The vice of Sloth is known as not just a lack of the physical...
But a lack of the mind.
The weak are very vulnerable.
They dont have faith in themselves, or others.

Those who have been here before, and lost to the mire, are underneath...
Their faces twisted, revealing the agony of their deaths.
The longer you are there, the more the mud pulls you in.
Like quicksand... it can swallow you completely.
So, how can you overcome this?
By using everything to your ability.
By keeping faith in yourself...
Working to defeat, and using everything to your advantage...
As Belphegor enters your body...
Not only do you feel as if you dont have the will to fight...
But you feel dispair...
No ability to do anything, and you dont care about anything.
The only way to win, is to fight.
So you must overcome the demon.

The Swamp Fairies are not kind, nor helpful.
Nor do their forms stay like this.
The more you fight, the more they transform.
The beautiful fairies will try to keep you comfortable with where you are.
Subconsciously making you comfortable with not doing anything...
The more you fight them, the more they turn...
Trying to frighten you from what could be coming.
Pushing you back into not fighting...
