Breaking

The sun setting off in the distance was only offset by the trees that tried to hide it. The sky was clear with very few clouds to ruin it. But out of this, a single drop of rain fell from the sky. As soon as it crashed onto the ground, it blew up into a rather large puddle and in a torrent, it blew upward toward the sky and then splashed back to the ground. Lee stood with Leiko's sword held in front of her to halt her from moving. He released one end of the sword so that she could move freely.

Leiko's grasp tightened around her sword, and she fell to the ground away from Lee. Her eyes darted around the scene, taking in unfamiliar sights before resting her eyes back on Lee. "Where is this!? Where is my captain?! I demand you bring me back to the Squad 2 barracks immediately!"

Lee watched as Leiko feel to the ground and seemed rather calm of the fact. He just simply stared down at her as she gave her demands and when she spoke of returning her, he simply nodded. He then took a step toward her and leaned forward as he held his left hand down toward her lightly as he spoke
"I think we got off on the wrong foot, how about we just calm down and I'll take you back to your captain. I was just a little distracted at the time, I didn't mean to take you with me, I meant that as a joke to my younger brother."

Leiko was surprised at his sudden gentle approach to her, though didn't show it. She let silence linger in the air for a moment before speaking again. "I don't believe you. My captain doesn't trust you anymore." She then looked away, at the ground, before reaching up and taking his hand, struggling to pull herself to a standing position. "You aren't an idiot. You know I can't fight after using all my energy on my shikai like that..." Her magenta orbs darted back up to meet his eyes. "If you truly wish to be honorable, then be a gentleman and bring me back to my squad. We can fight some other day when I'm more lustful for battle. I am but an easy target at this point."

Lee watched as she was more than silent about his sudden change in nature and any normal person would be. She spoke of the disloyalty his brother had toward him now and how she shared the same code. She finally took hold of his hand as he held onto it and pulled her up to her feet as she then spoke of him not being the idiot that she had thought. He then nodded his head toward the easy target portion and then replied
"Oh, yes. I'm sure he will come around in the end. He was always a one track mind kinda guy. As for the transportation back to the squad barracks, just one moment, I have to open the gate... "
As he finished and with little other warning, he let his hand tighten around her own and pulled back as to bring her toward him. His free hand let itself shoot up to grasp the side of her neck
"Now, getting back to a actual serious note. Your not going anywhere till me and you have a little talk."

Leiko couldn't hide her expression as he pulled her closer, eyes widening. "What do you think you're doing?! I must leave this instant! Just open the gate!" She exclaimed, shivering as she felt his hand against her back. Her shoulders stiffened inwards, and she looked up at him fiercely. "I have no time for speaking with you. Release me, you are making me uncomfortable." She stated, trying to keep her composure as she stared straight up at him.

Lee let his hands tighten there grip on the girl as he continued to stare down at her. He let his Sapphire eyes glare down at hers and then listened to what it was that she was saying and replied in kind
"Uncomfortable? Oh no."
He moved his face down and closer to hers as he then spoke once more
"You think that anything you say is going to actually have me do anything? Your going to do something before I even think to let you go anywhere."
He released her as his hands slide from her own and over her shoulder lightly and up along her neck, to the base of her lower jaw, along it to the tip of her chin as he let his words slither forth
"Come now, what do you really think you can possibly do? Do you think that you can fight back? Do you think that even if you get your power back that you'll be able to stand on equal ground? Do you even want to stand on equal ground? How did it feel when all that spiritual power flooded over you? "

Standing in the distance of the area, was a man, about 30 in age. He had the same colored hair as Lee, and soft blue eyes. He stared at the duo from the distance. It wasn't hard to tell who it was however.

Leiko inhaled sharply as he touched her face. She reached up and brushed his hand away, "I am going to say something that is very rare for me." She furrowed her brows slightly. "Please, please stop touching me. If you're going to give me a sound beating and kill me, then just get it over with already."

Lee watched as she removed his hand and then he slowly let it rest in the air as she then slowly nodded his head and paused as he then spoke
"Oh, well. Asking like that, I'm going to make sure that I come up with something just as nice..."
He slowly removed hands hands from her and turned his head toward the side and spoke
"Release."
In an instant, his shikai seemed to appear over him but in the same moment, he was gone. And not even a breath later, he was standing in front of her yet again, holding the man by the neck and his other hand rested on Leiko's shoulder as he spoke
"Leiko, I want you to meet someone. This is my father, Suzaku Minamoto. He used to be so strong. So, how about we talk a little more about how your going to help me?"

Leiko looked between Lee and the man he claimed was his father, arching a brow. After being silent for a moment, she answered him. "I don't care if this is your father. Its YOUR relative, what do I care if you hurt him? You'd just be hurting the Captain-" She then paused, thinking over that statement and frowning. "I see. Then I am in no position to refuse you if it means someone my captain cherishes will be obliterated..."

Lee slowly let a light smile cross itself over his face as she slowly but surely came to the realization of how important the man was. He then turned his attention toward the older man as the shikai faded from his body, all but the arm that held onto the man and then spoke
"And dear old dad always loved Mukuro so much. I'm sure he would break down into a useless pile if something were to happen to him. Don't move now."
He looked over toward Leiko and drew his hand up into the air and then after a pause, he let it come down to try and land itself again her cheek.

Leiko watched his hand reach back, then fly towards her. Before she knew it, her head jerked to the side, a stinging pain taking over one side of her face. She easily fell to the ground with the power behind the strike. Catching herself with her palms, she landed with a thud. Turning her head up towards him, she inquired "Why are you doing this? How could I possibly be of use to you?"

Lee watched with a watchful eye to see if she was going to try and move from out of the way or try in a feeble attempt to stop his strike. But she was a good listener as she was hit and brought to the ground. He slowly let his head turn as his eyes looked down at her as she spoke. He took a single step toward her and threw the man behind him onto the ground as he knelt down and placed his right hand under her chin as he then replied
"Oh, you can help me more than you think you can. I can go anywhere you can and more. And your going to be my eyes, ears, and hands inside the soul society. So long as you be a good little girl and go on how ever it is that you do and keep an ear to the ground, everything will be alright. If not, I'll make it a point to make the second squad is nothing but a reflection of what happened to the third squad...but there will be nothing left to rebuild and a captainless squad at that. So...are we clear or do I have to kill my father to prove a point?"

Leiko nodded slowly, trying to show no fear against him, though she shivered once again as his fingers grasped her chin. She was extremely loyal to her squad, though she was faced with the possibility of it being decimated if she didn't agree to his terms. "...Fine. I'll play along. I have no choice."

Lee slowly listened to each and every word that came from her lips to make sure that each one was one that he wanted to hear. He let his index finger slide along the bottom of her chin more than once before he slid it free from her and then spoke
"There we go. I knew that I saw something in you. Now, I just need you to remember one small but ever so important detail...don't think you can tell anyone about our little pact. I'm going to be watching you and even if someone does guess right, you better make sure that tongue of yours does what its supposed to do. The first sign I think I see, even if for a moment, well, I'll let your mind think about just how fast I can go through the soul society and bring the squad to its last breath."

Leiko reached up, grasping his arm as she pulled herself to her feet, struggling to keep her balance still. Finally she let go,grasping her zanpakuto tightly. Her brows furrowed slightly, and she turned her gaze to Lee's chest, staring in hidden melancholy. "Alright... if I must." She sighed disappointedly. This would deffinitely change her Soul Reaper experience.

Lee smile as she took his hand once more and raised up to her feet. He then nodded his head toward her as she agreed willingly and this was something that was good to hear. He slowly moved his left hand over to his right side and then withdrew his Zanpakuto and thrusted it over her shoulder as the point where he struck, the blade seemed to fade. Soon, there was a light that appeared as he twisted the blade, a senkaimon slowly opened behind her and he spoke
"This should drop you off inside the second squad area or at least somewhere in the soul society."
He then placed his free hand onto her shoulder as he pushed her slowly into the senkaimon slow that it would close and he would be to himself and the man.

Leiko's eyes widened as she was pushed into the portal, watching as Lee slowly faded from her sight.

Lee watched as she left and turned around to face the man laying on the ground. He was thinking of interrogating him on his appearance. He took a few steps toward him and then paused as he leaned forward and placed his right hand onto the man's head and in one sudden moment, the head was gone and a small crater replaced the once solid ground. He let himself raise up as he shook his hand off as he started to walk away from the now lifeless body.
