3rd Division Dojo

Getting a foot landing straight into his back Ryohei shudders in pain as he stumbles around on the spot

He holds his back as he straightens up and turns to look at her wincing in pain

"Quite the kick captain" he laughs, sweat pouring down his brow

All of a sudden he lunges forwards towards Aki slashing the sword at her once again, his strength about to fail him at any minute

*she smiles and just moves to the side a bit so he passes her*

"I think I know what to work on now"

Landing face down in the dirt Ryohei grumbles to himself

"Well what do i need work on...?" He sighs as he gets up

"stamina"

*she went over to ryohei and brushed some dirt off he's face*

"You ran out of strength too quickly and didn't listen to what I said at all"

*she started walking toward the boxes*

"come on time to go it's getting dark *smiles*"

"of course captain" Ryohei sighed as she wiped the dirt from his face

"Its been an eye opening experience, just seeing the skill level of a captain"

Ah but that's just the beginning

"come on let's go back to the HQ and freshin up!"

*she put the swords away and walked back*

*Aki started preparing as she was waiting forRyohei to show up*

"He's probably stressed about he's truw reslove maybe I shouldn't have rushed things."

Ryohei marches into the dojo, an air of confidence swirling around him

"Right its now or never" he thinks to himself gripping his fist

*She went outside to see Ryohei*

"Ah good just on time too. Come we must begin"

*Instead of the bamboo forest she went to a large pond*

"Well captain..." he began in a monotone sort of voice looking down at his feet as he walked towards the pond

"Whats the goal for today?" he said more optimistically looking up at her,punching his hand, an intense fire burning in his eyes.

*She jump oover to a rock that was in the middle of the pond. The rock was smaller than aki's head maybe the size of a rat yet she stayed in balance*

"We gonna try balance and while fighting. As you see there are rocks on this pond that you may stand on. Most are pretty small but that's the fun part. Try fighting me while balancing on a rock. You brought your sword?"

"Of course captain" he smiled as he lept into the air.

He descended and landed his pair of feet on two rocks next to each other, wobbling back and forth he eventually found his center of gravity and drew his zanpakuto.

"Err yes, yes i believe i am ready" he said as his eyes darted to briefly to his feet and then back to his captain

*She also drew her sword with a smile*

"ok this is also to help you make a stringer sprit kay? You make the first move this time. "

Ryohei nodded as his captain drew her blade

He was careful to maintain his balance as he took a swing at her with the blade from the right hand side

*Aki quickly jumped to another rock*

"Woah I almost slipped there. Nice one Ryohei!"

*Suddenly her face went from a smile to a serious face*

"My turn"

*She appeared next to Ryohei ready to swing at he's chest*

Ryohei yelped in surprise as his captain appeared right in front of him in the blink of an eye

Stumbling backwards from the rocks he stood on, he blocked the incoming blow with his sword as he stepped back onto another pair of rocks on the ponds surface

*Aki landed on another rock. Her seious face didn't change*

"You locked it in time. Though your battle scream was a bit werid"

I was hoping the water might be able to increase that amount of ice he gave off the other day

Ryohei's face flushed violently red as he rubbed the back of his head

"My apologies captain... i was caught off guard"

"Have no fear when fghting, no even the fear of death. Just focus on your goal."

*She shunpo'd herself foward toward Ryohei*

"On the goal" he thinks to himself as she shunpos towards him

"But whats my goal..." he wonders in his head as he hops backwards from stone to stone trying to escape from his captain

*She appeared behind him slicing at he's back*

"Your goal, is nt only Hanzo Mifune but also what... look within yourself. Talk to your soul"

"My soul... myself... i can do this yes" he says out loud as he dives from the slice at his back by mere millimetres.

"My resolve..." he says turning round on the spot swinging his blade with himself "im so close to discovering what it is"

*AKi stood at a rock looking at Ryohei*

"What is your reslove Ryohei? Take your time and think"

*Suddenly aki sat on the rock watching him*

Standing on the waters surface... he pondered for a moment

"Well when i was alive... all i wanted to do was keep the peace... call me self rightous but there are some poeple that can't protect themselves and thats what i wanted to do" he chuckled as he stood there not relising he was standing on iced over water instead of rocks

"It sounds ridicuolous i know, but that was why i joined the military in first place"

*aki stood up and finally gave a slight smile*

"it's not ridiculous. Maybe your reslove from when you were alive hasn't changed"
