Site wide spar showdown

Who wants to spar like crazy? Cause weve been doing nothing with out zanpakuto's, just something i noticed.

Don't you think we should use it more often?

So who wants a spar showdown?

There would be judges of course.

I'll make a battle system for it, i just wanna know if any of you are interested.

This sounds interesting, I don't know how to do hand to hand combat just yet, but I would like to be a ref. or something. I should get help from *guy can't name*

With stuff like this, there has to be a system. We can't let like recruits battle it out and just god mod the whole time or something. We just need a small system to keep things, in tact in case something happens. And backup if the original's had to do something and couldn't. Thats why I requested to be a ref or something since i can't do hand to hand combat yet. *confused myself*

Wow, id have to say i kinda agree with what suz said above there.

The system i'm talking about is the entire program it's self, how fights are to be held etc.

Not necessarily restricting competitors with there RP, just setting things up so that it wont look like a scrambled egg.

and suzu, i dont think we need a ref when there are judges, i think you'd like it more to participate rather than just sit around watching the fight.

Any-who, I think i just came up with an idea for this last night.

Here are some of the competition guidelines:


There would be two Factions (with leaders i still have to pick)
Each Faction will have to think of a name for them selves.
Each team will be composed of several members coming from all different division, so its not a division by division tournament.
A faction would have to have an area to train them selves in (may it be in a division or else where, it's all up to them, if made successful, i might even make this special training area a private area so that no one could see it.)

The event will last for a month.
In the 1st 3 weeks, there would be 3 sets of fight with themes that will not be revealed until the a week before the competition.

In each field a faction can choose a fighter to join. (depending on the game conditions, there could be two players in one fight.)
They cannot change fighters if already listed.


Event could be moved or postponed by the facilitator.
No show in the event within 24 hours of starting would mean immediate disqualification. (make sure to communicate with each other, dont just rely on BD chat or PM, communicate with MSN, YM skype or whatever you use.)
Event can be expanded depending on how many players are involved. (say theres a miraclt having 20 players on each team, we'd have to adjust the event then)


as for the prizes, were still thinking about it.

Are there any requirments for the spar?

If not, here are some
Like 100 non spam posts, or 20 non spam posts
Must be at least a recruit in a division / Must be a seated officer in a division
If you enter, you can't not show up and expect the spar to still be on in 24 hours.

I was thinking that if they don't show up for the spar for 24 - 48 hours that its an automatic disqualification. I don't know though.

I actually said that on my list. (the immediate disqualification if they dont show up 24 hours after the spar has began) seems you mussed it.

Why not say that just have to be an active member of a Division instead of setting seats.

It's not a solo game, they play by groups ^_^

Well, we could give them money for the first prize and something else. The prize part of things is when it gets complicated. lol

True, cause BD cash is as worth as to having nothing... either way i'll just think of the prizes.

maybe 100,000 BD cash 1st place ^-^

and 5,000 be second
and 1,500 be third
and 500 be for the rest?

I'm saying this per faction suz.

so theirs only really just 1st and 2nd place since there would only be 2 factions.

Lets give 2nd placers 10,000 BD ^_^

The only problem is figuring out what the first prize will be. Lets just give some more thought into it

Back to daily wanderings within our divisions i suppose, that means people will either cooperate with me on this, or do nothing!!

Now if you noticed the one in yellow, you would need to train, But why would you?

I have an answer for that.

Since i wanna orient this spar event with the battle system, we will use the CAR beta, or Character Ability Rating BETA.

Everyone will be 15th seat on this competition, except for the faction leaders who would be 14th seat.


Here are the free points for each seat

15th seat = 6500
14th seat = 7000

now you would need to distribute those points into different skill areas such as.

Training will earn you points. lets say that every 5 training posts will earn you 10 points {depending on the length and quality of posts}
