Personality: Shuten’s two dominant traits are his apparent lack of intelligence and his utter fearlessness. If Shuten finds something he does not understand, even if someone explains in detail, he calls it a "mystery". Simply put he is an idiot of unprecedented levels. He takes this as sense of pride though, willingly calling himself the master of all idiots and tells others no one can ever hope to pass his level of idiocy. He also has a strange obsession with parties and always wants to celebrate something and sees it a reason to party. The same cannot be said when he is on the field of battle, though; he has been known to dodge his opponents attacks with ease. It has been stated more than once that Shuten's instinct and behavior is similar to that of a wild hollow's, like when he knows who he has to fight before he even gets to the battle. Even how he fights shows this as he relies on his base instincts and then attempts a counter attack. This compliments the way he views the world. He is most often seen smiling, except in a fight where he is forced to use all his power. Shuten also seems to rarely change personality wise. Because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he occasionally is the only person who can see past events that have taken place and realize the true goal, yet at other times he can fall into the simplest of traps.

Shuten doesn’t remember most of his life as a human. It’s more than likely due to all the partying he did and because of the many alcoholic beverages that he had drunk. From what he can remember he was what they call a “People person”. He knew everyone and was always invited to the best parties where he did many, many fun and exciting things. The only party he remembers fully is the one which ended in his death. He got drunk, said the wrong thing to the wrong person, was dragged outside by that persons goons, was beaten to the edge of death, and finally had his head bashed in with a wooden baseball bat.

When he first died he saw nothing but an infinite darkness. While floating becoming accustomed to new situation this voice in the darkness began asking him if he wanted to continue living. He asked the voice that if had answered yes to the question if he could continue partying like he had done in his first life. The voice didn’t answer it simply made a door of light appear and told Shuten that wither he continued to party or become a mindless killing machine. Shuten shrugged and grabbed the handle and was enveloped by the light, becoming blinded by it. When his sight came back to him he was in a white dessert that seemed to have no end to it. He began walking and after sometime he saw three shadows in the distance. Not knowing any better he called out to them and began dash towards them. Once he got closer he saw that they weren’t human, they were monsters with these strange masks and they seemed to be eating one of their own. The monsters turned and began to droll over the prey that had just arrived. Before Shuten got the chance to talk they pounced onto him and began to devour him. Shuten did the best he could to fight them off but to no avail. As he was getting devoured the voice he had heard in the darkness started talking again and told him that knows was the time for his choice. Shuten easily decided that he wanted to continue to party. All of a sudden this strange swelling of power overwhelmed him and he blacked out. After a few seconds he regained his conscious and saw the monsters on the ground dead. His body felt a lot heavier than it had once did just a minute ago, so he lifted his arm up into his view and saw that it had changed into something similar to the monsters that had just tried to eat him. His stomach then began to rumble, letting him know that he had become hungry. He looked at the monsters that he killed and began to drool at the sight of their bodies, full of flesh and meat. He drooled even more as he sunk his teeth into their flash and ripped the muscle. After he finished his meal he left and continued on his journey eating any of those monsters, which he later found out were called hollows, that were foolish enough to make Shuten an enemy, but for the most part they just followed him and partied along with Shuten while trying to find the place they could call their own and throw the ultimate, endless party.

Many years passed and Shuten had gathered a decent group of hollows that felt the same way that he felt. There had been even more but, Shuten told them that if they wanted to continue to party they should eat other hollows so they could become stronger and live for this reason. They never stayed in one place for very long. They would gather some new followers, party all day with them and then while the new comers slept the night away they would be eaten by Shuten and his small following. Once they finished there meal they would move on to the next spot and continue the vicious cycle of partying and then feasting on other hollows. This went on for the longest time and with that time everyone in the group changed from normal hollows, to gillans, to adjuchas. As always they continued to party and eat other hollows to increase their own power. One day during there seemingly never ending traveling led them to a temple in the middle of the dessert. It was in decent condition and it appeared that it wasn’t in danger of collapsing any time soon. Shuten proudly claimed that their days of searching were over as they had finally claimed they had found the place where they could party for the rest of their lives. They did just that. They continued to do as they always had except this time the prey came to them. It was a joyous time from Shuten’s perspective and he would use all his power to protect so it wouldn’t change. One day this way of living was challenged by some new comer who had a large following of hollows and claimed Shuten and his group was in the wrong for eating nothing other than their fellow hollows. Shuten told the new comer it was so they could become stronger and continue to party for all of eternity, but the new comer said he spoke nothing but lies and so they began to fight. After several days of fighting Shuten and his small group had somehow came out on top tough they did suffer some losses in the fact that almost everyone had been bitten and as such could no longer progress on the path of evolution. They decided to not any of the hollows and instead left them all for Shuten to devour and add there powers to his. Shuten accepted the offer and devoured every single hollow they had defeated. In the end Shuten evolved into a vasto lorde and completed his own evolution.

Many more years had passed and Shuten and his group of followers continued to live like they always had, that would never change. One day a rumor began to spread around camp that Shuten could attain even more power if he ripped off his mask and became something known as an arrancar. One of his followers eventually brought this rumor to Shuten’s attention and told him about it. Shuten decided to test this rumor out and left to be alone for this process. In the case that he failed or the rumor turned out not to be true Shuten chose one of his followers to take his place as leader and told him to protect their scarred spot and continue to party no matter what. Once he was far enough away he began to the painful process of ripping his mask off but he eventually scudded. When he returned to the temple he was greeted with the biggest party they had ever had. With the new found power Shuten declared himself a king of Hueco Mundo and that if anyone ever wanted to party they knew where to come without the risk of being attacked.

It was another average day in the world of Hueco Mundo for Shuten and his group of followers. They had just finished partying and most of the people were sleeping the after effects off. Shuten alone was awake, as he laid on the ground and looked up into the darkened sky, whose only light was provided by the crescent moon. Shuten let out a small sigh as a smile came across his face before he leaped up and began walking away from the temple. He had enjoyed the party but he wasn’t tired yet he would need some more entertainment before that happened. As he got further and further away from the temple he expected something would have happened by now but, to his dismay nothing had.
Once he as a good two miles from the temple he drew out his sword from its sheath and began to swing it around in the cool air. After several good practice swings he held the sword out in front of him and gripped it with both hands and began to swing it around again, this time in a more refined manor. Several hour s later the sword was stabbed into the ground and Shuten laid down on the ground next to it breathing heavily as sweat dripped down from forehead. He closed his eyes and imagined tomorrow’s party and how they could make it better than the one they had today. As he laid there and continued to think he felt his wandering mind begin to fade away from him. He smiled “Finally I get to sleep” he said still smiling as faded farther and farther away.
Just as he was about to fall completely asleep the ground beneath him began to rumble and instantly brought him back to reality. He leaped up and grabbed his sword before he sonidoed out of the way. He did it just time too, for where he was just laying down burst upwards and a large worm like hollow rose up out of the ground and looked down at Shuten. It then began to gather a cero in front of its mouth, charging it so it would be stronger. Shuten took his free hand and lifted it into the air and drew and inverted cross “Bring it on ill finish this with one strike, borradura cero” he said as a grey cero launched out just as the worm-like hollow fired out its own cero. The ceros connected and Shuten’s completely overpowered the worm’s cero, canceling it out completely. Shuten then dashed in close and slashed his sword from the side as he jumped and hit it dead center.
He landed behind it as its upper portion fell to the ground and Shuten sheathed his sword. At that moment several of his followers came running up “Master Shuten we heard a big bang from the temple and we noticed that you weren’t there so we got worried and headed here as fast as we could” one of them as they stopped in front of Shuten and tried to regain their breath. He simply smiled and looked back at the worm “Well there’s no reason to worry it was just a normal hollow but let’s take it corpse back so we can have something for tomorrows part alright” He said turning around to pick it up and begin carrying it back to the temple. The followers soon joined and once they got it all back to the temple they began to party while Shuten got some well-deserved sleep.

Terms of usage: Activated
Description: Shuten gathers a swell of gravity inside his armor and then once it reaches a certain point, releases it all at once. It is capable of pushing enemies back and deflecting both physical and spiritual attacks.
Downside: must gather the gravity swell for at least one post and after it is released it can’t be used again for another three posts. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other technique at the same time.

Terms of usage: activated
Description: Shuten gathers a swell of gravity inside his armor to increase his own center and pulls all objects of a lighter weight towards him
Downside: same as push. Cannot specify target one thing it affects everything around him that is lighter.

Terms of usage: activated
Description: Shuten gather a swell of gravity inside his armor and then releases it causing another doubling of the gravity in the surrounding area of Shuten and his opponent, causing everything to feel four times as heavy as normal.
Downside: same as push.

Description: Shuten temporally absorbs all the gravity that he has released back into to his armor making everything fell four times lighter
Downside: takes at least one post to absorb all the gravity that has been released. Completely useless if gain has been used as it would make the area feel normal. While it makes everything lighter it decreases the strength behind attacks as it takes less force to move objects.

State: ressurection
Terms of usage: activated
Description: Shuten’s ultimate technique. He forms a dark black sphere of gravity that when thrown into the sky, attracts objects from all directions and pulls them into the sphere compressing them simultaneously. The surrounding earth, including forests and mountains, are collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a large sphere. A large crater is left where the earth has been collected from.
Downside: it takes three posts to gather the gravity and condense it to the point to where it can pull everything towards it. During the time Shuten is gathering the gravity if he is hit by any form of attack the gravity he had collected is dispersed and he has to start the process all over again. This technique also doesn’t allow selective targeting and absorbs everything in the area friend and foe alike.
Name: borradura cero (cancellation cero)
State: both
Terms of usage: activated
Description: A special type of cero developed by Shuten. It is activated by drawing an inverted cross in the air. Once the cross has been formed a grey cero with a green outline is fired and it is capable of canceling out energy or spiritual attacks.
Downside: once used it can’t be used again for another three turns. It is incapable of inflicting damage of any sort and is a defensive technique only.
