Well your shikai is more powerful u need to be at least 6 seat to start learning bankai which is a even stronger state. Remember your shikai could have up to 4 active abbilities and 3 passive abbilities the most. Passive are like increase of speed reitsu strengh etc. Active are your offensive and 2 defensive.
