Its not bad at all...
Although, the face is a bit too elongated, especially for anime... its giving you a drawn out nose, and lips are always hard, I've had problems with them.
What I would say is to actually draw some Manga characters... like look directly at the picture, and draw the lines as you see them.
When I was young, the way I learned to draw was actually by tracing. Tracing was the easiest way for me to understand the body.
After awhile, I could draw a silhouette like it was nobody's business. I learned a lot, and since then, I have been drawing like a maniac.
My pictures arent perfect, but I am not a bad artist. I think that ppl put too much pressure on ppl who trace, really, its the best way to learn... I was 5 years old and tracing, and by 7 I was drawing ppl better than most kids in college for art.
Its all about remembering lines, knowing muscles and the curve of them... and remembering the basic anatomy and proportions.
Once you have those, youre set.
