On a mission to fight the arrancar that holds a grudge against Beans and Ruru, sometime during that mission, something sparked inside suzaku to attack Hanzo, who had just gotten done fighting the arrancar. As it turns out, Suzaku has been brain washed and is working with the arrancar. His controler is unknown to everyone but Suzaku. Due to this, he is constantly wanted by the soul society. They send out squad 6 as the front lines due to the fact that Suzaku is the lieutenant. The fight ends up being Suzaku vs Hanzo first.
