Personality: Ai is a very gentlemanly like person. He finds females to be above all else in life and will switch his personality to fit what he would assume to be what a woman would want. Toward other guys, he usually tries to ignore them or otherwise get them to leave with horrid comments.

Story: Ai was born in Karakura town just like any other quincy. His mother was a beautiful blue haired woman. His father was a kind man who loved his family. Ai was brought up knowingly of his quincy powers and learned to use them quickly even though there was little he actually did with them then play around. When he was Fourteen, he had to watch his mouth get beat by a hollow. She did not die but to Ai, he was devastated. Why was such a woman fighting? he wondered. The concept soon grew larger as he trained to make sure she would never have to do a single thing. He soon grew more active in his social life. He found that every woman gave him a happiness that he couldn't find elsewhere. He began to date and that was the end of it.
