    Kokutei, Shirogane [11th Division] Empty Kokutei, Shirogane [11th Division]

    Post by Shirogane Sat Oct 12, 2013 7:51 am

    (Shinigami Warrior of God)

                       (Your character here)

                       Character Name

                       "Character quote here."

    Basic Information:

    Name: {Kokutei, Shirogane}
    Age: {220}
    Age Appearance: {15)
    Gender: (Female)
    Affiliation: (shinigami)
    Division: (11th Division)
    Rank: {any I just want to role play with my cousin and others}
    Appearance: {Shirogane's appearance is one of beauty and royalty. She stands at the average height for a woman - 5"5'. Her trademark, gleaming silver hair is decorated into pony tails with the expensive hairpieces of her clan and shines with brilliance. Her golden eyes have reminded people on many occasions of a wolf's, although the princess would always take offence to being compared with such a fearsome beast. She does not wear her shihakushou out of choice; she'd much rather wear the attire of her fabled wardrobe. This normally causes her to sees how far she can push her luck with the number of custom items she can wear - scarves, gloves, ribbons, and jewelry of all kinds.}

    Personality: Shirogane's beauty is only skin-deep. Her bountiful life in Rukongai District 3 has reduced her personality to that of a spoilt brat, even at her age. She will always try to do things her own way, and always look for something to complain about. She is used to team-based work through training at the Shinigami Academy, but she definitely does not like it, and has an infamous reputation of driving her teammates to breaking point with her excessive criticisms and whims. More often than not she ends up doing missions alone, as nobody would willingly expose themselves to her demanding personality.

    One thing Shirogane cannot stand is criticism. Having lived a life believing she was the centre of everyone's world, she is not used to people suddenly turning around and mouthing off at her. It may be just as well then that she tends not to hear what anyone is saying unless speaking to her directly. Anyone dishing out insults to her can expect to be on the receiving end of a rather hard slap.

    As might be expected, an attitude like this leaves her with essentially no friends and a clueless disposition as to why. The only people she seems to speak to are her old Rukongian family, who could probably be the only people she appreciates; and her superiors, for whom she puts on a fake sense of sweetness.

    She has an extremely ignorant view of the world, which to her appears sugar-coated and very small. She has yet to see the full harshness of reality, and when she finally comes to meet it face-to-face, there's no guarantee she'll accept it.

    Your Legacy:

    Character Story:

    Shirogane's life as a mortal was one of poverty, quite contrare to her current situation. All her life she had been slaving away in various jobs just to be able to afford living costs. She had virtually no money to spend for her leisure. The constant shifting of jobs meant that she never stayed in one place long enough to make any good friends. This also meant that she had no time for family either, but this wasn't of much concern to her as they were always unappreciative and not very sympathetic towards her circumstances.

    Her death was every bit as unspectacular as her life. One day while she was on her way to one of her morning jobs the bus she was on got hit by another, and unfortunately it struck the part of the vehicle where she was sitting. She died almost instantly.

    Shirogane arrived in Rukongai District Three upon her death. Like most beings in Soul Society, she cannot remember her previous life. That was probably a good thing however, as her life had gone from bad to worse as she was forced to live as a beggar. Remembering her previous life would have only served to create longing for what she once had.

    Fortunately, a couple of months after her arrival, a local wealthy family were walking by and spotted her on the street. The head, Kokutei Karasu, stopped in his tracks, amazed by the raw beauty behind the poverty. Ignoring the protests of the administative members of his family he swept Shirogane from the streets and brought her to the Kokutei mansion, where she would begin a new life as Karasu's adopted daughter and be given a new name - her current one. The head's decision to bring Shirogane into the family from just a single glance has often evoked much confusion among the family, but he has always stuck by his decision, and over time they have come to learn that it was a wise choice.

    This is because it took hardly any time at all for her to adapt to the life of luxury and manners. She quickly learned the family traditions and became quite educated, both academically by tutors and practically by family members. She became a model daughter for the Kokutei family, and Karasu, though absent a lot of the time, had told Shirogane time and time again of his pride for her, often bringing her with him on trips to impress his clients.

    However, the sudden transformation from beggar to princess went to the girl's head. Her personality became quite a demanding and spoilt one, and she very swiftly lost sight of the squalor that she used to reside in. Because of this, she took most things for granted in her rich family, and became very much conceited. It was through a tantrum that she learned of her unusual level of power, and Karasu very quickly made use of this, enrolling her in the Spiritual Arts Academy.

    With many a fuss and strop she struggled on through the hard work that the Academy presented. The princess was adamant to continue to do her father proud, but at the same time missed her life of ease and riches. Her whiny and critical nature meant that she made no friends during her four years at the institution, as she had a tendency to drive her classmates mad with her constant moaning. The fact that many of them were scared to make any connections with the princess of the Kokutei family didn't help the situation.

    Once she has graduated Karasu made the notion of telling her she would become the next family head, but to do so she would have had to become as strong as she possibly could, so that she could lift the Kokutei family even higher in the hierarchy of Soul Society. Much to Shirogane's protest he persuaded her to go to the Eleventh Division in an effort to pursue this course of fate. After all, what a better way to become stronger than a unit that specializes in force and power?

    And so the story unfolds...

    RP Sample:

    Chapter 1: Academy Kidou

    The pink curtains had only just been thrown open and already the room had been flooded with light. This caused many of the sleeping girls to moan and shift. One or two even resorted to shoving pillows on their heads. It took the rings of an extremely loud bell to finally wrest them from their beds so that they could begin to slip their uniforms on. It didn't take them long - they were used to the routine by now. After all, it had already been a year since they first enrolled. There was however, one who had not quite caught on.

    Kokutei Shirogane quietly snoozed away in her covers, oblivious to the activity going on around her. It was remarkable - she'd been there for so long and yet still managed to oversleep every single day. Unfortunately the prefects had left it to the other girls in the dorm to ensure that she was awake for her classes. This was quite taxing for them, as the princess had quite a bad habit of snapping at whoever disturbed her slumber. This often resulted in the drawing of straws to see who would take the punishment. Sometimes the girls were so desperate they tried to cheat, albeit badly.

    On that particular morning one of these cheaters had been caught out, and so it was left to them to take on the dreaded task of awakening the grouchy heiress of the Kokutei family. She cautiously approached the princess' bed and took in a big breath. With much hesitation she slowly peeled back the duvet, only to have it snatched back out of her hands by the sleeping Shirogane.

    Perturbed by this the girl looked back to her dorm-mates, who simply gestured toward the sleeping shinigami in mockery. It looked like she really had no choice.

    She bent down and placed her hands carefully on the princess' shoulders.

    "Sh-Shirogane-san?" she stammered. "Y-you need to wake up."

    This was met with several moans and groans from the sleeper, who slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. Knowing what was about to come the girl that had woken her backed off by several steps.

    "Oh, no, no, no," Shirogane whined. "What time do you call this?! Who has woken me up this time?!"

    Again, the girl responsible looked back to her companions, as if looking for guidance. The only such advice they gave was an encouraging nod. Not much help.

    "It's ab-about nine... and it was me, M-Miyu," she explained, edging further backwards.

    "Well then let me make it clear to you, Miyu-chan," snapped the princess, her golden eyes now open and staring very accusingly at her new verbal punch bag. "I do not appreciate being woken before I decide it is time to wake up. I mean, who exactly do you think you are? My nanny? It's simply not on."

    She continued on with this for several moments as she dragged herself out of bed. Miyu could only stand by helplessly and expose herself to the torment as Shirogane threw on her shihakushou, which in itself was something else for the princess to complain about. The other girls in the room had slowly and slyly made their way to the exit to avoid her imminent wrath, but alas failed as she turned her attentions on them with questions of what they were doing there. The words 'such a charming girl' were running through each of their minds.

    It was going to be another long, long day.

    ~~~
    "Good morning, class," greeted the professor, surveying the trainees before him through his glasses. "Welcome to day four-hundred and thirteen."
    This comment was met by the usual moans from the rabble. They hated that the teacher insisted on reminding them that only another day has gone by. It only served to make time seem to go slower. Much, much slower. And again, as normal, the teacher merely straightened his spectacles and shrugged.
    "Now today, as you are aware, is quite an important day!" he began excitably, turning to the massive chalkboard behind him. He fetched his ladder and used it to write up a pair of large words.
    'PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS'
    Once more groans followed, and once more the professor straightened his glasses.
    "I'm sure you've all been practicing," he said with a grin that only added pressure onto the already fretting pupils. "So first up in today's exams is a kidou test!" With a click of his fingers a large pair of double doors opened up at the walls, leading outside into the courtyard.
    "So... who will be first to try and impress me?" he asked with a tone that could be interpreted as almost sinister. His eyes danced about the class as he fiddled with his cane, sifting through them all for his first victim. The students could tell when he was done choosing - his already large grin got wider. Several of them gulped. He raised his cane into the air before pointing swiftly at the first 'volunteer'. The attentions of the class immediately shifted towards his chosen candidate, all of them eager to see who was first to receive the punishment. However, when they found out who it was, they didn't feel as sorry for her as they could have done.
    The cane was pointing at a slumped girl, her messy silver hair sprawled out on the desk. As if on cue she left out a rather hefty snore. Those sat immediately next to her felt rather embarrassed.
    "Kokutei-chan," the professor confirmed, placing his hand on his glasses once more. The grey-haired man menacingly strode over towards her location. Every footstep echoed on the hard wooden floor of the large hall as he approached, like a predator hunting its prey. He stood behind her for a moment. The class knew what was about to happen, and they were definitely going to enjoy it.
    "Good morning, Kokutei-chan," he said softly, bending over very slightly. "How are you this morning?"
    "Fine, Katsutaka-sensei," the girl mumbled in her sleep. Several stifled sniggers could be made out in the room. She was so used to this by now that she'd learned to subconsciously respond to the professor while napping.
    "Fine, hmm?" the teacher repeated, putting his hand in his brown coat pocket and rummaging around for his signature punishment tool. "That's good to hear. Another late night, eh?"
    "Yeeeeeaaaaaah," sighed the snoozing princess. Her classmates waited with bated breath for the finale.
    "Well that's all fine and dandy," he reassured, pulling out a small device with a pair of antennae. He pressed a button and it came buzzing into life, ready to be used on the unsuspecting girl. "But I've told you once, and I've told you time and time again, my classroom is the last place in soul society you want to be catching up on lost sleep in."
    With that he made a quick and precise jab at the back of Shirogane's neck with the gadget, and suddenly a burst of electrical energy swam through her body, causing her to fall off her chair with a loud, shrill shriek. This raised much laughter in the class. They all felt she got what she deserved.
    Her hair now styled in a large afro, she rose from the ground wailing.
    "Katsutaka-sensei, that was foul!" she cried, tears beginning to well up in her golden eyes.
    "Nope," replied the teacher as he made his way back to the front. "This is cruel. You're up first for the kidou exam, Kokutei-chan." Shirogane's bawls became louder.
    "But... Katsutaka-sensei!" she pleaded. "I don't think I've finished pre..."
    "No, you have, you really have," interrupted the professor with a glare. He turned his attention back to the rest of the class. "Okay everyone, let's all go out into the courtyard to see how well Kokutei-chan does!" Eager not to upset the grey-haired man the pupils swiftly obeyed, whizzing outside through the open doors. Among them rushed a reluctant Shirogane, who was trying her best to clean up her tears before she was due to start. To her this was all unfair. She had been used to servants who gave her pampered treatment; not teachers who gave her electric shocks.
    just a small piece of what I had written on place I use to play at a year ago.
