Well, as you may or may not know...

Promises are made to be broken, and already Obama has said he cant come through with some of the things he promised to ppl on the campaign trail...
So, that doesnt mean he is going to be a BAD president... in fact, he could be a great president, but the thing is... he has to do a lot of changing, and its going to take a long time to see if he actually can change anything.
There are a lot of expectations around Obama... because of all the promises he made..

You know, adding onto Jenny's point, one thing I noticed, and it seems that many news organizations have as well,
is that Obama made it clear in his Speech, during his inaguration, that the work ahead will require
ALL of us to help make it sucessful. He pointed to the long road ahead, and how everyone should be involved in it.
Now here is what you should note from this;
First off, Obama recognizes the level of expectations and pressure that are own him, therefore, he is not only trying to unite the country when he says we all must work, he is also lowering the expectations of everyone to a realistic level. Well, I will be honest, I was never an Obama fan, and I am still not the biggest Obama fan.
He is our president though, and he cant screw up as much as Bush did... even though a bunch of idiots re-elected him a second term... Which, I did not vote for him either time.
I miss the Clintons, and everything they did for the economy.
But, I think Obama should have thought about what he was saying more on the Campaign trail when he was making promises that he couldnt keep, and even people on CNN and Fox News were saying "he cant promise things like that"...
Because then that leads to that one woman who was saying "I am voting for Obama cause I'll never have to pay any bills again"
The sad part is, many Americans actually thought that, elect Obama, and they will never have to do anything again, he will take care of debt and bills...
And believe it or not, a good amount (I dont want to say majority, cause thats not fair) of ppl who vote are ill educated... or vote for the wrong reasons and dont vote for the best candidate.
The point is, now he is having to say things like "its going to take a while, and its going to take us all to help" because 1. he promised change on the campaign trail, which made it sound like as soon as he got into office things would change 2. if things dont change, there is a copout to say we all didnt do enough, not just him...
I like Obama just fine... I, however, am not a fan of his wife... and everyone said his plan to withdraw troops wouldnt work and would be bad... now that we got ourselves into that mess... which never should have been started... we need to find another way out besides just pulling all our troops out really fast, it has to be gradual and safe for everyone involved.
I also think that he needs to work with the former presidents... more specifically Bill Clinton, since he was one of the best US Presidents we have ever had... and that I had the good fortune of being alive during his time in office.
I wish he could run again...

Obama seems very intelligent.
His speech reminds me of the manner of Abraham Lincoln and the power of Martin Luther.
He sounds like he has good ideas.
And he seems like someone who can begin to dig us out of the grave.

I have an idea. Lets keep giving money to all those big huge businesses like AIG, and keep letting them go on company vacations with it... heck, theyve done it twice, lets let them do it again!
Then, lets give bonuses to executives of companies, because ya know, they cant feed their children meatloaf, it must be liquid gold... how can they live on their millions of dollars a year alone? The poor things.
This bailout isnt going to do JACK for the regular person, who are the people who are losing their companies. The people who are working hard arent going to see a DIME of this.
Its big businesses that are getting this bailout, and theyre going to give it to all their little employees, and to themselves so they can put gas in their Hummers.
How many bailouts are we going to have before we realize that THIS DOESNT WORK!!!
Heck, if I would have known that I could be a stupid buyer, and go buy a home I couldnt afford, and then the government would bail me out, I would have went and bought me a freakin mansion just like all of those people did.
You shouldnt get bailed out because you were stupid and signed a contract for a house that you obviously couldnt afford. If you only make 40,000 a year... YOU CAN NOT BUY A 500,000 HOUSE!. This is NOT rocket science.
The people who SHOULD be getting this money is the average citizen, who IS ALREADY PAYING THEIR BILLS. Ppl who can pay for their mortgage, yet, they are working to make it all work... not making stupid decisions, and crying poverty in their 500,000 dollar home.
Its the ppl who bought in their means, and have children to raise in their 3 bedroom houses, with mortgages theyre barely paying off that need the help. That need money for christmas, and for birthdays... the regular person.
The government is only worried about big businesses... Its unconstitutional. If youre going to bail out some, youve got to bail out all, or its not fair. And yes, it DOES say that in the constitution... and the only way they are getting away with it is because of a stupid bill they passed in 2008 called the EESA, or the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act.
... if you think this stupid bailout is going to save this economy... youre out of your mind.
This money should be going to middle class families, the people who work hard and spend the money in their towns at small businesses, and to people who they are taking loans from who really needed them, like homeowners with good credit and students who are trying to make something of themselves in life.

You have the right idea.
Health care in America here sucks, I wish I was back in Britain or Canada, best healthcare ever.
They have doctors that came right to your house, house calls they took, sometimes you didn't have to pay for a visit.
It was nice.
But face it.
America is a cash cow, we like our money, well our government and our wealthy like money.
And they don't want to give it up.
The bailout seems like the best idea, for the situation at the moment.
