Xin is a bit violent guy. Despite living for so long, he never matured and he is a bit childish. He likes the way things are unless it hurts someone innocent or hurts someone too much for something so little. He goes on rampage often, destroying things. He does this because he often gets incensed by what he learned or saw or just had a bad dream. He gets shocked easily, but in battle, he likes to remain calm and not talk.
He is also a scientist as well. Which means that he likes to study things he has seen before and make things.
Story:
He was once part of a lesser nobility, born in Soul Society. He was born in the 12th West Rukongai where he grew up without much trouble. When he became 12 years old, however, his shinigami power awakened and his parents forced him to go to the Shinigami Academy. He passed the test with flying colors, though most of them were mistakes for him because he wanted to show people that he could control but instead unleashed a rather large uncontrolable power surge that knocked several of the other shinigami-wannabes outside. But inside the academy, it took him 7 years to go through it because for one, he hated studying and two, he hated tests. But after some convincing from his friends he made, he studied for a while, enough to get him out of the academy. But one thing he didn't need to study was the sword handling. He was a natural at it. After graduation, he was accepted into the 3rd Division where he worked to improve himself. That's when he found his bankai. But when he found out about his zanpakuto spirit, he was disgusted and kept it secret.
Eventually he made it up to the 3rd seat in the divison and was asked to take the test for the captain's vacant seat. He didn't reject it, despite wanting to keep his bankai and shikai a secret. He showed them his shikai, which was enough to win a horror movie award and his bankai, which actually made many shinigamis dirty their pants. The Gotei 13 granted him the captain's seat but it was short lived. Everyone was disgusted of him because of his zanpakuto. Feeling rejected, he quietly left the Seireitei, which raised some alarms.
He came to the Living World in 1499 with nothing but few clothes. He went to Portugal and began to study in the human ways. In year 1730s to Quebac where he began to work as a fur exporter. When the 13 states decided to go against Britain, he decided to join them. Since then, he lived in silence, going to wars often and making some families here and there. Eventually, he became bored of human's predictable life and left to Alaska to train himself. After 100 years of training, he got bored of that as well and left to find someone to warm him up. He hates being alone.

Zanpakuto Information:
Zanpakuto Name: Kodokuna tamashī (孤独な魂) (Lonely Souls)
Sealed Appearance: A simple 6 foot thin katana with a skull as its hilt.
Zanpakuto Spirit Description: A horde of deranged spirits. They are one zanpakuto spirit, the Kodokuna Tamashi, but it usually comes out as the horde of grey souls or a single pale woman in black kimono. When it comes out in its woman form, it is usually smiling because, like it's name suggests, it was lonely until Xin called it.
Release Phrase: Reject those who have rejected you
Shikai
Released Appearance: The size of the katana decreases to a much more managable size, 4 foot long.
Other Changes: A ragged black silk robe appears on in.
Passive abilities (passive abilities are abilities that need no activation. maximum of 3)
Name: Grief
Description: Grief is a passive ability that seeks to repel. It is often powerful enough to cause a boulder to crack and blow apart just by a single touch. A vice-captain will have trouble with shikai to go through the ability's force to strike. But the distance in which the passive ability is active is three meters around Xin. If anything comes within those three meters, they are thrown back as if multiple invisible hands grab them and throw them back. Xin can active or disengage this ability at will.
Downside: While this ability is active, Xin cannot touch anything except his zanpakuto, his clothes, and himself. So if he keeps this up for too long as a defense, he will definitely starve. Captains might feel some uncomfortable tugs here and there.
Active abilities (Active abilities are abilities that needs activation. maximum of 3)
Name: Seeking (Motomeru)
Description: This ability allows Xin to cause human hands to burst out of the ground. The max number of hands are 100 and the max length they can come out of the ground is nine meters.
Downside: This ability requires Xin to have his sword stuck on the ground.

Bankai
Release Phrase: Make loneliness your friend and yourself into a demon
Released Appearance: The sword dissipates into a gaseous form that causes the entire area to be covered up in fog. The fog is pretty thick and seeing a meter in front of you is lucky, 50 centimeter is normal.
Other Changes: Xin looks very pale and a pair of red tears drip from his eye, constantly.
Passive abilities (passive abilities are abilities that need no activation. maximum of 3)
Name: Grief (enhanced)
Description: Grief becomes stronger but smaller in radius. The force of repel is stronger than before and now the captain will need to apply some forces and a normal souls will dissipate at contact with the invisible sphere that forces everything out.
Downside: Like stated in previous grief. Xin can touch nothing except his clothes and himself.
Active abilities (Active abilities are abilities that needs activation. maximum of 3)
Name: Sickle
Description: This ability is sending out a round disk-like semi-invisible attacks that has the same affects as Grief. But this attack focuses its attack on the areas it hits. For example, if a hollow's neck was hit by this even at a very slow speed, its neck would rip and fly apart from the Sickle's Grief-like effect.
Downside: They last only a minute before disintegrating. Captain will get a shallow to deep cut.

Name: Friendless
Description: This ability causes the fog to clear, blocks out reiatsu around the target, and then show a optical illusion that portraits the one being manipulated in the illusion to see himself.herself as a very lonely man/woman. This attack often confuses or shocks an opponent, which is enough for Xin to cut their throat open.
Downside: If the target is captain-level spiritual being, it doesn't work in the first place. And if the target moves too suddenly while Friendless is in action, then it breaks down.
