New theme for BD

Im thinking of having a new theme design for BD, but as always, i'd like your opinions.

What colors are you interested in seeing?


I'll take care of everything so long as you give me something to go with.

First comment! I'd go for a red and black, corruption theme facing a white and blue shinigami/purity conflict design.

Really, I'd just be interested with a new design scheme, but the current one is just fine for roleplaying purposes. A dark text background for sure, since many profiles and color replies are geared towards light text on a shadowed background.

Yes, dark, but what temperature? Something Cool greens, blues the likes, or something hot like reds and oranges.

Hmm I was thinking a dark blue... or mabie a lighter red then we have now hmm.. or a combination?

Blue and red... is like an ultimate color clash.

Is that good?

well, some may call it eye seizure, but, that's just me... Contrast colors are just not my thing i guess, forum wise that is.

Depends on how they're mixed, but I can see how that might be hard to design ^^'

Ahh dark blue, red swirl...whatever works, really. Practicality over artistic design.

Gotcha. It might be nice to get some additional input on this, so I'll see if I can drum up some site activity by advertising and the like.

And not such a harsh background with design. The wallpaper design is hard to deal with sometimes.

I want to see lukewarm colors. Dark background sure, but colors like blue and green. Something cool and calm.

Maybe like black, blue, green, and white.

Blue looks good with colors such as Black, White, Silver, and green *if the right tone is picked* You could also add a bit of gold to blue to give it a more regal look if you wish, certain shades of purple also are very good as well.

I'd really like some very royalish and regal.

So... i think the colors are leaning more towards the cooler tone, i'll wait for more suggestions.

AHH, i wish someone was that good at editing pictures -.-

i'd only stare at something like that for an hour haha.

But that's a really cool idea.

Shouldn't be too hard, I can easily trace this with paths by using Illustrator's pen tool. (Yes, I'm an amateur Graphic Artist. So what?)

Anyway, seeing as you all kinda agree with the cool dark theme, i tried making our AD with that color tone.
