Distinctive Features: 6'4 and with a cheerful demeanor belying an almost sly personality, the cheerful cane sword of this man can always be heard tapping softly against the shoulder blade of his left arm. His hair, almost albino white in complexion weaves irregularly through his locks shining with a bright glint in the sun across the edge of his trademark hat. An experienced fighter rumored to match the Captain of the First in strength, he is almost lazy to a fault, cheerfully styling his days in an almost whimsical manner. The Clockwork Doll is his strength, and his weakness. The shinigami is dying from this clockwork, and losing his humanity to machina.

The crying tears faded into permanent blue lines down the user's eyes, blessed relief from humanity that they so despised to be merged within him. All feeling gone, he tilts his head lightly as the host of the cybernetic core of his estate, staring at the music box as the wires and machinery geared and turned with his slightest motion. Turning the wheel on the music box as the gates of the 12th shut closed in all save the 11th's office as the one who stuck up for the clockwork doll, Rioshi grasped the small dream sphyre and sang into it as the entire Seireitei shuddered at the vibrations echoing throughout the entire estate. Abruptly it stopped, as the dying young scientist fell limply to his knees, supported by his zanai before the nanobots could scour the blood from his throat. His smile was soft, yet sad as the Gatekeeper rushed in and settled the now locked doors of the Machina Domain.

"I will tell you little girl, what you would have said to Leam that hour." the scientist said as he was lifted to his cane once more, knowing full well that as shinigami, their lives were now at the call of a music box for their betrayal. "If death is a stepping stone, betrayal is knowing you still live."

While this is a custom character, the basis off the Urahara Clan's primary representative in the manga and the anime is closely tied to an alternative reality individual with an emphasis on his prowess in the Gotei 13 as if Kisuke had retained his position in the Court Guard Squads. As a result, I have gathered all relevant abilities and structure of the character during all of his skills and appointments to be used for reference when fighting Urahara.On request of Mushamune, I have removed the masteries and decided to master them in game as a clear alternative.

To curious parties who have read my samples, you may have noticed the word Zanai. That is shorthand for a race I created with the assistance of Suzaku on Bleach Universal, simply meaning 'Zan(paktou) A.I.' Effectively allowing for player acceptance and customization, it is a unique artificial intelligence tailored to the swords of shinigami and even used in several cases to extend roleplay at new angles while allowing players to team up as others play their blades and set aside challenges. For example, a zanai player would be able to roleplay such little used events as Zangetsu's trials in ichigo's subconscious, or battle the inner hollows of shinigami as easily as they might stroll upon the paths of the Gotei Thirteen on a daily basis. On here it would be changed to reflect the zanai as shorthand for zanpaktou a.i. through my character's mechanical affinity, so sword spirit would be effectively the meaning.

Revising as we speak. It was a matter of limitations for development- I'll simply expand and build on the character in game until Ive met those, so its of no consequence to work with it. Understood.

I figured I might as well be direct and not have paragraphs of information since it seems few people have a tendency to read such. If there are specific areas you'd care for me to elaborate on, just let me know what you need. However, generally telling a person to 'fix everything' or the like kinda doesn't give me much room to change it unless I scrapped everything and started from the beginning.

Thats fine, but it still leaves a lot mind staggeringly missing. R&D is pretty much summed up in the SDRI, but then where is the site's basis for the creation of gigais, production of zanpaktou formations, or even the development of kido? Frankly, as much as I can admire the work of another research captain to the point of a standing ovation, the site has huge gaps in its materials and I simply intend to invent and write until my fingers bleed to make sure that half of it hasn't simply disappeared. Has anyone here even created a timeline or a history, much less any roleplay background for the creation of their characters, or show why they have the abilities they do?

My sincerest apologies, but I suppose I'll have to give you competition in research and development. Much as I hate to say it, but even when I read through the forums for about a month prior to registering.... lets just say that there's a lot to do, and Im giving ya a run for your money ^-^ As you can probably tell already from the fact that I'm competing against another candidate for captainship, monopolies in Rioshi's case were meant to be broken.

this does not need any more explaining that i have already given you. your always in bankai, which is a step beyond shikai. if you plan to have a shikai, than either have a complete sealed form, always in shikai. other than that you can't have a shikai.

'No constance in bankai' ==> What does that even mean? xD And yes, its a physical manifestation of a sword spirit. That was explained above.

Ill take a note from your book on sloth and just submit. This will be replaced with integrated conciousness, which as per your request, is an advanced bionics term meaning integrating with technology on a complete level. That's about as simplified as I can make it ^^; And the cannon is not for show, however I want to expand on that in game. Simply building all your abilities and having them ready from the very beginning of the game detracts from the roleplaying experience and so I wanted to make my character earn his abilities through rp. If you demand I change that as well I guess I'll do it =/
