well Akechi Mitsuhide was never shogun. He was killed by the Toyotomi (supposedly at Yamazaki) long before the Tokugawa set up the Shogunate, and long after the fall of the Ashikaga Shogunate. He was only a retainer under the Oda.
Ok, so if you want a noble name with a Japanese feel, as a Japanese historian, I can offer you some ideas, but personally I would suggest doing this:
Try creating one of your own. You could start with a word like, "Take" which is the Japanese word for Bamboo. Then take something like "Mori" which means Forest and put them together like this:
Takamori Thus your clan name means "Bambo Forest"
Or you could use a word like I have in my last name "Mura" which usually means Village, and it does literally, but it is also used to mean "Grove" since a grove of trees are basically a village of trees..lol
So applying that now you could say:
Takamura meaning "Bamboo Grove"
If there is anything you would like to know the meaning of, just ask me. Also keep in mind, since it's a surname you are after, most Japanese surnames relate to a specific geographic thing like a grove of trees, villages or snow or something, and Noble names in particular, or they refer to some geographic village name or location. The reason for this is that before the Tokugawa Shogunate, people didn't have surnames. The shogunate made people began to take surnames, in order to keep accurate population information, sometime around the late 1600's / early 1700's.
Now the list I sent you above has a variety of Japanese noble names. Also please remember something; not every last name you come across, Honda for example, is a noble name. In fact, the Honda were a part of the Tokugawa Clan. The only actual "Noble" Names from Japanese were surnames of the Imperial Family, the Shogun, or any Daimyo's (People who were like governors or lords of a province and answered only to the shogun). otherwise they are just a part of someone else..lol
[Imperial Family]
No actual surname, only a given name that ends in -hito like Hirohito (Hiro + Hito)
[Shogunate]
Taira
Minamoto (the oldest Shogun clan name. To even be a Shogun, you must be able to prove or forge, proof that you are directly descended from the Minamoto.)
Ashikaga
Tokugawa
[Daimyo Names]
Amako
Arima
Asai
Chosokabe
Date
Toyotomi
Imagawa
Hojo
Mori
Mogami
Oda
Ômura
Ôtomo
Sanada
Shimazu
Takeda
Uesugi
Ukita
well that should give you some choices..lol
