I'll answer hmm.

1. Karma is kind alike reputation, but instead of not being able to give it for a long period of time, you can give it, say 10 times a day only.
2. About the BD points thing, the old one is the one with 500BD, its not functional anymore but we keep it since there are some people who still havent claimed there old money from it ^^.
3. A shrink is like your pet, but i dont want to call it pets, so i named it shrinks. you shrink is your pet, and they tame you LOL.

look, my shrink is my toilet paper, i named her LOVE

4. To unsubscribe to a thread, you must go to UCP>preferences

then when it comes to the question "Always notify me of replies :" select no, i think it automatically unsubscribes you to everything, but im not sure.

You may also try tweaking round with the action button on the upper right corner on the top of each page in a thread, i think it has options there too
