The shikigani clan, a group known best for its ability to control the elements. So far, only one person has shown that he ahs been able to use the abilities within the clan, Mister E.
The clan's powers went dead after the incident with Hueco Arca. But with Mister E.'s appearance, it has started to come back, but only to certain members of the once well known clan. The leader of the clan, who has kept his abilities hidden, has shown himself in the soul society. Nobody knows who it is and he will show himself soon. With the ability to control the elements, Mister E. can change his zanpakto to match the element he's using.
History of the clan: Before Hueco Arca
The clan was well known for the assassination attempt on the old leader, Sousuke Ryuu by Mukuro Sazumushi. For this, Mukuro was exiled out of the clan and had his elemental abilities stript from him. The clan members at that time were Kyouga Minamoto and Suzaku Minamoto. Suzaku, was the oldest and had the best control over the elements than his brother Kyouga, but Kyouga was less skilled with controlling it and went into a rage whenever he used the light element, due to the demon blood inside his body. Shortly after the battle with the Zanpakto Clones, a door was open, sending the soul reapers to the past. However, certain events brought them back to the present and they were never allowed to open that certain door again. However, within time, arrancars started to show up, one by one, in the human world, coming after a girl named Uruha. Not long after finding her, Ciel made his appearance known to Zero, who was inside Suzaku. Suzaku used the lightning element along with his zanpakto spirit Boruto to fight, but he was sent to an 'inner' world with Ciel. With Ciel apparently back, and Zero still gone, nobody knows if he'll come back. But, with Ciel and Uruha opening the doors to Hueco Arca, many events happened. Kyouga became an arrancar, losing all of his Shikigani powers, Mister E. awoken in the human world with his shikigani powers, and Suzaku was split from his body, which was taken by his arrancar self, and sent to the body of his decendant, Lavi.
