    Some of my all time favorites:
    BioShock, Dead Space, Knights of The Old Republic 1 +2

    Some others I like:
    Fallout 3, Dead Rising(somewhat sci-fi), Brute Force, Alot of Star Wars games.

    Can be either 360 or PC, please.

    Also, Don't suggest Mass Effect, I just couldn't get into that game for whatever reason.

    Well depends on your preferred style of gameplay really, a lot of my xbox games fall into the action and shooting games however a couple of sci fi versions of these i recommend are Lost Planet (full of alien monsters and giant mechs) and gears of war (just plain shooting really but still good fun)
