Clan Name:Izuna Clan
About: The Izuna Clan is one of the oldest clans in Soul society, and yet it perhaps the one that is less known about then others. They keep to themselves finding peace, even though surrounded by hollows. However since the battle between Daiseisho Oricaltos and the possessed Melodia Izuna the members have scattered to the wind.
History: One of the oldest clans in both soul society and heaven, the izuna clan are direct descendants of the first soul king. After the fall of the soul king, those of direct relation with him escaped into soul society. For a time searches in all the realms were made, but to no avail. Fact became fiction, fiction was lost to history and history became legend.
so they stayed in soul society, away from civilization, for fear of the searches continuing. Over time, the knowledge of the outside world began to get smaller and smaller. However the arts of the first soul king lived on in all of them, with the occular technique that is sealed in every izuna clan memeber. soon another family had found them, The oricaltos, and thus a treaty was proposed. So long as they defend the izuna clan from the hollows and menos that were in the area, they would be recognised and even recieve the power that the izuna clan had.
The blade techniques and a power that can see through armor and walls, eyes that need only see a move the one time. All these were at the izuna clan disposal. But they seeked a peaceful existance, even if the world didnt agreed.
Daiseisho oricaltos and the last head of the izuna clan battled after Lady Melodia was possessed by a hollow. As per the instructions of what daiseisho was given, they had to eliminate every hollow. and so he killed her even though he was sworn to protect her. after the death of Melodia no head was found for the Izuna clan, and soon it became nothing, but a ruin.
however sightings of people with bizzare eyes and powers not thought about were see in various locations, hinting that there are some still alive.

Other Information: many of the members have white hair and all have an ocular technique of some kind.
The ocular technique can be "switched" on and off at will. It will drain the reiatsu of the user as long as its on, However there are some who have bypassed this step entirely
