"I am nameless... 3 days ago, I was a man, a man who had a name, who had a family and a normal life. I lived well, I worked hard and had fun in a moderated manner, but it all changed.
It only took hours. When the giant ball of light touched the ground, everything, the light touched disappeared into dust.
I lost my self that day, lost my identity, and now, only belong to the nation.
The new man Adam.
Adam of the nation.
Adam Nation."
A tall shirtless man stood atop a broken bridge, watching the tattered flag fly over and down the half broken pole as he stopped writing. He was sucking a lollipop, licking it, flipping it, still watching the flag. His face was hidden behind a gas mask, the fog of dust was overwhelming and dead, but if he knew any better, it was gonna rain soon.
A broadcast of something could be heard from an old radio half a street away the empty city of New London. It's the inauguration of peace as they called it. When the east fell to the west, it brought peace, but not to everyone.
He stood alone, watching his shadow, just listening, wondering if he could make a difference, Human as he was, he knew his battle was far from over, why else would he live, seeing everyone die within his reach?
He kicked a small rock as he stood up, deciding to walk the feeling off.
He no longer had a name, everyone he knew died, making his existence unnecessary to the world.
He released a long sight looking up, and seeing the broken Ferris Wheel.
It survived the fallout, like him, it stood tall, spinning continuously. Like him, it just keeps on moving, on an eternal loop, until an uncertain end. It stops.
"Ferris Wheel" He mumbled.
"I am." He continued... "Ferris Will."
