Recruit Training

Inside the barracks of squad 2, is a training area set up for two new recruits of squad 2. Standing in the center is Mukuro Sazumushi, the captain of squad 2. He awaits the arrival of his recruits.

Leiko entered the room, hand on her hip as she did so. Izanami rested around her chest, held against her back with a single string. "Merry meet, Mukuro." She said, her voice soft like windchimes as she addressed him. Her free hand reached up, brushing a stray platinum strand from her face.

Mukuro, who was meditating and speaking to his zanpakto, opened his left eye to see one of his new recruits. He didn't speak but he did signal her to come over there and meditate for awhile as well.

Mukuro opened his left eye again, when a small laugh was heard.
"It's hard to hide your disgruntled aura from me" He said.

Leiko pursed her lips, shoulders stiffening somewhat. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She muttered, completely lying.
After a moment of letting silence linger in the air, she huffed. "How long would you like me to do this, Captain?" She asked, the muscles in her back and legs tensing with her impatience.

Mukuro sighed as he opened his eyes. He finally decided to speak to his recruit.
"You may stop now" He said as he stood up. His purple hair shined in the light from the sun that shone inside the training area.

Leiko's eyes snapped open, she she blinked a few times before turning her head to look face to face with her ally. Her lips parted somewhat, and she questioned to herself why he'd ended it so quickly. "Is there... something wrong, Captain?" The girl asked, fingers tightening around the sheathed blade in her lap.

Mukuro shook his head. He opened his eyes fully, showing his purple colored eyes.
"We should get started now since our other recruit is late" He said as he pulled his zanpakto, both of them, out of there sheaths.

Leiko nodded, getting to her feet and grasping her Zanpakuto in her right hand at her side. "Yes, captain." She said, before lifting her free hand and throwing her hair over her shoulder. She didn't quite know what to expect from him, and wondered who the other recruit was that he spoke of. Letting a neutral expression fall over her face, she tilted her chin down somewhat to look at her captain daringly, though did it only on impulse and not threateningly.

"Alright, Leiko, do you know your zanpaktos name?" He asked. He held his zanpakto when he looked at her. "If you know the name of your zanpakto, the more stronger you will become" He said. "Like mine are twins Lucertola and Salamandra" He said. Leiko watched as he removed his blades and questioned her about her own. She tried to hide her hesitation as she answered. "No, I don't know its name." The tanned girl's face failed to change from its neutral state, just as she'd wanted. Though she was familiar with her captain, she still felt she must be guarded around him. And everyone else, for that matter.

Mukuro looked at her as he sheathed his zanpakto.
"It's time to teach you then" He said softly. "You must focus and enter your inner world, and speak with your zanpakto spirit, only when you pass the 'trials' that it decides to give you, then it will give you its name"
-Referring to Ichigo and how he had to find his red ribbon in a box and then he figured out Zangetsu's name-

Leiko's shoulders stiffened again, and she scowled. She'd been waiting for this; but what if she was rejected by her zanpakuto? Finally, she decided to speak. "How... how do I go about entering my... 'inner world'?"

"Use that meditating we did earlier, but focus more of your reishi into your zanpakto" He said.

Leiko faught a frown. That was exactly the thing she needed to work on, and it just figured that she had to do it to learn her Zanpakuto's name. "Captain..." She began, "Do you mind if... I take a walk to clear my head before we continue?"

Mukuro raised an eyebrow.
"Sure" He said. He gave her a smile as he leaned against a wall, his zanpakto lay next to him as he meditated till her return.

Leiko bowed slightly in thanks, before straightening again. "Thank you, Captain. I'll try to be quick so you won't be kept waiting." She said, turning and walking out of the training room.

Leiko past Kai on the way out of the training room. "see you later" Kai said with a smile. The boy then looked at his captain smiled and said hi.

Mukuro opened his eyes as he sat on the ground.
"So, you've finally made it" He said softly. He rose himself up and looked at his new recruit.
"Welcome to squad 2 Kai" He said with a smile. "I'm guessing you're here for training"

Kai bowed before his captain. "Yes sir he said happily, i wish to become stronger." Kai loved to be as strong as possible so he could protect his fellow shinigami.

"Then, the first step, is do you know your shikai?" He asked.

-as of now, you can't know it due to being a recruit-

Kai looked at his captain in shame "I do not". Kai was ashamed of this fact he was never able to speak to his Zanpaktoue.

"Don't worry, that's what im here for" HE said softly. "We get to 'meditate' so you can focus all your energy into your zanpakto so you can enter your inner world"

Kai knew of all the things he spoke of, but not how to achieve them.
"yes sir" he said excited that he may actually get his shikai soon.
