Chapter one
Endless whispers
From where I stand, I can
hear the wind crashing onto the leaves; I can hear them speak of life. I feel
so much better just hearing them, looking up and closing my eyes.
In such darkness and
emptiness the eyes give when you close them, many wonders you will discover by
just using your remaining senses.
I can hear the world, and
sadly, I hear it cry. The sounds of the wind chimes are beautiful, as if magic
but it speaks of grave danger nearing. Hearing how everything speaks is only
possible when you close your eyes and wonder off. Life is beautiful, life is
beautiful, or so I thought, “sorry.” Someone
bumped onto me, the encounter that never should’ve happened.
I heard a voice, a mans
voice, he’s about the same age as mine so it seemed, an average teenage boy
most likely. “It’s okay.” I smiled as I opened my eyes, and such a beautiful
face he had, with blond hair and marble blue eye, I was speechless. “You take
care now.” he has the kindest smile I’ve ever seen, he’s not from around here,
I can feel it.
It was embarrassing how I
was staring blankly into nothing blushing not noticing he went off already.
What could his business
here be? It must be important, since no one ever goes here. Stepping onto
something, it seemed like he left an important item, “Lionart beads?” could it
be his? If so; he’s a first class citizen.
No wonder he had looks that of a royalty.

“Genzo.” From afar someone
said. “You went out again, Jin.” Genzo complained as he walked on over
approaching Jin. “It’s not like anyone knows me out there.” Jin complained
sitting on a couch.
“Even if no-one knows you,
you’re still the one and only heir of Argo industries, we cant take any chances.”
He explained. “Relax Genzo.” Jin smiled patting Genzo’s right shoulder. “I just
went out to see if the rumors were true.” Jin explained. “Was it true?” Genzo
asked amused. “She’s back.” Jin explained. “It’s impossible, she died 3 years
ago.” Genzo recalled. “She took a different form this time; I’m still not sure
which form though.” Jin explained. “But it seemed like she’s different.” Jin
explained. “Different?” Genzo asked in confusion. “She seems tamed and calm…”
Jin explained.

“Aya.” A voice from a
distance was calling mine, the voice was feminine, and was gasping for air,
foot steps, fast foot steps, she was running, her slippers are broken, I can
hear all of it. “Stop.” I yelled, stop, stop or you’ll slip. “ahhh.”, I’m too
late. “Are you okay.” As I thought, it was Rui. “Aya, I was looking for you.”
She was looking for me? I wonder why. “What is it Rui?” I wonder, “huh?” this
sound, deep emotions are connected to it, it’s her heart, she’s nervous, the
sound of deep emotions she cant tell. “I’m sorry; you’re the only one I can run
to…” And so she cried. “I don’t know if you know…” that sound again, it’s getting
worst, the wind is crying. “But this world is…” why haven’t I noticed it
earlier. “Fear not Rui, don’t say things like that.” It’s weird that she knows,
but this is the best thing to do, sorry. “Sleep.” You’ll need this. “Aya…” this
world is ending.
I dunno how I do it, but
I’ve had strange and weird abilities after an incident that happened 3 years
ago. I was walking home with Rui, when we saw a bright light coming from the
forest, then an explosion occurred.
For some weird reason, we
woke up back at our homes, I remember fainting after being blown away by a big
explosion while walking home, I was never the same after that. The strange
thing was that Rui forgot everything about the explosion an non of it was on
the news, but I remember it clearly, an explosion like that should be
televised, but no, someone tampered with everything.
Humans aren’t supposed to
have what I have. So what am I, I don’t even know, but one thing is for sure.
“I am alive, and I will continue on living.”

“It’s quite windy today
don’t you think?” Elli asked. “…” Ran was speechless. “Sheesh, you should try
speaking you know, I feel like I’m talking to my self here.” Elli said lighting
a cigarette stick. “That kills.” Ran said. “It’s not like it matters, right?”
Elli joked. “Were even standing on the edge of the 80th floor.” Elli
said. “We should be getting back now.” Ran said. “There’s only an hour left for
humanity.” Elli said. “Aren’t you afraid?” Elli asked. “hmmf.” Ran just ignored
him. “Such a snob.” Elli complained, “I can’t help but wonder though.” Elli
thought “Do they really deserve their fate?”

“It’s happening and
nothing can prevent it.” The wind blows even harder than earlier, the waves of
the oceans are restless, animals are running away. “How long will you be
watching that show Aya?” even my brother is irritated in some weird way. “hmm?”
flash report? finally. “—we interrupt this program for an important national
emergency, Nuclear Missiles just lunched by them selves all around the world,
we still don’t know about where it would land, and.. i… --” the power went out,
the ground started shaking, I wonder if this is it. “Dan, don’t you think we
should go out now?” there’s no way he’ll agree. “What in the world is
happening?” It’s amazing how disasters changed his whole personality. “Come…” I
smiled at my brother, “we should go…” the left side of our house just fell
down, I wonder why I’m so calm about everything. “Aya..” My brother is scared.
“Let’s go..” Like with Rui, I’m sorry, brother. “Everything, you guys are
everything to me, aren’t you feeling sleepy now?” you should sleep this out,
“seeing this wont help you, any of you”
The sky, the sky was dark,
the sun just disappeared, people, people are running all over the place,
screaming, crying. The ground was still shaking, it’s sad that I cant save
anyone from this tragedy even my loved ones, for if I save them all, then
nothing will change.
Life, it’s sad that
everything has to disappear, for if nothing disappears, then nothing lives, if
man kind deserves to live, they must change for the better.
