    Denreishinki

    Important Items for RP 290px-Denreishinki

The Denreishinki (伝令神機, Divine Messenger Machine) is an electronic inter-dimensional communications device that looks nearly identical to cellphones found in the Human World. It is used by Shinigami officers while on assignment in the Human World.

The Denreishinki allows a Shinigami to communicate with Soul Society while in the Human World. The device also contains a system similar to a GPS tracking system for Hollow detection. Hollows located within a given area will be indicated in a mapping function of the device. It is also capable of detecting nearby shinigami and can inform the user of whether they are geographically the closest to their target. Rukia Kuchiki used a Denreishinki on multiple occasions for communication and hollow detection when she was assigned to Karakura Town.

    Jigokuchō
    Important Items for RP 290px-Hellbutterfly

Jigokuchō (地獄蝶, Hell Butterfly) are completely black butterflies, except for a small outline of maroon on their lower wings, that serve various purposes.
They guide the Shinigami through the Senkaimon when travelling between Soul Society and the Human World, thereby saving them from the inconvenience of passing through Dangai. Jigokuchō are also used as messengers between Shinigami, often carrying important orders. Hell Butterflies are taken care of by Shinigami in Seireitei, the latter task being carried out usually by new and inexperienced members of the Gotei 13. Jigokuchō, like the Shinigami themselves, are only visible to spiritually aware beings.

    Senkaimon
The Senkaimon (穿界門, World Penetration Gate) is the dimensional gateway which Shinigami use to enter and leave Soul Society by unlocking it. When guided by a Jigokuchō, the Senkaimon takes the form of a waiting room entered through a sliding door. This was first seen used by Renji Abarai when he opens the Senkaimon by Byakuya Kuchiki's command. He opened the Senkaimon for Byakuya, himself and Rukia Kuchiki. The Senkaimon is used for Soul Society citizens (Shinigami, Souls, Zanpakutō Spirits, etc.)
Humans can also use such a gate through the use of Reishihenkanki (霊子変換機, Spirit Exchangers), which convert solid matter into spirit particles.
The Tenkai Kecchu (転界結柱, World-Shifting Binding-Posts) is a variant on this gate by using four linked points to create one spiritual unit of area radius that swaps something that it encircles with something else in Soul Society, as is done to Karakura Town to prevent Sōsuke Aizen from destroying it.

Intruders can pass through the Senkaimon in the same manner. While this method uses the same gate, the lack of a Jigokuchō forces intruders to pass through the Dangai (断界, Parsing World), a bordering dimension between the Human World and Soul Society (not to be confused with Hueco Mundo). This is much more dangerous to do, as souls that cannot pass through before the gate to Soul Society closes are trapped there forever. It is possible for Seireitei to deactivate these mechanisms, allowing Shinigami or Humans to traverse the Dangai safely. While the Senkaimon is run by the Kidō Corps, during The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc it is shown that there are private Senkaimon owned by high ranking Noble Families.

    Gigai

A Gigai (義骸, faux body) is an artificial body that allows Shinigami to remain in the Human World and interact with humans.

A Gigai can for an extended period, either due to temporary loss of powers or extended missions. In certain circumstances, a Shinigami will need a way to stay in the Human World for long periods of time, interact with the living, and/or recover their powers when the need arises, all of which they can't do in spirit form. Thus, the Gigai was developed. While the body is synthetic, it functions and operates exactly like a natural one, including but not limited to blood flow and the like. Unlike the normal Shinigami body, a Gigai is detectable by humans who are not at all spiritually aware, thereby allowing the Shinigami to interact with them. This also means that a Shinigami in a Gigai has to behave like a normal Human, this task can prove to be somewhat challenging to inexperienced Shinigami, due to the cultural and technical differences between the Human World and Soul Society.

    Variations
Kisuke Urahara experimented with Gigai at length, and created at least two variations. The most notable one is an untraceable Gigai which drains the user's spiritual power instead of restoring it, effectively making them Human if used long enough. He also developed an inflatable Gigai for use as a decoy in combat.
