We could make pairing banners or something...The deadline should be the day before valentine's...Prize money should be the same as last time + LOVE LOVE LOVE.

NEVER! shunsui and nanao valentines theme would be good but i propose more of a : your fave bleach couple valentines day banner comp. that way there is more room for variation and artistic flare as well as showing us peoples fave couples they wanna see

Anyway, I think that the theme doesn't have to be a pairing, as long as it involves hearts and doesn't spoil anything, then it's fine.
Also, are you planning to make the whole forum pink on Valentine's? lol.

Well, I think that's it's best that you don't use fan art, since we might get complaints from the artists if they ever find out. XD
You could go to planetrenders.net, just grab one with two characters in it. Heck, it could be Aizen and Hirako. Crack FTW.
Another option is to simply skim through all the manga chapters, they usually have the full blown colour images, that's what I did with the current banner.
