burn Thy Eney to Ashes." Thasti's crystal sword glowed and changed to a wider sword with a missing centre piece and connected at the top. The dragon that become a legend within the division laid across Thasti's shoulder. No one in the division had yet to see his Bankai, and he wanted to keep it that way.

Charging towards the Captain, Thasti prepared a fire shield right in front of his right shoulder. Upon reaching the captain, Thasti swung his sword horizontally, knowing that the captain would catch the blade with his good hand and swing vertically to attack Thasti's right shoulder, where the fire shield was waiting for him.

Description: Thasti's skin is now harder to penetrate, anything below Shikai level has a slim chance of piercing his skin.
Downside: Less effecitve against Shikai and higher

Active abilities

Name: Fire Birds
Description: A flock of 16 birds appear around Thasti and hone in on their target. The burn anything in their path. If they touch anything that is not their target, they loss 1/8th of their orginal strength. Burn is minor. Able to use in Bankai, with double the birds and burns are now mild.
Downside: Once visible they cannot be moved

Name: Flame Slash
Description: Fire engulfs the blade, and with a single swing, the fire in the shape of an arc flies towards its target. Able to use in Bankaia. Power is tripled
Downside: Does not hone or chase

Name: Fire traps
Description: traps made out of fire are set around the battefield, that explode either on contact or when Thasti, adds some of his reaitsu. The traps vary from, cyclones, to explosions and spikes.
Downside: Traps cannot be moved once set

Description: Thasti is now immune to all his attacks with reduced fire damage from the enemy

Description: Anything that Thasti touches if flesh gets a burn, if something more flammable like cloth or paper catches on fire

Description: Thasti controls the dragon, with its main attack being fireball

Active abilities

Name: Fire Tornado
Description: When the sword is swung, two 50 feet tall and thin toronados are produced. These tornados hone in on their target. When the tornados, collide with the environment there is a small explosion with a radius of 25 feet. When the tornados collide with each other the explosion radius increases to 75 feet. When the tornados hit their target, the person is trapped inside for five seconds and recieves mildliy serious burns. When activated Thasti, has to wait one post before the tornados can be fired, with a two post cooldown.
Downside: Do not have the ability to chase

Name: Transfomation
Description: The dragon is able to transform into a weapon of Thasti's choice, giving him a second weapon
Downside: Defensive items are not possilbe

Name: Fire storm
Description: Rain with the attibute of fire falls from the sky burning whatever it touches. The fire is 110 degrees C. The storm has a range of half a football field or 50 yards. The storm lasts for four posts. It takes two posts for enough clouds to gather.
Downside: Hits everybody and everything

Name: Fire cleansing
Description: Fire appears over Thasti's wounds, and speed up the healing process, and removes anything that could have snuck into the wound. This includes poisons.
Downside: Not all contaminates in the wound are removed. Cannot regenerate limbs.


Mushasune: You know this makes your zampaktou seem more like a healing type zanpakuto. Just so that you know your innate ability should correspond to what fighting style your seeking out. juding from your techs below however, you also seem to be more of a defensive or trapper kind of shinigami. Personally, 'Mirage' needs more detail. How long does it affect the target, what if the target is a higher level, does it take a number of posts to activate itself onto its target? etc. this is only for shikai though.

Mushasune: your Bankai is slightely unfair to fire users. being completely immune to ALL fire moves reduces them to nothing, even another Captain level whom may have had a fire type element. i would say your completely immune to YOUR fire moves while taking less damage from other fire moves, but not being immune. Also your first tech for bankai requires two blades. from my understanding, you still hvae one until you use your dragon to turn into the blade. if so than state that you only can use that ability after using your dragon to transform. ALSO, that brings me to the point that being able to control your Dragon should be an passive ability. and than, finally, how hot is the fire rain?

How long in posts will can the enemy be trapped inside the tornado?
How many tornado's are there exactly? Sorry, you didnt really state it clearly, you just said one tornado hits another so on.
I think a charge duration and cool down would be appropriate as well.

For how long I didn't put it in posts, i put it in time which is five seconds, so not very long. : When the tornados hit their target, the person is trapped inside for [b]five seconds and recieves mildliy serious burns. I did this considering, if they were in there for a whole post, depending on their level would either be dead, or have to get rushed away for treatment right away.
