Battle of Life : The Captain and Commander Returns

*pondering the words of the captain commander, Haji listened well, and watched the other captains.
each of their movements; their expressions; their mannerisms; He knew that somewhere in this room sat Judas; He had known for sometime that not all the leaks of the gotei had been closed; now he needed but to find who...

If only he could reveal the true intent of his visit...

Finally after a moment of silence had fallen over the group, the Shogun spoke:

*The squads will address this matter as needed; as for you commander I must speak with you personally once you have had time to rest..

Come to the Imperial City; we can speak there once you have recovered..."

*standing, he bowed to the room before taking his leave*

Mukuro opened his eyes. He noticed more captains in the area and didn't say a word. He raised his head up as he looked at the captain commander. He then turned his gaze to Michael, Rioshi, Roan, and Aki. He hated being together with all the captains, he didn't know any of them well, other than his son. He sighed as he leaned back into his seat.

In respect for the Shogun, Hanzo slightly bowed his head and turned to Michael. "Thank you, Michael, i always knew you could be depended on, in things like this, but i'd hope you'd work with another division aswell, perhaps the 11th Division." Hanzo turned to the 11th Division captain who's just arrived. He was not one of the captains when he left, but he knew him from when Jenny was Captain. "Have a seat" he offered the captain.


He turned to Aki, who was as lovely as ever, always curious, always wondering.

"I can understand a number, i can even understand a few citizens. But when our forces have come to be diminished to something so small, that we had to do a cover up. The Hollows, have successfully killed half our number, some of them even captains. If you're ever wondering, where your superiors have gone to, they're no longer alive. My vice captain, Ichijou's team were all elite shinigami's, some of them, your old captains. All dead."

Roan Oakranr wrote:*Just as Haji starts to leave, Roan throws open the doors and stumbles into the room. He bows to the commander*

Captain Roan Oakranr, 11th Division, reporting! Or, appearing....uuuuhhh...

*Stands straight, and just stands there, knowing he'd screwed up, somehow...*

*just as the Shogun was about to reach the door, they suddenly burst open, and out spilled a mass of black and white.

Haji looked down to notice the familiar insignia of the 11th stamped on the back of the young shinigami's uniform.

In his mind Haji couldn't help but laugh; yet outwardly he would not change his expression; as this serious matter must maintain the utmost discipline.

As the Young shinigami righted himself, Haji slowly let his reietsu creep out until it made the young captain feel as if the breath had been knocked out of him.

Once he noticed this expression, Haji spoke*

"I do hope this is not a sign of where the 11th now stands; It is quite rude to interrupt the commander when his addressing the others..."

*Letting his reitsu drop, he moved past the young captain, and when his face was out of sight, he let a small smile creep onto his face; even he remembered when he himself had stumbled into a captains meeting; in point of fact it was he and Hanzo; but at least this young one didn't smell of sake as they had...

Just as he was exiting the doors, Haji paused and turned for a moment back to the group*

"On second thought commander; bring the captain known as Aki Mifune with you..."

*With that he stepped out..*

Mukuro watches as Haji leaves the area. He starts to shake somewhat as he gets a cold chill down his backbone. He ignored the feeling and went back to his position before. He was thinking of many things, but he couldn't sort out his thoughts.

Aki sat and listened as she thought of who might have died, captains, citizens. Her expression changed into deep thought. She realized as more captains arrived how divided the gotei 13 really was. She barely knows any of the captains. She always thought of the gotei as a whole but now just in pieces. Before Haji left she heard he's words. She turned to him, "Wait Cap-" but it was too late before she could say anything as he left. What does he need me for? She than turned back to the head captain than back front. I should leave when the head captain leaves...I guess.

Mukuro sighs, ignoring Roans input.
"Commander, I'll be taking my leave for now" He said to him. "You know where to find me if i'm needed, since you need to finish that discussion we had earlier"
He got up out of his seat and pushed it back under the table. He then leaned down and darted away swiftly.

Aki sighed at the captains slowely leaving, she smiled at Roan, "You didnt miss much! Just tue numher of death tolls was worring but the 6th is taking care of it! Haji and Suzu taichou are gonna have a private chat. It wont affct you for now! I think thats all that we went through. Right? Sorry if i missed any details! Just in deep thought" aki giggled while swaying back and forth on her chair staring at the ceiling.

"That's right, Akira-san" Hanzo grumbled, then turned to Roan. "You are quite late, but you and the 6th Division captain will be given a mission to investigate the sudden raise in death tolls." It appears the meeting was done, as some people were rude enough to leave on there own accord. "This meeting is finished, if you have any questions you can speak to my assistant, she is in my office."

Hanzo then turned to Aki, now wearing a warmer, lightened look. "We should report to the Shogun, Aki-san, it appears he took great interest in you."

Hanzo knew the Quincy matter could wait, but this meeting was indeed at its end. They all gave there piece, it seemed everyone had something to do now, he was at ease after 5 years of missing in action.

Michael got up from his seat and bowed to the captain and to the other captains, Michael walks over to Roan and pats him on the shoulder gently and says.

"If You want I'll drop by your office later so we can discuss plans on this investigation okay!"

Michael smiled gently and then began to walk off again going towards the door, as he reached the door he then shunpoed out and then dashed off back to his squad.

Aki seeing the captain's orginal face again she smiled and got up from her chair, "Yes sir! I think I'll follow you though, I don't know where he is." She shrugs while walking toward the head captain and smiling. Aki was relieved that the head was still himself in some way. Though She still thought about why she was needed by the Yukimura.

"But ofcourse, Aki-san." Hanzo always knew when to separate work with regular life, this was one of the reasons why the clans greatly favored him. "The carriage that will take us there shall arrive any minute now, though im not sure the Shogun is expecting us this early after the meeting, the sooner is always the better, i dont believe you have any other tasks, do you?" Being more polite now, he asked the young captain of her duties, a meeting with the shogun was one thing, but if she had other plans, it would be rude not to ask.

Aki put one finger on her head and thought, "Hmmmmm, nope don't think so. I have a new member but I think she can get around. Yup, nothing on my agenda sir. I'm ready to go when the carriage arrives." She said smiling and bowing her head.

The carriage arrived like the wind, it wasn't heard, but it appeared like it was connected with Hanzo's thoughts. "Very well then, i think the carriage is here, we should depart immediately." The horses huffed, smoke coming out its noises, the carriage was weird looking, dark and almost borderline creepy. "Forgive the appearance of my carriage, it was kinda short notice, and this was the only one available." He warned her before hand, he knew she was like a child to him, and it could creep her to some extent, why he said in advance.

"Now then, shall we.."

Hanzo made his way out, walking fast on the seemingly endless halls, then finally, they reached the exit. The carriage was there, with an almost faceless chauffeur, he did have a face, but it was almost a blur to look at.

Hanzo opened the carriage door for her, he waited for her to enter, then he did as well.

The carraige will take them to the Yukimura province. Where the Shogun resides.
