Chock Full of Hypocrisy

Freedom:
The soft grass tickled my feet
and the aroma of flowers filled mah nose
The wind blew at my command
or I could stop it
My ears were then buffeted
By sweet sweet
construction noises
beneath the pour
of the rain
even though the sun was out

Dreamworlds:
Lost in dreamworlds,
floating and drifting by,
in a world of wonder,
striking vibrant chords.
I meander through,
gazing at it all,
marching through
a chocolate forest,
pondering what to do.
Then my eye is caught,
by a thief, no less,
so I give chase,
not caring at all
it might be peril fraught.
Then I woke up.

The Day is Endless:
The sun beat down upon our backs.
Of course, we were used to it by now.
We felt intense pain when against the ground,
Burning and burning and burning us,
The skin of our soles blistered,
While our souls hardened into rocks.
We trudge through the day,
Hoping for night cool embrace,
But we know it will never come.
Ever since Last Night,
We never see the moon,
Now just a piece of rock we can see.
Sometimes we wonder,
What it like?
Over there, where the day never comes,
While here,
The Day is Endless.

The hate burns inside
