Hazama Shinroku Mituskaze "Time Heals all wounds, but the nightmares reopen them." Basic Information: Name: Hazama Shinroku Mitsukaze Age: 339 Age Appearance: 24 Gender: Male Affiliation: Gotei 13 Division: 3rd Division Rank: Appearance:Hazama stands at 5'11 and has a large frame and the muscle to match.(due to hundreds of years of training)he has long black hair that is tied back into a low pony tail, his eyes are a dark brown He bears the Ako Castle crest on the back of his jimboari (a white or red sleeveless coat which resembles a captain's Hoari but shorter). Hazama also has dark circles under his eyes, also his arms and body carry scars. Hazama's hands and knuckles are heavily calloused. Personality:Hazama believes heavily in ritual, be it from waking in the morning to engaging in combat. He takes it to be his personal mission in life to protect all of those in his group, this stems from his life as a samurai retainer. Hazama is incredibly loyal and never turns his back on his friends and comrades, choosing to die by their side than run. Hazama though strict in his daily life, is rather laid back when it comes to recreation, though there are times when he can be quite depressing, these moments stem from constant nightmares. Hazama's personality switches when engaged in combat, he fights like a caged animal. This side of hazama appeared only after his arrival in Soul Society. Your Legacy: Character Story: Hazama was born into the Mitsukaze Family, his childhood was that of constant training as a retainer to Asano Takumi-no Kami. It was during this time that Hazama learned his martial arts and weapons training, though he trained for years and bore scars this was during a period of peace in Japan. In 1701, during the month of february his lord was tasked with entertaining an Imperial Ambassador and his party. Hazama's lord was not skilled in the matters of entertaining royal parties so lord Asano and another samurai by the name of Kamei-Sama sought out the man named Kozuke no-Suke who was well versed in entertaining royal guests. For many years afterwards Kosuke and Asano held these receptions, but after not recieving payment for his services, Kozuke humiliated Lord Asano and a fight broke out between them, with the only injury sustained was to Kozuke. Lord Asano was sentenced to commit seppuku, Hazama's whole life was brought to a sudden halt. After his lords execution, a plan was placed into motion for all of the loyal retainers to return and avenge their lord. During this time Hazama wondered from job to job, always keeping himself skilled in combat waiting for the day to come. Hazama received word of the meeting for the loyal retainers to come together, this was the time hazama waited for his whole life to revenge his lord. It was January 19, 1702, the day of the meeting finally arrived and hazama set out with his armor and weapons, it was at a place outside of Edo. The plan was announced, then at 2:30 they set out to the Kozuke residence. The group was able to exact there revenge on the man that "killed" his lord. The 47 Ronin were sentenced to commit seppuku on January 24, 1702. Hazama started his search for his "brothers" and lord, after 50 years of searching he decided to find work as a bodyguard, using his funds to fuel his search and his stomach. Hazama also began having nightmares of failing his lord and his drinking habit. Hazama worked for numerous employers over the next 262 years, each one of them suggested that he join the Shinigami academy and every time he declined.The last employer on his deathbed commanded Hazama to go and join the Shinigami, as the last dieing wish of an old man. After Hazama's employer died, he packed up his gear and head off to join the Academy. Hazama took the test twice and failed once, after that he went off to his new home. Hazama.....Hazama.....Hazama Hazama looked behind himself, panicked he starts running faster and faster. he runs toward a large building hoping to escape the voice. Hazama.....why weren't you there?....why didn't you help me? looking back Hazama sees a bright fiery light from which the voice is coming from. I....I tried....please forgive me the voice continued to taunt Hazama forcing him to run deeper into the building till he came to a dimly lit room. Looking around the room, Hazama relaxed breathing deeply and slowly. Then suddenly the center of the room burst into flames standing in the middle was a man Hazama knew but couldn't recall his name. HAZAMA...YOU FAILED ME HAZAMA AND NOW YOU WILL BURN N...no please don't, im....im sorry please don't a fiery hand reaches closer and closer to Hazama, just as it reaches his face Hazama snaps awake in a cold sweat. He looks around grabbing the large bottle next to his bed, he opens it and drinks its entire contents before falling back to sleep. Powers & Abilities: Zanpakutō: Zanpakuto Spirit Description: A giant fiery tengu wielding a flaming red sword. Zanpakuto Name: Hinomoto-Toushin Inner World: a burnt and barren forest with a massive bonfire in the middle of it. Sealed Appearance: A katana/tanto pair, with a star shaped tsuba, with red wraps and orange rayskin underneath. Shikai Name: Hinomoto-toushin Shikai Release Phrase: Burn The forest to cinder and ash. Released Appearance: The two blades remain almost completely the same as the sealed appearance with the exception that the blades are both engulfed in flames Shikai Special Ability: Hazama uses his swords to control and manipulate any fire or flame within 30 feet of himself. Bankai Name: Suburashi Hinomoto-toushin Bankai Release Phrase: The whole world will burn to cinder and ash Released Appearance: The swords (hazama appears to be engulfed in flames due to releasing of his bankai) become completely engulfed in large, immensely hot flames, Bankai Special Ability: Hazama's fire control and manipulation increase to a range of 100 feet. He can create fires at will to either attack or defend himself by covering his body in flames. Abilities Name: Shunpo State: Regular Terms of Usage:after training it can be used normally. Description: It allows the practitioner to move between point a and point b in faster than the eye can follow Downside: little training or little practice causes more steps to be taken between points as well as quickly tiring out the practitioner. Name: Kasai no sakusei (Fire Creation) State: Shikai Terms of Usage: The technique is activated/used after shikai release. This becomes a passive ability during shikai. Description: it allows hazama to create fire within 10 feet of himself. This also becomes his "safe" zone Downside: the range of creation is limited and the fire created can be effected by water and or water techniques. [/font] Name: Kajiarashi (Fire Storm) State: Shikai Terms of Usage:The technique is activated by saying its name. Description: using either the fire that he created or the fire of his blades, Hazama can move the fire around to attack or defend himself as long as his shikai is active. Downside: water or water techniques can counter the attacks. [/color] [/font] Name: Kazan (volcano) State: Shikai Terms of Usage: The technique is activated after shikai release and both of his swords must be plunged into the ground in order to use it. Description: by plunging his flaming swords into the ground hazama can cause an explosion (from under the ground) of fire/molten rock within 20 feet. Downside: Hazama loses his ability to use his swords while using this technique. [/color] Name: Dai kasai no sakusei (Greater Fire Creation) State: Bankai Terms of Usage:This Ability is activated after bankai release, it becomes a passive ability during bankai. Description: This is an improved version of the shikai ability. hazama can create flames/fire within a 30 ft radius of himself. the 10 foot "safe zone" is eliminated due to his affinity for fire. Downside: water techniques and water can effect this ability. [/color] [/font] Name: Kasai āmākurōn (Fire Armor Clone) State: Bankai Terms of Usage: The technique can be used before learning utsusemi. but to make use of the "clone"/shell Utsusemi is required. Description: covering himself in flames hazama creates fire armor and in conjunction with utsesumi creates a "clone" or fiery shell. Downside: water and water techniques as well as removal of fuel source. [/color] [/font] Name: Kami no honō (Flames of God) State: Bankai Terms of Usage: The technique is activated by saying the name, it can only be used in bankai. Description: This technique is the perfect version of the shikai ability Kajiarashi. There are larger and more numerous flames produced and used by this technique. Hazama can control and manipulate the flames to move through the air (similar to senbonsakura but with flames) Downside: water or water based techniques or removal of fuel source. [/color] [/font] Name: Kasai shīru gijutsu (Fire Seal Technique) State: Bankai Terms of Usage: The technique is/can be activated after bankai release or conditions) Description: The ultimate attack and final bankai. Condensing and concentrating all of his bankai's power and flames into his blades he can release a flurry of strikes (5 strikes) which seals whatever it comes into contact with. Downside: Due to condensing and concentrating all of his bankai's power and flames into his blades after his attacks finish his zanpaktou becomes sealed as well for atleast 2 weeks to a month. Description: Allows for movement at great speeds, usually creating an afterimage which can appear to take damage. Downside: intense training is required to be able to preform the technique. looks good to me so far....hopefully Aiko , Lee or Mike can help you give you some more approval since they are the ones that approve or deny anything

well any input you can give is good for me

so far it appears straight forward despite its kind uneasy on the eyes to read what you have written in brown...would of been better to write that in yellow as yellow on black is just that much more easy to read instead of having to highlight it all just to read the stuff. :)

A bit more info on this can help others get an idea what you are talking about because it feels very shallow still on exactly anything other than it creates a armor and clone. detail what else. of its limitations for the armor length of time upon being formed and the clone and its limitations

I tried to change the color I thought it did that on its own.  I got the idea for the armor clone from mortal combat it's supposed to be like sub zero's ice clone move.
