Are Green Usernames Special

How come I can't send a PM to any green named usernames?
I can send to Kambly and what not.
But not too green members.
What is up with that?
The messages I send to them aren't shown in my sentbox.
Which means they didn't get it.
Which means my important question can't be answered about my signature and avatar.
What the hell?
Do Green names get special treatment?

To answer your question, no they're not special, however the ones you are try to communicate are mods, some of them might have disabled their receiving PM from other members, but i'm not yet that sure, try checking the out box too, i think it goes there.

i've had a full sent box and out box having sent those welcome messages, but they still recieve it anyways.
