Victor was a bit shocked to see Hotaru suddenly fall to the ground after he had returned to normal and quickly moved to her and stood over her in concern, after a bit of time he heard her full explanation and smiled softly a bit before saying "Vell it iz understandable Hotaru, even upper seat Zhinigami have trouble ztanding vhen a Captain usez hiz or her Zhikai. You did very vell all thingz considered."

After seeing she was getting soaking wet and was having still trouble standing he moved back to his fake body and got back inside of it, this caused the body to release the mod soul back in its pill form and when that was done he put it away for later use. He then walked over to Hotaru and picked her up with ease due to her light weight and his physical strength, he then placed her in his arms bridal style and said "Zorry if thiz iz zo forward but I couldn't just let you zit in the mud. Vhen you recover from the ztress that Zpiritual Pressure caused you I'll put you down. I hope that iz okay vith you."

Victor bent down and grabbed Hotaru's umbrella as well before using it to keep her dry as best he could along with using his other so while she was in his arms. His hands were busy trying to hold onto the umbrellas, it would be good if the girl would take them so he could focus on not dropping her and walking.

Hotaru had made no move to stand up as she was approached by Victor once he had returned to his gigai. She was surprised though, when he picked her up as though it was nothing. The girl averted her gaze from the Shinigami as she took her umbrella back. Honestly she was slightly embarrassed at being held like this but didn't try to fight it.

"I'm sorry for your having to resort to this, Victor-san. Soon enough I should be back to normal though so you probably didn't have to do this. I guess I will just have to work to overcome this is all."

With the umbrella in her hands she held it over his head. Since she was drenched by now she figured it probably didn't matter if she was left out in the rain longer.

"If I may ask...where are we headed?"

Victor shook his head a bit then said "Hotaru there iz no reason to zay zorry to me for thiz, you helped me and I help you that is vhat friendz do ja? Anyway.....if I remember correctly cold vater pluz vomen'z clothing equalz........vell awkward momentz....Zo it best to not let you get too vet for that reason and to keep you healthy. Can't risk you missing a day of school nov can ve?"

He then heard her question of where they are going and he said "Toward the city at first....by then I vould be zure you could valk again and I can escort you back to your school. Anyway I zhould make contact with your higher upz and thank then for zending you my vay, thought I guess by thiz time they might be less in the mood for visitorz...."

He thought about that as he kept his eyes looking forward and didn't look down at the girl due to the whole wet clothing issue, also the fact he was trying to keep himself from making her more embarrassed.
