A Note for D Gray Man Fans

As many of you know, D Gray Man has been on hiatus for awhile now, as it appeared that the manga was just going to end, perhaps with a cancellation. But I was looking over Onemanga.com today, and they posted up info as to why D Gray Man suddenly stopped.

It appears that the manga creator and author, Katsura Hoshino, has suffered from a wrist injury. That is why it can to a stop.

Plans for her to return to work say it should be around april, and there after, D Gray Man will return.

Here is a bit of info about regarding Katsura Hoshino, the author of D.Gray-man; she has been suffering from a wrist injury but has recovered quite a bit. Many people have sent in emails to us to confirm the report that she will be returning in April. So many thanks to you all for letting us know.
So there is still a few months before D.Gray-man will be back but at least Katsura Hoshino seems to be ok now which is great news.

But as for Hunter x Hunter we still have no info on that one. Sorry.

I know what you mean. I have missed it as well.

Outside of FMA, it is one of my favorites, and I was sad to think it had been cancelled
at such a pivotal moment.

I was very pleased to read that new chapters will begin again, I want to find out what happens with that second level 4..lol

At what part does your memory fade off?

Do you remember what happened when they finally killed the level 4 and went off to learn about the ghost?

I preferred the anime over the manga in this case.
And it isn't a surprise their going to end it abruptly.

It's not that the manga will end abrutly, although, you ae correct in terms of the anime; that was a big let down to end as it did, unless of course more is planned.

The writer must have been doing some awesome pen strokes on the last volume then. :)

well, if you want to discuss something what do you think about the kids ability? I mean the divine possession?

could yu image what he could do if he syncs with his innocence enough to be able to possess a level 4? He would be nearly unstoppable and most likely could hurt a noah.

Oh yeah, and you know what else i wonder?

Did you notice the way the anime ended with the ballroom scene and Allen walking? all that happened exactly like that in the manga, but they carried on.

what I'm thinking is this; the anime didn't end, it just caught up with the manga. and since the manga artist was hurt and the manga stopped for awhile, the anime in turn had to also.

it makes me wonder if they are going to start the anime back up with a new season once the manga moves on a bit.

I mean, the anime didn't end like an ending, more like a stay tuned.

nah the anime never had any real fillers...

I suppose they may have had an episode or two that wasn't manga based, never kept up really, but there wasn't a filler arc..

It just up and ended. and to be honest, it follows the manga pretty closely which is really cool; so I hope it does come back..

And that kid is real starting to grow on me..lol

Ok, this is a short add on to drop some recently released news:

As we all know, for unknown reasons, D Gray man manga was halted again, but it's been officially announced for a return on
August 17th, with a 50 page issue.

As for further info I tracked this down as well; when the question was posed about another season of the anime, the answer was that there had always been the intention to release more D gray Man anime. The series halt is mostly due to the two cases were the manga went on hiatus, forcing the anime to stop as well as there isn't nearly enough new chapters for another run at the moment.

as I said, big new chapter of D gray man is set for august 17th, as of now, and anime is still possible, but will depend on the manga being up and running again.

and it's going to be on hiatus AGAIN >_< and will be a MONTHLY instead of weekly T_T

yes but fear not; the monthly starts in the dec. issue which will be available on nov. 4th, so it should be long after that, that a subbed version is up.

awesome stuff, i am really getting into D gray man again started it yonks ago but got distracted but now im back and loving it :D

I am just curious but, did anyone discover what the skull symbolized when Allen's eye evolved or whatever it did when they went to recruit Krory.

I'm not 100% positive, but most likely it has something to do with him being the 14th, as they say in the most recent chapter, he isn't the player created by the Noah 14th, he IS the Noah 14.

Best guess I got on that.
