Moon sits in his wooden chair made of solid Oak. Paperwork is scattered across his desk as he stairs blankly around the room. On a shelf is many assorted pictures of him and Jade. Their Captains photo is in the middle. Moon is on the right side of the frame and Jade, her picture taken separately, on the left.
Many books fill up the bookshelves surrounding the back wall. Most are about different Zanpaktou and their abilities. The two Captain share many interest, one of them happens to be collecting detail and information on Zanpaktou. They have filed over three hundred different blade, with details including everything from the welder to the minute details of its Banki. This started out as a fascination with learning more about Zanpaktou, then it slowly developed into an obsession. Now every chance they get to gain information on a new blade they leap at the opportunity.
Past the bookshelves are many scrolls on the wall, all of them read off the rules and the Code to live by for Squad 7. The Code reads off as:
"Honor above all. Sacrifice for the greater good. Respect is earned never expected. And accept your failures as they are leading you on the path of success."
Moon and Jade lived by this philosophy in life, death, and after life. Moon would read that scroll four or five times a day. Every time he would take its meaning in and live the teaching of them.
He continued scanning around. White walls, light orange shades over the window that gently let the sunlight shine down on him as he would work threw the day. His Zanpaktou always placed next to the desk. Its blade glistening in the light orange glow on the sunlight.
Moon took in a great deep breath and looked back at his paper work before he picked back up his quill and ink and continued to fill it out and sign where he needed.
I love the feel of success in the morning.
