Appearance: Sureito has a large black body with short bony protrusions jutting out of his spine, his forearms, two large protrusions from his shoulders, and several more smaller ones on his shins. Behind him, a long thick tail curls around with a large bony sharp tip. The mask on his head is a bovine skull with the horns curved forward, the eyeholes glowing bright yellow.
Personality: Before he became a Hollow, Sureito was an cold calculating man who never thought twice about causing someone else discomfort or strife if it meant ensuring his own progression. He felt life in its entirety was much like an expansive board of chess, with human beings as the many differing pieces, and the paths of life as the many strategic actions that could be made. As a Hollow, not much has changed about him other than the insatiable thirst for souls.

When he was still human, Sureito grew up in a high-class family in North America. He had an accomplished education and eventually took over his father’s electronics company when he was only nineteen. His father, Juan, fell ill of disease not long after Sureito succeeded him. In his dying words, Juan told his son to look out for himself, lest the world consume him too. This was the first step Sureito took to becoming the ‘strategic savage’ he would later be famous for.
Ten years later, Sureito built up his father’s electronic empire, forcing his competitors out of the running with carefully planned publicity stunts, wagers, mergers, and of course underhanded dirty tricks. He quickly became one of the most infamous businessmen in the world…until other big business owners set their sights on destroying him.
Sureito believed himself to be invincible, until he met his first love, Shina. She was the only woman to have ever softened his cold rocky heart. A month after they had met, they were married. Within that year, they were already expecting twins. That is when the assassins struck. They killed Sureito, his wife, and their two unborn sons.
The pain of losing everything all at once anchored Sureito’s soul to the living world. He seethed with rage, aspiring to take vengeance on his enemies at any cost. This thirst for vengeance went on for a long and painful year before he finally descended into a Hollow.
Even as a soul-devouring monster, Sureito managed to retain most of his former intelligence…as well as his thirst for vengeance. His first target was the ringleader of the assassination, a former business competitor. He took his vengeance and devoured the man’s soul, as well as the souls of the man’s wife and children before moving on. Sureito continued his onslaught and devoured souls wherever he could find them, adopting the title ‘strategic savage’ to represent his new ambition to become stronger and advance his position in this new life. Now he chooses his battles wisely, preferring to win with deception than with brute strength.

“Another pair, down the hatch… I still don’t believe how good they taste.” Sureito chuckled darkly to himself as he sucked in a convenient pair of souls anchored to a small candy machine. He thought it amusing a few minutes ago, watching as they bickered over whom should get the gold-colored candy inside…despite the fact that they were both dead and couldn’t get the candy anyway. It was an easy meal; almost too easy.
Yellow glowing eyes looked behind to see a young woman dressed in black and wielding a sword. By now, he had started to recognize what these people were. Apparently, they called themselves shinigami and pledged to destroy monsters like him. So far, however, none have been able to destroy him. “Ah, so another one comes to quell my presence? I must be getting pretty famous…you’re the twentieth one they’ve sent.” he mentioned, turning to meet his foe.
The woman said nothing, only preparing herself before running towards the Hollow, sword raised high. Sureito chuckled again, his tail twitching with excitement. “I’ve begun to like these types. It will be a wondrous meal tonight!”

Terms of usage: Sureito activates this technique by concentrating his spiritual energy in his muscles where the bony protrusions on his body are.
Description: The bony spikes on Sureito’s body grow longer and sharpen, piercing flesh and bone alike. He can concentrate on the spikes in one area only if he wants to conserve energy for more attacks.
Downside: If an enemy is fast, they can close in for a strike before he is able to extend the spikes. Also, the spikes are only on his back, forearms, tail, and shins. This leaves his abdomen and thighs vulnerable.
