Appearance: Although some deny this, Yukari is indeed a female. She is 5ft 7 inches and has a slender figure, her male styled Espada Uniform hiding her true gender. Her voice is low for a female and holds a growling edge to it. Her shoulder length inky blue hair is usually tied back into a loose ponytail with a red ribbon, bangs falling over her bi-coloured eyes (one red, the other blue). The cause of her different eye colour was from an accident 300 years ago. She was sparring with her after-life long friend, Saiko, when she slipped, leaving herself unguarded as Saiko slashed Yukari's right eye, causing blood to mix with the pigments of colour in her iris, it also gave her one of her signature scars, an inch long one that travels from the top of her cheek bone to just above her right eyebrow. Later, after a near death experience against Byakuya Kuchiki, she received 2 more scars on her face, one that runs along from cheek to cheek over her nose, and a smaller one that just nicks the right corner of her mouth.
She also has several large scars over her torso, reminders of her past life. She has three which run across her back and curves slightly over her left shoulder and a circular one over her heart (th eplace where she was stabbed which caused her death).
Her uniform consists of a Grimmjow-esque jacket, though is longer and is fastened together to the top, where an overly large collar hangs over her shoulders. She wears baggy Hakamas that are tucked into her knee high black boots. Underneath her jacket she usually wears bindings to cover her chest.
When she smiles, dimples appear on her cheeks.
Hollow Hole Location: In the arch of her ribcage
Mask Remnants: Shattered remains of her original mask (which was broken after her fight with Byakuya Kuchiki) which curves from her jaw and up and around her right cheek and goes over, onto her forehead.
Number location: The number 4 is tattooed onto the right side of her neck, which is usually covered by her jackets collar.
Personality: Yukari's personality is enigmatic, aloof, mysterious and sometimes lecherous. She enjoys playing with peoples minds, confusing them and often creeping them out. Her true colours are far different to those she shows. When angered, she is dark, cruel and doesn't see the difference between right and wrong, but don't worry, as soon as this side of Yukari shows up, it's gone just as fast.
Yukari's personality is the result of years of being treated like a male. In her home land, she has been classed as one of the most attractive people in Las Noches, but not the sense that she would have liked. She is fawned over by females, and is unable to resist touching something that is being offered to her. She can't help but be charming and slightly perverted to people she deems beautiful, male and female alike. She has a sort of naïve view of liking things, and doesn't really care what she's with, male or female alike.
Fighting Aggression:
Yukari is difficult when it comes to fighting. She always holds back, not wishing to use her sword unless it's her last resort. She irritates her opponents because they claim they cannot read her movements, her body always taking a relaxed pose in battle. If angered, she foregoes all niceties and goes straight for her blade, mercilessly killing with a twisted smirk on her face, though when she calms down, she regrets what she has done, she always wants to give her opponent a way out, but they usually never take it.

Yukari was born 1519 years ago in Feudal Japan. Her father was the Lord of the West - Tatsuya- Sama, her mother, the Lady of the East - Chie-Sama. They were forced together to settle peace between their lands, so no love was involved in their coupling. Tatsuya longed for an heir and was blessed with twins, a male and female, two years into the marriage. Unfortunately Chie was not strong enough to survive through the birth and died the following day, leaving Tatsuya to raise them as strong warriors. He named them Yukari and Saito.
The two children could not be separated, they would play together, bathe together and sleep together. As the years went on, Saito's feelings for Yukari grew to something more than just sibling love. He longed for her to be his. He could see no one else but her, but the fates were cruel to Saito. At age 12 Yukari had fallen in love with the head Guard, Ryuuji, who had trained her in the arts of sword fighting from an early age. This crippled Saito, breaking his heart. He grew angry and cruel, using the female servants to try and make him forget about his sister, though it didn't work, his desire for her only grew stronger every day.
It was at the age of 14 that Saito had finally had enough and decided to make Yukari his, whether she liked it or not. He had snuck into her room at the dead of night, intent on making Yukari his woman. He had pounced on her sleeping form, startling her out of her slumber. There was a fight, as Yukari thought it was an assassin, she took the blade from under her pillow and plunged it into her attackers neck, not realising it was her beloved brother.
The death of Saito drastically changed Yukari, and it drove Tatsuya into a flurry of panic. He had no heir, so anyone could come and challenge him for his throne, and in his old age, he would surely lose. Then one night, an idea struck him. None of the towns-folk knew of Saito's death, and they would never would. From then on, Yukari was to become Saito, Tatsuya would go to the town crier and tell him of his daughters death, mercilessly murdered in her sleep. They mourned the loss of the kind girl, and soon after "Saito" was given the title of Lord, the old man not fit enough to stay as Lord.
Yukari grew bitter because of this, fitting the perfect role of Saito. She would not speak, she would not interact with the outside world. She just stayed holed up inside her castle, she didn't even shed a tear when her father passed away. The only light in her life was Ryuuji, who was now her bodyguard. He knew that "Saito" was truly Yukari and had promised to take that secret to the grave.
The loss of everything Yukari loved soon drove her insane. She grew paranoid and had all the servants, minus Ryuuji, killed, and their bodies hung on the gates of her castle to keep people away. She would have random killing sprees, forcing Ryuuji to kill a certain number of towns-folk for the sole reason that she was bored.
Soon it grew too much and the towns-folk revolted, storming the gates and making their way into the castle. It was there they came upon Yukari's corpse, Ryuuji standing over her with a bloodied sword. He had killed her. The sole person she had trusted had betrayed her. The towns-folk rejoiced and made Ryuuji their new ruler. Yukari's body was burned along with the sword that had killed her, the sword named Oukoku.....

Wandering the long white plains of Las Noches as an Adjuchas, Yukari never once thought about evolving herself into something stronger. She just wished to disappear into nothing, a feeling deep inside of her telling her that for some reason, although she had no memories, she deserved all that she was getting.
It was only when she saved and befriended a little cat Adjuchas named Saiko, that she decided to go on. She was determined to grow strong to protect the small creature, and out of sheer determination, she made her way up the food chain, Saiko following behind. Soon enough, the pair were noticed by Lord Aizen, who so kindly gave them their own human like forms, allowing them to join his army and train under the 4th and 6th Espadas.
Zanpakuto:
Demonio: A long Katana with a jagged hand guard, a tattered black handle and a crimson tinted blade. It is longer than the average Katana which makes it easier to attack from a distance. Demonio, which was formerly called "Oukoku" (Kingdom) Oukoku was eventually the blade which Ryuuji Kita, her best and only friend and first love used to kill her. Over the hundreds of years that Yukari roamed the world as an Adjuchas-Hollow, the sword (which they thought they had burned with her body) began to grow evil, creating a soul of it's own from the bitterness of Yukari's death. It became tainted, controlling those who wished to wield it, eventually causing them to kill themselves in a fit of madness. Yukari had a sealed sheathe, which protects others from the katana's harmful influence, made for her, so that only she had to battle against the darkness it gave off. The reason why Yukari rarely uses Demonio is because she fears she will be overtaken and destroy the few people that she cares about, much like how she did in the past.
Resurrección:
Her release command for her Zanpakuto is "Slaughter" (Tosatsu), referring to the way Yukari mercilessly slaughters her victims as the evil from Demonio takes over. A sure sign that Yukari's is no longer in control is that her usually soft blue left eye, changes to match her right eye, a deep, angry crimson.
In this form, her already incredible speed increases ten-fold, her senses become more attuned to the enemy, to the point of being able to hear their blood flowing through their veins and the beating of their hearts. She loses all sense of mercy and kills without a second thought, basking in the enemies pain. The longer she uses this form, the more control she hands over to Demonio. She will only ever use her release form if it is a last resort
When Yukari uses her resurrección, a black shadow swirls around her sword and curls itself around Yukari's arm so she can't let go. Her uniform changes to a battered and cracked old Japanese war armour minus the helmet, and her hair grows immensely, turning into a high ponytail atop her head.

It had started off as a small niggling sensation in the corner of her mind, poking at her senses, telling her something was amiss, but of course, it was ignored, the feeling a common thing when living in the world of Las Noches. But it was odd, this feeling wasn't like any others, it actually...hurt a bit, sending a sharp pain to the back of her eyes, as if she had a migrane.
Yukari shook her head and blinked rapidly, she had just missed Lord Aizen's last comment, but chose not to point that fact out, just in case it lead to some form of perverse punishment. So she just smiled and nodded and as soon as the meeting as over, she quickly made her way out of the large room and back to her own abode. She slammed the door shut and locked it, a small amount of panic settling on her shoulders. The sensation was now fully spread across her mind, and now she knew something was wrong. She didn't know whether or not anyone else had sensed it, because if they did they would have jumped at the chance or finding the source of the power and slaying it. Yukari went to her window, her bi-coloured eyes narrowing as her enhanced gaze shot through the landscape and zoned in on a figure in the white land.
She knew something was wrong. There was an intruder, a...young girl? In a school uniform? With...glasses and a traditional braid? Yukari had to do a double take before realising that there was indeed a young girl in a uniform, holding a sword in a very aggressive position. It excited Yukari, the thought of a long needed battle making the hairs on the back of her neck rise. She grinned, something unseen for a very long time, and her katana hummed with glee, black shadows dancing around the sheath.
With a quick glance to her door, double checking tat no one would try and enter, she leapt onto the window sill then sprung off, speeding towards the girl.
She landed 100 meters away from the girl, a twisted grin spread across er lips.
"Hey there girlie, what ya doin' in these parts? It's dangerous, dont'cha know?"
