Dropping by for a Visit...

Tenju Ichiken of the 6th squad made his way into 2nd squad territory with a curious look on his face. He heard rumors of the secretive 2nd division and it's black ops like components. Interested in the supposed mastery of stealth and speed Tenju had come here in hopes of perhaps learning something new that might make him a better shinigami overall...

Mukuro felt a decent spiritual pressure. He left the room he was taking a break in and slowly walked down the hallway and turned. He made it to the main room of the division. Inside of the room, along with himself, was Tenju, a member of the 6th division. He walked closer to him and examined him along the way, his purple eyes looking as if they're looking through you.

"Welcome to the 2nd" Mukuro said to him politely.

Tenju turned to face the shinigami who greeted him and bowed politely, "I'm Ichiken, Tenju with the 6th squad. I've come here to train with the 2nd squad." He introduced himself and stated his reason for being here a little quickly, the purple eyes staring into his own crimson orbs were a bit creepy. He was starting to get a bad feeling about being here, perhaps the 2nd squad didn't like outsiders poking around their division?

Mukuro rubbed his chin lightly. He continued to examine the man. He then appeared in front of him and placed his hand on the center of his forehead.
"Seems like you haven't learned Shikai just yet" He said. He removed his hand from his forehead and turned around, now standing in the center of the room.
"First, we talk, then I'll train you a bit so you can use your shikai" He said. "Is your captain alright with this?"

Tenju eyed the shinigami carefully, he certainly seemed like an odd one that was for sure as he appeared in front of Tenju and placed a hand on his head. Tenju took a step back and looked at him surprised as he somehow deduced from the odd act that he had yet to learn shikai. Tenju rubbed his forehead feeling the lingering sensation from the mans touch as he was offered a chat and training to learn his zanpakutou's name. It was a strange introduction and Tenju still didn't know what to call this person, "My captain...knows that I'll do anything to get stronger..." Tenju said as he walked next to the man and looked at him curiously, "Who are you? How did you know I cant use shikai?"

"I am Mukuro Sazumushi" He said. "I have the ability to enter others spirit world, where their zanpakto are at, and I can implant my own spirits to observe, its a strange ability that came with being the leader of the clan"
He sighed softly as he put his hands into his hakama pockets.
"But with me being a captain for so long i've learned to be able to tell, based on each persons spiritual power, if one person has their shikai or not, and some other things as well"
He looked at him closely, rubbing his chin some. "I can learn many many things just by the light touch on the forehead, you'll get used to it, but after that, I learned quite a bit about you"
He looked at him again.
"Now introduce yourself if you dont mind, just because I know a lot don't mean I know everything" He said laughing somewhat.

Tenju looked at the man who introduced himself as Mukuro and pondered over the claimed power to delve into ones spiritual world. It made Tenju think back to when he obtained his shinigami powers, a garden amidst a city is what he recalled. Tenju's thoughts were interrupted by a rather odd question however, "I...already introduced myself...My name is Tenju Ichiken, I'm with 6th squad. I was born a living soul and became a shinigami on my own and joined soul society in order to get stronger." He spoke before resting a single hand on his zanpakutou in a non-threatening natural manner as he made a fist with his other hand and looked down at it as the thoughts of getting stronger ran through his head.

Mukuro looked at him.
"Sorry about that" He said. He turned around and then he gripped both of his zanpakto.
"I will train you, but first we must get your inner spirit to accept you" He said to him. He dropped down on the floor and placed his twin zanpakt in his lap.
"Come" He said to Tenju. "Sit in front of me"

Tenju removed the two zanpakutou from his own waist and obeyed Mukuro's orders setting his own swords on his lap, "If this is going to be Jinzen then I already know it doesn't work for me." Tenju said a bit spectacle as they assumed the familiar stance of meditation, "I can't even enter my inner world, it's like there is a veil blocking the way."

Mukuro looked at him. "This is a Sazumushi Clan alternative to Jinzen" He said to him. "This will allow me to enter my zanpakto into your inner world to unblock your way"

Tenju simply nodded and realized there was little point in questioning such a thing as if this person's power to see into his world was legitimate he would have already known about the veil, "Lets begin then..." He said softly as he looked into the mans eyes.

Mukuro closed his eyes as he pressed his hands together. He began to focus his energy into the palms of his hands. He then shot his eyes open before he placed his hands onto Tenjus shoulders, allowing his energy that he had collected to flow into him.

"Now Tenju, take deep breaths" He said, as his energy continued to enter him. "It'll take a while for this to work, so you'll have to accept this energy so it can force its way to your inner world, allowing you entry" He knew this was unorthodox but it was the only way to allow him training for his shikai.

Tenju was already taking deep breaths having extensive experience in meditation it was natural to do so in this stance. He felt the energy wash over him and sink into his spiritual body warming him right to the very core. It was like being suddenly transported to some kind of void, Tenju felt his consciousness melt away as his body felt like it was sinking to the bottom of a vast and deep ocean. Then it was akin to reaching a giant underwater air pocket Tenju found himself falling through the air opening his eyes to see a large storm cloud beneath his feet. Wait...He was falling, the cloud was above his feet which meant!

Tenju spun around in mid air to face the ground, a garden amidst a city was below him. A feeling of nostalgia and happiness started to swell in Tenju's heart as he recognized this place well, it was his inner world. Tenju would land on the soft grass gently as if gravity had suddenly lightened for him to land and he began looking around curiously. This was only his second time being here but there were some key differences, the sky was now stormy and the park seemed smaller by about a third.

"Looks like it worked" Mukuro said to himself. "Now Tenju, I'll be sending Lucertola to watch over you, so nothing bad happens while you're there" He said to Tenju. His spiritual energy went from warm to somewhat cold. Lucertola, a young child wearing a black t-shirt with blue stripes around the collar, sleeves and waist line, and black pants, no shoes, appeared standing on a block of ice. His presence had no affect on the inner world, he was just there for observation, and upon orders, he would leave. He waited to see if anything would happen to Tenju, while he was in the world.

Tenju's feelings of happiness suddenly began to fade as his eyes laid upon the center of the park. Sitting upon a stone in meditation was his zanpakutou spirit however it was giving off a feeling of distrust and uncertainty. Tenju took little notice of Mukuro's spirit as he slowly took a few steps towards his own souls avatar, "You're...my..." Tenju began to speak however as the spirit opened it's eyes he silenced himself. They were not the eyes of happiness of reunion, instead they harbored a hint of animosity.

"Tenju! Why have you come here!?"

The spirits voice was cold and quick as he glared at Tenju through silver eyes. It seemed like it was about to say something else however the storm clouds above thundered with a loud boom and a black lightning bolt struck between the two. The spirit looked up at the clouds and then closed his eyes as he returned to his meditation, "You should leave..."

Tenju clenched his fist and was about to step forwards when the clouds above boomed once more. He stopped and looked up at the skys observing that the clouds were swirling around with his spirits location as the epicenter. Gathering up his courage Tenju walked forwards again only to have the clouds send another black lightning bolt between them. Tenju paused for a moments and looked carefully, the clouds shadowed everything but the rock that his spirit was meditating on.

It was almost as if the clouds were containing and confining him, the spirit seemed to be meditating to maintain the light around him. Tenju looked up at the clouds and then back to his spirit, "It's these clouds isn't it...They are keeping us from contacting each other." The spirit remained in silent meditation, "Well alright then, I'll just have to find a way to break you out!" Tenju began to walk towards his spirit and picked up speed ignoring the roaring thunder and deadly black lightning that began to crash down around him.

The spirit now opened his eyes and shouted, "No you fool! Stay back!" However Tenju ignored the spirit and continued on only to be struck by lightning causing him to yell in pain and be sent flying back several feet. The spirit looked concerned while he was on the ground but the moment Tenju began to get up it regained it's stoic composure, "I told you, now leave before you get yourself killed."

Lucertola, who happened to be near by, watching this go on, cringed. He hated the element of lightning or anything nearly resembled it.
"I wish you luck young shinigami" He said, softly, not sure that Tenju had heard it.

*Lucertola, if anything goes way to far, I want you to step in* Mukuro said telepathically to Lucertola. Lucertola merely nodded his head lightly, still watching the events happening before him.

Spoiler:

Tenju ignored his zanpakutou's orders to leave and began walking forwards once more only to be blown back by lightning again and again. By his fifth try Tenju was running full speed through the lightning side stepping left and right until he finally reached the edge of the light that isolated his spirit. The moment Tenju got close the lightning stopped however black flames erupted around the rock sealing off Tenju's path.

From behind the flames the spirit now watched eyes that were now uncaring, "You know nothing about me, yet you try this hard just to obtain my power?...You seek to use me to kill that badly?" Tenju stood across from the flames breathing heavily covered in burns from the lightning as he stared intently past the inferno, "That isn't why I'm trying so hard..."

Tenju took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he would accept the flames and cross over enduring the pain. Making up his mind his eyes opened with a determined shine in them as he stepped forwards and broke through the black fires, "I'm trying so hard because I never got to say thank you. You saved my life 6 years ago, the least I can do is free you from this little spot." Tenju spoke with sincerity in his words as the storm clouds were broken apart by beams of sun light breaking through until the sky was sunny and blue once more. Tenju's spirit looked at him wide eyed in surprise at his good intentions and simply sat there speechless.

Tenju bowed in thanks and then stood to face the spirit placing a hand on the zanpakutou at his waist, "Now that I know you weren't silent out of choice I'm not worried about getting shikai anymore. I know that when I'm ready you will teach it to me." He turned around and sat down on the grass laying back in the sun, "This is a nice place you got here..."

The spirit looked down at Tenju and closed it's eyes going back to its meditation, "Tenju...you are not the average person after all. I look forward to the next time we meet." Tenju simply closed his own eyes knowing that meant it was time to go, "Likewise..."

Lucertola had a smile on his face.
"Looks like they settled it" He said. Lucertola couldn't shake off the bad feeling he had since entering Tenjus inner world. He felt as if he was being watched, but that was impossible, himself, Tenju, and his spirit should be the only ones there. He shrugged the feeling off as he stood up on a block of ice, watching over Tenju, waiting.

Tenju got up after a moment and took in a deep breath before willing his leave from his inner world leaving the two spirits alone, vanishing as though he had never been there. The black flames that had not yet faded swirled together and took a solid form, a twin of Tenju with skin like volcanic black glass and hair as white as snow. The new manifestation looked back at Tenju's zanpakutou spirit and scoffed, "So the kid managed to open your eyes to the truth eh? What a pity." The meditating spirit opened his eyes and looked at the creature with utter despise, "I wondered why you wanted me to let you seal my connection to him so badly. Now that I've made it with him I know what you are planning. He has made his choice and I've made mine..." The black figure simply laughed off the spirits words as though they were nothing and turned to face the foreign spirit, Lucertola, "Oi! You better tell Tenju that he needs to get stronger nice and quick. I need him to be nice and strong when I steal that body of his."

Lucertola cringed. The evil in this entity was nothing that he had felt before. It was different than any of hte other forces he's faced.
He simply nodded his head, he was at a loss for words.

The dark spirit seemed please with Lucertola's reaction and grinned a wicked smile showing off his fanged teeth, "and don't tell him about me while you're at it. Let's just keep this a secret between us." With that the creature walked back towards the other unnamed spirit and placed a hand on it's shoulder, "Well since he broke the seal I guess there is no point trying to hide you anymore. Back in your cage..." As the black spirit said this flames engulfed the meditating spirit and appeared to consume him as he was absorbed into the dark figure. He then shot one last wicked glance back to Lucertola and imposed his will to eject the spirit from the inner world.

Tenju would open his eyes in the real world smiling rather content with the outcome he witnessed however surprise took over his face when he found that for some reason he couldn't explain he was crying. A deep sorry swelled up from inside of him, he probably instinctively felt what had occurred after he left even though he didn't see it himself.

Lucertolas spiritual pressure faded instantly out of Tenjus body. As things were coming back together, Mukuro opened his eyes to see Tenju had been crying.

"Tenju, are you alright?" He asked him, concerned for him. He then listened to what Lucertola had to say, regret came over his face as he wasn't able to tell the man about what was really going on. He discarded the feeling and waited for Tenjus reply.

Realizing his surrounding Tenju quickly wiped his tears and took a deep breath calming himself, "Yes, I'm sorry. I must have just been overjoyed..." His words said one thing but the tone of his voice was clearly worried. Tenju's guy feelings knew something was off but he didn't know what, he would bow to Mukuro in thanks nonetheless, "I appreciate this a lot. Thank you."
