Captain's office

"Wager huh? Might get in trouble if I make one with the enemy"

*Aki leaned back on her couch and while closing her eyes. She opened them with a evil smile.*

"I like games."

Lee nodded his head as he heard her speaking of getting in trouble with speaking to him. He had made sure to keep a constant watch on any spiritual pressure that was other than there own and her own for the utmost secrecy at this point. He wouldn't have cared if he planned on doing what he was going to do but things changed. He then moved the cup onto the table and then placed his hands to each side of it and continued
"Okay, how about this. I will show you just how strong my resolve is by helping the soul society against these 'creatures'. If I show that I am stronger than all the captains, you will follow under me in secret. If I lose, well..."
He slowly moved his hands down and placed them onto his lap
"that will be up to you to decide."

"Follow under you? Intesting, but I'm not a follwer but sure I'll work alongside you. If you lose, well I hope you don't. I would like to see your future plans"

*She Smiled as she nodded*

"I accept the wager."

Lee slowly let his head nod along with what it was that Aki was saying and he then slowly let his hands raise up to place themselves onto the top of his cup as he then replied
"Well, it wouldn't have mattered what you picked anyway. Now I just have to hurry and find these so called angels and finish this as fast as I can before the other captains get in my way. But..."
He moved his hands around the cup and then took hold of it and raised it up to his lips
"I have to finish me tea and get some much needed down time."

"well enjoy your tea and much of the 3rd head quarters as you want. Just dont get caught."
*she walked over to her desk and looked at her papers*
"i believed a few are in austrailia and few in the cities"

Lee slowly let more of the tea move its way into his mouth as he slowly drank and listened to what she was saying. It seemed that the third squad was now his safe haven for the time being while he was in the soul society. He then lowered the cup as he watched her walking away and spoke
"If anyone asks, I forced my way in and threatened to destroy you and the barracks. That tends to give leeway. I'll have to make myself a little stowaway to keep myself out of sight for the time. Give me something to do."
He then looked over to her as she started looking over a stack of papers and then gave him small areas and he nodded his head as he took another sip of his drink.

*she grabbed a small stack of papers and putit in front of Lee*
"heres what i got on them so far. I think theres seven of them. Strong too so becareful out there. I have a few healing and stamina lollipops in the kitchen if you need them. My squadron doesnt hang around much here so feel free to do as you please. Though hikari seems to be here and there so careful with that and other captains"

* she walked over to her katana and just looked at it and than back to her desk. She took off her glasses and smiled* "finally something exciting"

Lee slowly let his eyes fall down at the papers that Aki placed in front of him. He moved his cup to the side as he placed it down and then took hold of a paper and then looked back down at the other stack and then to the one in his hand. It showed that they have in fact been spotted but some of them were without very much in formation. One showed up several times within the same time frame of the others. He then looked back up at Aki when she spoke of lollipop's and then Hikari. He did have to watch out still though it should not be to hard. He then remembered as he then leaned forward and slowly let himself raise up to his feet and looked toward her and spoke
"Aki, I need you to cry for me."

"cry for ypu? I cant even cry for myself my tears dried up years ago"

*she got up and walked to te window and stared outside*

"is there something your sad about?"

Lee slowly let his hands moved themselves up to cross over his chest and then he slowly let his head shakes from one side to the other as he then let his right hand raise itself up as he then replied
"Crying is more than just feeling. Though I can't remember the last time I cried even when I was apart of the squads."
He slowly let himself walk and stopped just a few inches behind Aki as he let his finger's slide over her shoulders and then looked down at her
"This is for a more personal reason Aki...just turn around..."

*she turned her head*

"what is it"

Lee slowly moved himself forward and let his hands slide over her shoulders until his arms had moved over them as well as he let his left hand raise itself up and rested on her cheek and his right skimmed along the rim of her glasses as he then spoke
"What would make you cry? Is there a thought that you would rather not think? Something you wouldn't like to see? Or..."

"or what? I have thoughts hat are best kept locked in"

*she let her smile fade*

Lee slowly let his fingertips slide along the rim of her glasses still as he moved closer behind her and then let his free arm move itself in front of her and move itself to wrap around her and let his head lower itself down as he moved his lips next to her ear and spoke lightly
"How about you share them with me Aki, I wont tell anyone my dear."
He let his fingertips take hold of her glasses as he slowly pulled them from her face.

*she got a bit tense at getting so close to somebody*
"its not much. Its the thought of being forgotten"

Lee listened as Aki spoke to him about being forgotten and he slowly let his sapphire eyes shimmer as he slowly let them close as he lowered his hand with the glasses in them and spoke once more, just a bit lighter in tone but just a bit closer to her ear
"To be left so alone, that would be a horrible end for you. You are always so full of joy, always laughing. Yet, does anyone ever take notice of what you do Aki?"

*suddenly thinkig about the question sje realizes many things*
"no they dont. People dont know how i feel, or think at all. They just see me as the kid captain that loves sweets"

Lee slowly lets her words reach him as she started to speak about how she was indeed not seen as anything but a child to the soul society. He let his head tilt to the side so that his head rested against her's and he continued
"They never take you seriously and only call on you to use you. They say things like they care and that your important but that's only when they need you. Why so you think that is Aki?"

"I'm a captain. I dedicate my life to serve the soul society. I guess its partly my fault. I mean i dont blame them."
*she gives out a slight laugh."

Lee slowly let his left hand move itself up to place itself onto Aki's right cheek as as he let his hand rest over it and then spoke once more
"But you do blame them don't you Aki? You wanted to be a captain so that people would come to you, so that people would look to you. Even now, you laugh because you know that you can't even fool yourself into thinking anything different."

*She put her hands on her ears*
"That's enough for now, I became a captain to gain power and lead those under me. I'm always happy, nothing can bring me down"
*She shut her eyes closed while trying to back away a bit*

Lee pulled his head back slightly as she covered her ears from his words now and spoke about her reasons and how not a thing could pull her down. He slowly let his hands lower themselves as they wrapped around her as he pulled her back against his chest and he slowly lowered his head to look down at her as his eyes opened once more to stare at her
"Aki, you should know by now that you can say all that but in truth. I'm the only sure thing you have because I already have everything. I wouldn't be here if I didn't and you know that's a fact. What do you think will happen when you lay around too long or someone better comes along? There is always someone out there Aki, just waiting."

"I don't want to wait, I wanna go for it."
*Her chilidhs senses coming back on she smiles looking down and says*
"I just wanna have fun."

Lee listened as Aki seemed to revert back into a more kiddy mode and he slowly places his hands onto her shoulders as a light grin comes to his face and he replies
"And I'll make sure that you have your fun Aki, all the fun you could possibly handle."
He enjoyed the thought of his plans and then slowly placed his left hand atop her head and then held his left hand toward her to return her glasses

*She took her glasses and put them on*
"I can't wait, I love games. escpically when I win"
*She let's out a laugh*
