Hiromi Miyamoto

Human Life: Cecelia Moretti lead a very simple life in Italy during the Renassance Period, doting on her younger brother who aspired to be a famous painter like so many that were rising up to fame around him. She wanted him to make their parents proud as she was a failue to them, a horrible excuse for a 'lady' as she wanted to be a doctor, not a wife, and no doubt was going to grow to be an old maid, husbandless. At this she couldn't care less at, but she didn't want to be a burden. So she ran away from their home in Florence to stay with relatives in Venice to work as a gondoleer. Her relatives warned her to make sure she kept up her disguise as a young boy, as girls were not allowed to become gondoleers. But sadly a Venitian officer of the law saw through her when she became very angry that he would not pay his fare. So arresting her, he had her hung by the neck until dead over the very waterways that she had gondoleered, as a message to any other females that tried as she did.

Plus Life: When Cecelia next woke up she thought that maybe the official hadn't hung her after all. Maybe it had been a nightmare, or maybe he had changed his mind and just beaten her instead and she just didn't remember. But if that was so then why was there a weird chain coming out of her chest? She felt weird when she touched it so Cecelia left it alone. She wandered around Venice for only a week roughly when she began to wonder why people couldn't see her. And why she hadn't been hungry or need to sleep. That was when she had her first encounter with one of the black beasts. It had a huge mouth and a white mask like one would wear on festivals but scarier than any artist could portray. All she could do was run, but when she was cornered, she tried punching it like she would do with bullies that bothered her brother. Sadly it did nothing other than anger the beast, but then it suddenly disentigrated before her. Behind where the beast had been, was a person clad in black with an odd looking sword. He told her that she would have been eaten with a weak punch like that. The man told her to get stronger and maybe she could have a good life in the 'Soul Society'. With those words he pressed the hilt of his sword against her forehead and she suddenly felt very light and worry free, floating higher and higher towards a place filled with light.

Shinigami Life: The soul that was formerly known as Cecelia was 'born' into the 37th District of the Rukongai. She was taken in by the Miyamoto family who named her 'Hiromi'. They had a scattered history of some of the members of their family becoming soul reapers and quickly discovered Hiromi's own potential to become one. They trained her to hone her spiritual pressure for many many years as she grew up, loving her family all the while. Her father and mother never pressured her to join the Academy until she knew she was ready. But finally she entered at age 103. Sadly when she entered and stayed at the Shinigami Academy, she discovered a thing called 'bullying'. It felt vaguely familiar to her, but she had never experienced it herself. She did NOT like it. And the thing she was teased about was the size of her chest, or rather lack thereof. At first she tried to just ignore it, but it did not take long to make her finally snap. She got in trouble quite a few times as a student for fighting on Academy grounds among her fellow peers, but never really cared. Eventually the boys finally stopped and she even gained some fans and friends among other girls that had yet to develop or even those who had and were teased because of their early blooming assets. They even started a group called MGA (Mamory Growth Advocates) and discovered that eating lots of meat (such as beef, chicken and eggs) and milk and dairy products would help their chests finally evolve past the A cup mark. Hiromi continued with this strict diet and ate meat and dairy for every meal (and still continues to do so even).

She soon flew through her classes in the Academy, especially kendo. However when she finally met her zanpakuto spirit and received her zanpakuto blade, she was a little disappointed. She started declining in her classes and grew distant from her friends. Finally one of her teachers (a Kido instructer) took notice and met her privately to ask what was the matter. Hiromi was hesitant at first but then she finally explained that she was sure there had been a mistake. The zanpakuto she had could not be hers. It didn't even like her. It didn't like her methods or beliefs and even told her that it would rather be some other soul reaper's zanpakuto! At this point Hiromi was fighting back tears even as she scoweled and balled her hands up into fists. Her teacher tried to soothe her worries and asked why her zanpakuto had said these things. She spat that it didn't want someone who would just kill, but heal. She didn't want to be a doctor, she wanted to protect people and defend them! The teacher simply shook her head and said kindly that isn't healing a way to protect them? And wouldn't defending them be even better than healing them after they had already been hurt? The teacher instructed her to meditate and speak with her zanpakuto as often as she could to try and find that middle ground. For there is never a mistake when a zanpakuto first chooses its master. It chose her for a reason and it was up to her to discover that reason and fortify their bond with that. Hiromi was skeptical and put off at first but eventually she did as she was instructed. It took years, but finally Hiromi and Masuyo found their middle ground. She promised to her zanpakuto that she would practice her hardest in all types of Kido so even if she wouldn't be able to lift her blade to fight, she would still be able to defend. Masuyo seemed content with this and helped Hiromi as she progressed through her classes exponentially.

When she finally graduated she was welcomed into Squad 13, where most of her family had gone. After a time she unlocked her zanpakuto's shikai, but was then offered to transfer to Squad 4 because of it. She stoutly refused for years until she finally realized she would be a bigger help in that squad than her current one. She was hesitant and not eager when she entered, but she was soon warmed up by the Squad Lieutenant. She made friends and got stronger in body and Kido. She made sure she knew every healing Kido available but also vigorously practiced powerful attack Kidos whenever she had spare time to train. Quickly rising through the ranks, Hiromi was promoted to third seat and stayed there for years until the Squad's Captain met an ill fate and died. The Lieutenant rose to Captain and Hiromi rose to Lieutenant rank. She helped the Captain with all that she could and learned much from her, including discovering her Bankai. But then something terrible happened when former Soul Reaper Lee Takamoto performed a terrible crime in creating the Arcane Benedicta. And because of it, the Captain of Squad 4 died. Taking the mantle now, Hiromi tries to be a stronger leader than any of her predecessors and will defend her Squad to the very last of her reserves.

Name: Saiseiseishimasu
State: Shikai
Terms of Usage:Shikai has to be activated.
Description: Upon contact with a wounded target, red smoke is emitted from the wound as it heals completely. The red smoke then enters the blade causing its gauge to fill up with a red light consistent with the level of the injury. Smaller wounds will barely fill the gauge at all, while Encroachment is great enough to instantly fill the gauge. However she is not able to regrow limbs or other (even small) appendages. This skill also is not able to heal fatal wounds (such as a stab to the heart).

Name: Mamoru Haoufukushimasu
State: Shikai
Terms of Usage: Shikai has to be activated and the gauge on the side of zanpakuto must be completely filled.
Description: When the gauge is full, Masuyo concentrates every wound it has absorbed into one massive attack that is usually initiated with a slashing movement that generates a stream of red energy somewhat similar to a Cero, powerful enough to deal a killing blow to a Menos Grande.

Name: Repurikeeto
State: Bankai
Terms of Usage: Needs to have fresh blood (at least one drop) put onto the doll (what Hiromi's zanpakuto transforms into when Bankai is released).
Description: When the blood is placed onto the blank doll, it then transforms to mirror the person who's blood the doll has. It is an exact replica and even copys what the person is wearing at the moment (for accuracy and modesty).

Name: Hanei
State: Bankai
Terms of Usage: Bankai must be activated and the first Bankai ability must be completed. The target cannot go more than 5 miles away from Hiromi and if she tries to hold the connection for more than 12 hours, it will fail. She also cannot do this ability without her needle.
Description: With her zanpakuto doll's accompanying needle Hiromi can do almost anything to the doll and it would be replicated to the target's body. So if she stabbed the doll in the thigh, her opponent's thigh would instantaeneously get a stab wound (seemingly from nothing) in the exact spot the doll did.
