3 bright flashes of light signified the end of all that is earth, but instead of destroying everything, it restored everything back to it's original state. The most regular human would not remember the horrors of the new world, not the alphas, not the rebellion, not the even the one world government led by Andy McDowell-Mann Jr.
It was as if nothing had happened, wiping the knowledge of non-living entities from there mind, not remembering even the catastrophes that befell them before separation of earth from heaven and hell.
Everything was wiped clean, but not everyone forgot. Those who knew too much retained there memories.
The non-living immediately broke their alliances and went separate ways, now that the new world has fallen, the old one has comeback to life, it was a clean slate for everyone, everything is back to square one.
