I too was surprised that its over so abruptly after all the build up and hype, besides he was doing fine before he did the whole final getsuga tenshou ninja look, begin to wonder whether this was simply a plot device more than anything BUT major refrence to the spirit king really got me pysched up for future chapters.

I know right! I want Ichigo to have his shinigami powers back! but, won't he have his hollow powers still? Even if he lost his shinigami powers? I got confused a bit
