Did Kubo make a mistake?

I was watching the latest ep and noticed something odd, through out the entire Fake Karakura arc, you never see Hitsugaya's bankai "flowers, did Kubo just give up on that idea or did he just forget about them?

I.E.

Hitsugaya going bankai to fight Aizen in the SS arc.


Hitsugaya going bankai to fight Aizen in the FKT arc.



Where'd the flowers go?

omgggg. Hitsugaya got deflowered roflol.. xDDD
he probably forgot to draw it @@ or he's just too lazy xD

didnt one of grimmjows fraccion comment that the flowers were symbolic of a countdown for the duration of his bankai since he was young and hadnt fully mastered it yet? could be hes mastered his bankai to an extent that he doesnt need the countdown anymore

Well, in the anime, that I just watched, he had 1 full flower and the top upward one left.
And in the manga, i've never actually noticed them, unless they're hidden or the flowers are slowly disappearing because when he went against Aizen, he was already weakened. I think....:(
