After a moment he stands to his feet and dusts himself off a bit, hiding the faint trickle of blood on the side of his neck.
Walking over to her, he leans down as unthreateningly as he can and braces himself with his hand, on the chair by her side; with the other he lifts hers and kisses the back of her hand with deepest respect.
Afterwards he takes two steps back before returning upright and saying*
"I do apologize if I have offended you. I meant nothing of the sort. I do believe you misunderstood me completely, and therefore I am sorry.
I simply wanted a demonstration; I made no pretense that i would be able to follow you, I have only heard so much, I wanted to see it first had, and perhaps I was presuming to much, that I might be fortunate enough to. I will take my leave now, and with that wish you well."
