8th Squad Trainning area

An open field area to do trainning, if any other members outside of the 8th division wish to join, they must make an application.

Nami was practicing her Kido as she looked at her targets, "Bakudo 9, Hōrin (Disintegrating Circle)"

*one end of a line came from her hands, as she wrapped it around the target dummy*

Ryohei wanders into the open plain outside the 8th divison gripping the hilt of his zanpakuto he feels confident about himself

"To think that the captain of the 8th division is willing to train me herself" He thinks aloud to himself "I wonder what she looks like... i've never seen her before"

He notices a young girl firing kido spells at some targets

"Ah maybe the captain's training two of us today" he muses to himself

*Nami looks waves her spinning the dummy, she had a look of consentration*
"now then.... "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Hado 63, Sōren Sōkatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down)"

"Nice shot!" Ryohei says impressed that a young girl could fire such kido spells so accuratly

"I must admit my spells could use a bit of polishing up..." He rubs the back of his head, still sore from his botched attempt to compete with the kido corps captain on the battlefield at his own game

"So do you have any idea where the captain is then?"

*Nami screams and hides behind the dummy she looks at Ryohei with shaky eyes, she tilted her head at him*
".....I.....I....I'm the 8th Squad Captain.....Nami Heartwing of the Minamoto family....."
*hides behind the dummy again, you can see her light blue hair from the hole she left in the dummy*

"Oh my apologies captain Nami" Ryohei bows at her as she hides behind the targets.

"Is she scared of me...?" he thinks to himself, he smiles at her direction

"3rd Squad 8th Seat Ryohei Mifune, its a pleasure to meet you"

"A pleasure....."
*she was still behind the dummy*

Smiling at the captain behind the target Ryohei wondered to himself, how could somone seemingly so innocent and timid become a captain of the court guards. Then he remembered his own captain and her great abilitys, this world was one where you certainly shouldn't judge by appearances.

"Well captain Nami im here for some training please" he said softly to her smiling, hoping to ease the tension in the air

Nami looked at him through the hole, "right....I see....the trainning right....."
*comes out from behind target*

Drawing his zanpakuto from its hilt Ryohei watches as the seemingly timid captain comes out from hiding behind the target

"Well Captain Nami, i'm up for anything" He continues smiling as he carefully watches her movement

Nami doesn't raise her hands or draw her sword, she looks at Ryohei for a moment, "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hado 63 Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Cannon)"
*a light came from above Ryohei, and blasted down at him*

"That chant... it couldn't be" Ryohei gasped as the light came from above to strike him he dived out of the way

"Captain?" he asked, his voice trembling in a fearful tone from the near death experience

Nami tilted her head to Ryohei, "is something wrong? You're trembling....."Nami said looking at him, she was still young so she didn't understand the full capablities of her position.

Shaking off his fears Ryohei stands up and boldy proclaims "SO Captain, would you like a kido based fight then? I may not look like it but i am an expert in the demon arts myself"

Nami tilted head again, "alright....that's fine by me....."
*smiles cutely at him*

"Very well" Ryohei smirks as he holds his right hand out in front of him "Hadō #31. Shakkahō"

A ball of intense red energy forms. About the size of a tennis ball it makes a loud popping sound and slowly flies towards Nami

"Uh huh... i don't know what happened there..."

Nami looked up, "Bakudo 81 Danku"she said bring up a rectangular barrier, she then started to use another chant, "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33, Sokatsui."
*nothing happens with second Kido*

As Nami begins to chant yet again Ryohei thinks to himself "lemons shes already begun chanting i haven't got time to waste" He holds out his right hand once again "Hadō #31. Shakkahō"

A small red ball of energy forms and is fired into the path of the pale blue shot of energy as Ryohei dives out of the way from whatever could happen next; the immiment explosion from the clash of the kido spells, or simply his attack simply being ungulfed by a superior one

Nami appeared behind Ryohei, "I haven't even shot my second kido yet.....here you go...."she said as she pointed her hand at him, "would this be a checkmate?"

Rubbing the back of his head chuckling Ryohei sighed

"I suppose it is, thankyou captain"

"You're very welcome.... Sorry..... I didn't mean to be so reckless with my abilities."
*lowers hand and goes by a nearby bench sitting down*

Joing Nami on the bench Ryohei smiles

"Its was certainly a learning experience, no i'm glad you went all out, it really does show how far i've got left to go"

Nami looked at him, "haha to be honest i thought you'd be afraid...seeing as how Lee is my older brother...and what his little puppets did to you and your captain...I heard you were defeated in one strike?"
*looks at him with concern*

Twiddling his thumbs Ryohei squirms on the spot

"I was out powered and out classed, i didn't stand a chance out there yet i tried anyway, and to think my elder brother stole the limelight from me once again... I'm sorry i didn't relise Lee was your brother"
